KS3 is a quick and easy option. Using my method enabled further tweaking and performance optimisations along with lower power draw and hopefully lower temps.

I’ve tried undervolting all core and -30 and even -20 doesn’t work. I needed to tweak per core. AID64 extreme with cpu, Fpu, and cache test finds instability immediately. A lot of people are overlooking this and assume if they can boot and browse around they’re good so just be careful.

Hey! I’ve not upgraded to the 9800X3D from my 5800x3d as I don’t have the need to just yet. I will do when I upgrade the 3080 to rtx 6000 series.

yea but the native fsr in stalker doesnt work right on nvidia video cards. my rtx3060 aswell

@@byggsak7358 I was using DLSS 3, tested FSR also. This config actually got it at a low or 55FPS and it runs at 80-100fps.

I realize this is an old comment but there is a bug with hardware-accelerated GPU scheduling. Disabling this fixed this crash for me.

Hi, been having issues getting working for steam do you happen to know where the files go, thank you. EDIT: I got it working for anyone who is having issues getting it working you need to have hardware gpu scheduling on.

@@henryscott6082Make sure windows and GPU driver are update to date. Type graphic settings into search bar on windows, then enable you scheduling will have to restart pc. Put the two files in the main folder of stalker 2, then Stalker 2/Binaries/win64 and put them their as well, this is for steam might be different depending on where you bought it.

I wouldnt mind the FSR 3 but the lag as you said is very annoying, and also every few seconds, all world textures a blinking, having spazms😢

Are you using a VPN? I had this issue on a few of my games and I eventually narrowed it down to me using a vpn. If not that, could be GPU/cpu instability or PSU issue.

@@RomanQwest There's a mod that reduced my input lag by 20% and haven't seen a flickering texture since, dunno which one did it but one of these i assume 1) Ultimate engine tweaks 2) Optimized Tweaks i also suggest getting Equalized aim sensitivity and with these 3 mods the game has been almost perfect for me.

Try setting low latency mode in nvidia control panel. Also try with Lossless upscaling 2x performance mode.

I think it should be. Worth checking the manual and updating to the latest bios to get access to PBO2 and CO.

Kombo Strike is essentially Curve Optimiser but with options -10, -20 or -30. I used KS initially but now full PBO2 and CO is available so I use that instead.

@@pav1u It’s been long known that CP is a poorly optimised game! Plus it’s always worth stress testing with several different scenarios.

I believe Asus Performance Enhancer is PBO presets so it’s similar in a way but you should check the ASU’s website to fully understand what it does as I haven’t used an Asus board.

Yes cooling is necessary for the CPU.

81 is the MAX temperature of high-end AMDs... It is pretty *normal* under FULL LOAD if You ask me. I get this 80 or 81 Celsius on my Ryzen 5800X3D all the time when running some intensive computations or a stress test!....... even with the *water* cooling NZXT Kraken X53 (280mm, 2x 140mm fan from NOCTUA !!).

@@overtonecz i went to computer store and they asked me if it thermal throttleing. and he said if it does that then cooling is not good. my next question might be if i had better cooling could i prolong the life of the chip because i dont really need better preformance. or would the chip just speed up and heat up more? its been working great anyways

Clearly something else is wrong with your computer, if you followed my guide there would be nothing wrong with your pc. It’s impossible to break a computer by undervolting it. It seems most likely your system is unstable with the settings from my guide. In which case you should reset the CMOS.

@@tisikygaming brotha, I followed your guide exactly, and after hitting F10 to save bios settings my pc never booted up again, my pc is only 2 years old, i dust and clean it every day, run constant benchmarks, there is absolutely no other possible cause for it not working especially considering it was immediately after changing bios

@@DeathReserves like I said previously, it’s impossible for this guide to “break your pc”. The cpu is being fed less voltage. So if your computer doesn’t work anymore it must be some other fault.

@@DeathReserves well most likely scenario is that your computer isn’t capable of running the undervolt listed here. In this case you should reset the CMOS and restore optimised default in bios.

means that its not stable on your build...you have reset bios and choose different values to undervolt/clock.

@@DeathReserves search for CMOS reset for your specific motherbaord model (most motherboards it will be the same method of doing it), it looked very complicated for me week ago but after doing it you will get used to it and u can safely experiment bios settings without fear.

What do you mean by see how high the cpu can go? The cpu won’t run at any faster speed, and it won’t bottleneck at 1440p low settings.

@@tisikygamingI mean how many fps can it deliver if the GPU is not the bottleneck. The lower the GPU load, the less it bottlenecks and the more you see the effect of the CPU. Of course playing at 720p Low would be more indicative.
