VINTAGE RODS ARE SWEET!! I’m still using a loomis IM6 STR1024 I use it on steelhead and chinook.

I’ve done some things not to smart to get free bobbers before not gonna lie.

I inherited my dad’s & my grandpa’s fishing gear after my dad passed last year. I’ve been using my grandpa’s old Montague salmon rod (from the 50’s??) the last 2 seasons and have killed it on that rod. New gear is cool, but there’s something about an old family piece that just makes you smile every time you get a fish on it.

Start minute mark 12:41 for the "free Willie" salmon front flip 😮 that doggie went straight for the belly flop after it's rotation 😂😂😂 man oh man im excited for Friday!

good fishing! I always bring a rod dedicated to spoons and spinners. The other rod is a bobber rod or a drift setup. some times if I can’t decide what to go I bring all three that way I got what ever the run looks like covered. Also I was able to use the reel you sold me. I put it on my drift rod and it is so smooth, I’m supper happy with this set up👍 thank you!

Try the other crab traps that go on a rod. They work alot better.

I've heard some guys replace their leaders if they get off a snag because the "stretch has been used up" and it'll snap. Similarly, every time metal is bent, it becomes weaker. But, idk, you catch more fish than I do, I just hate losing them, so I'm not sure what risks to take to keep fishing after a snag. 😅
