Howdy, King Slayer Brian! Woohoo! Sweet! Quick Chinook limits! Seemed like you guys were there 30 minutes ahead of the crowd. You had the right pole holder that morning, for sure! Running herring behind the flashers? I saw the stinger treble hook. You got meat, and eggs for river fishing, gotta love that! Awesome episode! Thanks, Brian!
You gotta reset your scale after you weigh the first fish Brian! I have that same scale and the letter H for hold the current weight pops up on the left. Hit reset before you weigh the next one. Great video, and I'm glad to see your channel growing brother. 👊
Awesome Automagic, I am so excited that you caught two. Oh, the competition ended on Friday.....we are tied...😅 beautiful fish, so silver. 17.9, that's great, who would of thought twins? Nice, so excited you had such a great time!!! Hope to see you out fishing with us all again. Thank God for you and your family, Automagic. Please say hello to your wife.
Thank you so much, it was wonderful that you and Kevin were willing to introduce me to Kirk. He sure seems like a great brother I have to say that the left side of the boat looks good on me, lol just teasing I was shocked to see that the second fish was the same weight
I find it easier if I keep the back of the fish towards me at all times. Sharp knife and 1 slice each side most of the time I don't gut the fish it saves alot of time. Practice makes perfect lol awsome video man .
It is always harder to do second side for me for some reason. To keep back of fish towards me, I have to change direction of cutting or switch hands on knife. What do you do?
Gotta catch fish and try new things, never know when even a part of a new way of doing something is better. Its worth exploring! Going out on the boat this weekend for coho and crab, you got me pumped with this vid!
You should see how Kirk fillets his fish. I don't know how to fillet a fish this way, but it sure looks pretty efficient to me. I hope to learn from Kirk someday. Automagic, watch how Kirk fillets a fish, maybe see if you can video his process.
The part that I wanted it to work on, worked perfectly, but I’ve got some more challenges by adding too many knives 🔪 I think it would just be easier to do the one fillet knife, and then just cope with the method that people have been using for decades
@@AutomagicFishing originally that house was just a façade and I think somebody from California bought it and actually built the rest of it ! The movie house hole is definitely iconic

Love seeing the Siletz, the cannery and river house. Caught My first chinook right there I think about 2006. Be there in October to try again.
That’s awesome, maybe I’ll see you out on the river
It was Paul Newman not Steve McQueen. .they hit our boat wake crossing the river and it splashed him. ..he laughed and waved. .great guy and actor.
Paul Newman!! Awesome movie
Fish bigger than my boat can handle. The scale of this is something else.
Had some serious fun trolling that water!!! Need to go again

Go get them man! Hope you get the fish that rips all your line after you’re real
I use the carpet blades for skinning out furs. Never tried them on fish. I’ll give it a shot.
Yeah, that might work
great video brian! So glad its salmon season now :)
Looking forward to seeing some of your Salmon videos coming up
@@AutomagicFishing I'll have one coming very soon :)

That’s a good idea
Usually, I do pretty well cutting fish, but I always like to look for ways to improve
Great episode, Brian. I thought you might have had a new technique that might have worked and great looking fish.

@@AutomagicFishinghow much did the eggs weigh. Those eggs looked very nice.
@@jeffstoeger2974 I didn’t weigh the eggs, but they’re both mostly full quart jars
Great photo of you and the fish while smiling.
Thank you 😊
Good times for sure! Nice kings!
That was extremely lucky 🍀 morning
My brother is a great guy, so glad he let you video.. that was a great day.
It was an awesome day, yes, I appreciate that. He let me do video and he definitely has the makings of the next movie star ⭐️!!!
Hey awesome video man
Thank you Nicholas! How has your year been fishing so far??
Steve, McQueen Henry Fonda, etc. great movie. I love it.
Cool you know that movie!! Back when acting really made you feel like they were really a true story and real family.

Yes Nita said you used her hot rod holder.. lol
For sure!! Thanks
Nice fish. A good batch of eggs. Watch every episode. Keep on fishing.
Thank you Bryan. Thanks for tuning into my videos! I makes a big difference for me that people watch and hopefully enjoy the adventures with me!
Nice Fish Brian It definitely don't hurt to try new ideas even if they don't work like you think you can still improve on that?
Yessir! Exactly
I’ll stick to my way I like turning a filet into steak
Yeah, I think that the idea I had wasn’t bad but getting it to work is a bit of a challenge
Where do I buy that knife?
I will go and put the Amazon link in the description for you if you want to purchase that hook, bladed knife
That is a coastal river that I have been on
It’s fishy
@@AutomagicFishing that river is very fishy
going to the river Wednesday
@@AutomagicFishing are you going in the morning?
