Offshore Jackpot!!! We Filled the Boat!
A friend of mine invited me and some friends on a 3/4 day offshore trip on his boat and we loaded up on fish! Red Snapper, Lane Snapper, Vermillion Snapper, Mangrove Snapper, Trigger Fish, Bonita, Amberjack, Lion Fish...we caught a little of everything and limited out on Red Snapper! It was a fantastic trip and I can't wait to do it again!

What Did I Catch At The Navarre Pier!?

It was a great day of fishing despite the 20 knot winds all day! The water was really rough and because of the wind, only one half of the pier was usable. I was using my new "budget" build consisting of a 7'6" MH KastKing Progressive Glass rod and my Kapstan SE 4000 with 30 pound Yo-Zuri Super Braid. I had this happen with one of my reels from kastking. Try to forcibly loosen it. My reel came tightened to the max

I'm not sure, I don't think it was on the box and I remember researching it and it was fine for this kayak but a larger kayak may be too heavy...upgrading the rope and lag bolts could help with a bigger load

Those things look really good for the money
They are surprisingly decent for the price! Wish there was only 1 clamp instead of 3 but these will work just as good as Plano.
Went like 2 feet in front of you just turn the brakes to zero and take the tension nob off. If you know how to use you thumb then you’ll be able to cast about 100+ feet 🤓

How long does it last though? In my experinece, nothing kastking offers is very durable at all.
What has been your experience?
In my experience, I own 18 or 19 KastKing reels and never had one break... only had 1 issues with a reel and I spoke with their reel expert and we fixed it.

Casted 30 ft with your brakes turned all the way up. Pretty much any bait caster will do this.
