That Maple Woods label looks like my backyard here in Massachusetts in the fall. I have to smell Kittens & Cashmere. I love Sweater Weather and fall fresh scents. Melanie found the blueberry candle very blueberry forward so I may have to try the daylight to see what I get.

I'm excited for Warm & Toasty, Maple Woods, Kittens & Cashmere & Salted Maple Pumpkin 🤗. I'm one who loves the boozy notes so I was hoping Bourbon Apple & Oud had the bourbon note present but then I love Oud so I'm a little torn with that one 😂.

Aw I have NO idea how you deal with that heat.. know it’s dry heat but that would still suck the life out of me 😂. I can’t even deal with anything over 80! Love these candles but I will definitely wait for a good sale. I have sooooooo many Fall candles from Kringle right now. Just gave my niece 3 Halloween candles from them yesterday as she loves them too. I will buy these in melts or daylights first. And I agree with the KCC line. I just buy the tumblers.

Hello Katie. Got some news about Firecracker Pop, it did get puny wicks however I poured some wax out and that seemed to help despite two wicks being lit. It's a nice berry fragrance, really sweet. Did you have a great 4th? I didn't do any fireworks, watched the neighbors do theirs while eating popcorn with the parents lol. Notes for Sand & Santal: Top: Aquatic, Citrus Mid: Neroli, Coconut Base: Lily, Musk. Yankee's Sun & Sand, Sand & Surf, American Home's Sunny Sands, and Elevation Sunlight Sands are all good, and smell like sand and sunscreen. Blood Orange and Banana Bread look like wonderful scents. I have Yankee's version and their generic Home Inspiration version called Banana Nut Bread., both smell good on cold. I'm burning Firecracker Pop with Yankee's Home Classics Island Getaway. High flame with the latter one. Happy burning. Fiji is amazing. I think you'll enjoy Woodwick's Fireside, Evening Bonfire, and Wood Smoke alongside with Nature's Wick Bonfire Log.

Thanks for the update! I received my reserve candles last week when it was very hot here on the east coast and the candles were a oily mess. So disappointed! I am very skeptical about ordering from the upcoming release because of the heat.

It sounds like, from Phillycandleman, that the marshmallow one is more like Yankees not BBW

KATIE!!!!! Omg I’m allergic to Goose Creek too!!! I discovered it about 5-6 years ago and I was sad. In those days GC’s customer service was BEYOND HORRIBLE and they treated me like I was crazy (tbh I thought I was - I had never reacted to any candle before). They made me pay for shipping back and only refunded me a percentage of what I bought. Needless to say, I’ve never bought them since. So strange! Like I said, I thought I was crazy, and how can I burn soooo many other candles and not have a problem? I’m super curious as to what we are reacting to. Mine was even more acute than yours. My eyes were weeping so much I couldn’t see 😢

I only use a candle lamp warmer. I cant burn any candles. Plug ins are dangerous esp. for animals

I’m glad you’re getting your money back. I totally get that certain candles can cause reactions, because it’s happened to me. When I talk about bad candle performance I almost never talk about my experiences with it because I figure people won’t get what I’m talking about if it never happened to them. It took a long time for me to realize it, but for a long time my eczema was flaring up especially around my eyes and when I stopped burning BBW candles it completely got better and went away and that’s when I made the correlation. After a half year I tried burning BBW again to see if the skin reactions would happen again and it did and they went away when I stopped. After almost two years of not burning any I tried melting a BBW candle in the candle crock and found thankfully melting the wax doesn’t cause reactions. I had mentioned before that last year I tried GC candles that they didn’t perform well and got sooty, but I didn’t mention they also made me cough while burning them too. I still will burn just a few candles in the fall and winter months, but anymore I rather keep good air quality in my home and not do things that can cause indoor air pollution. That’s why I primarily melt wax melts, use the candle crock, or chop up candles for melting rather than burning candles. I also don’t have to think about candle burn performance issues when I am melting them instead.

*gasp* Goose Creek has been making Katie less joyful - it has to go! To be honest with you, for some reason this didn’t surprise me. I’ve been enjoying Goose Creek for the most part, but it is pretty obvious they are using a pretty low-quality wax formula. That’s just my theory. The benefit of this formula is obviously that they are some of the strongest candles around. A downfall of this is that they are more sooty, and more likely to bother people with sensitivities. The thing about candles is that there is always a trade-off. The good news is that you figured this out quickly - and GC was chill about your returns! Most of us have a candle brand that we just don’t buy/cover for one reason or another. What’s important is your health. I love your declutter video! I think it’s helpful to know how other candle lovers deal with this stuff. I don’t count candles, I limit myself by space. I have one closet, and one deep storage situation. There has to space in either of those places or I’m not allowed anymore lol. Quite frankly, I don’t ever want to count them 😂😂😂 🙈 🙈 🙈

Hi Katie, love it how RUclips seems to randomly take my comments down or there's a glitch where my comments don't show up. I like Goose Creek, haven't done many but have enjoyed the few that I've burned. First Autumn Frost, Patchouli Leaves, Angel Food Cake for example in their retired large double wick apothecary jars were great.

This was a pearl clutcher. I'm sorry about your Goose Creek reaction. I've been hit or miss with their candles and was looking forward to those reviews to see if it matched my experience or not. I'll check out your friend's channel. I don't have nearly as many candles as you, but I did finish 6, so I felt proud of myself taking the empty glass jars to the county glass recycling. I finished 2 kringle fruit candles, they were ok but not amazing.

I feel the same way about BBW candles. It burns my nose and sinuses so much. I may have to give away the 40 some BBW candles I have.

Love her review's and how helpful it is that we have really similar taste in scents. Also i want to say i appreciate your honesty. Only 92 candles in the beginning of June? Wow, I still have in the 200's somewhere, my decluttering method is burning two candles at once here in the bedroom. I'll be missing out on the new scents to me from BBW and other brands. I do give away to family at times some candles I don't need or have a backup. The last one I gave away was my backup of Yankee's Balsam Forest, which I highly recommend during Christmas. Congrats on accepting being a moderator on their Facebook page, sounds fun. I'm pairing Yankee's Beach Walk with Homeworx Basket Of Apples (solid 8, which drowns out the other fragrance). Purchased it at T.J. Maxx two weeks ago with Limoncello Cupcake. Have a happy 4th! I'll be lighting some fireworks this Thursday. BBW Firecracker Pop will be burned that day. Happy burning. Sorry to hear about your sinus pain. Hope you find another brand that suits you. Fab video Katie! I also loved Homeworx Valencia Orange. Vanilla Coconut Surf was definitely a winner! Unfortunately I don’t buy from Kringle for several reasons, the main one being their shipping charges to Canada are ridiculous (I’m talking $90 S&H charge for 2-3 candles). I’ve emailed them about this asking why but have never heard back. Last time I was in Palm Springs I placed an order and it didn’t show up in the two weeks I was there 😢 so I told a friend to keep them.

I've been loving Kringle's Ice Cream Sandwiches and BBW Hummingbird Tea Cake. So good! And, yes, it's so crazy that half the year is gone already! I'm excited to see all the autumn candles 🎃🍂💜

At BBW today, bought a backup of Autumn Woods, Pumpkin Apple, Cranberry & Gala Apple, Caramel Pumpkin Swirl, Marshmallow Fireside, and Pumpkin Pecan Waffles. Looks like Fall this year will be great with more scent varieties. Happy burning. I picked up Yankee's Colorful Curacao and St. Lucia Skies candles at Target, the last of the Carefree Caribbean Collection. So excited.

This year is zooming by so fast! I like empties videos as long as the reviewer is a seasonal burner, since I am one. The Santorini Coast smelled light on cold at my store. Does it get stronger or is it more of a background candle?

I totally agree about Santorini Coast. It is such a great vanilla I’m trying to stock up so I can use them with some fall scents. Sounds crazy but I think it might go well with a few.
