Key Lime Cake Pop Fragrance Notes
Juicy Lime, Cake Batter, Vanilla Icing, Sparkling Sugar
My home is an 1800 square foot, single story house that was built in 2004. It is a typical, early 2000's American style home with an open concept living room and kitchen with more closed concept bedrooms. The ceiling height in the living room is approximately 20 feet high and it is the largest room in the house. The bedroom and kitchen ceiling height is approximately 9 feet.
I reside in Arizona, which is a hot and dry climate (most of the time). Winters are considered mild in comparison to other parts of the northern U.S. I am currently running my air conditioning and ceiling fans around the clock and will likely be doing so until early October. Ambient internal temperature averages about 77 degrees right now.
Please take all of these factors into account when you hear my opinion about how well a candle performs in the area of strength and throw.

Your son was spot on! Definitely smells like fruit loops 😊. It's one of my favorites from Goose Creek. I don't get the Kerosene smell but mine is from last year's packaging. Great review!
Definitely want this one. I hope Wal-Mart will get the candle, from time to time they switch out their candle scents, I'll see a new release or two for Woodwick or Yankee for example there. Kerosene isn't cool. Fruit loops! Wonderful. Nice review, saved by your son. Hope they'll start switching Goose Creek soon. Coconut Pina Colada was a nice scent. I'll be starting BBW Palo Santo with that light woody smell. Happy burning.
I've never picked up any kerosene from this one. I've burned it multiple years, and this year's version is 2/3 burned. I like this one, but I like their Key Lime Gelato better.
I hope my Walmart gets this scent in the wax melt form💚
I have never in 3 years got a kerosene odor.i do have this packaging and have not burned it yet. We shall see...
:( damn now this is my only problem with gc. They seem to have some noticeable batch issues. Ive had tons of KLCP and never had kerosene from it. BUT i did order glazed apple donut and lets stay home last fall and mine totally did have that chemical smell. Nobody elses did so clearly bad batches going on. 😢 Ill keep buying because i love the throw they give and their scents but better believe when they give me a bad one im getting a refund! I hope you reached out to them! Even the throw on yours seems off. I dont think ive ever had one that wasnt a 10. KLCP is normally legit nuclear. And yes i agree its not exactly lime cake. To me it smells like froot loops which makes me very happy lol
Yeah, I honestly don’t know what went wrong with this one for me because I LOVED it on cold sniff 😒
I have this candle but from last years version. I’ve burned most of it. No kerosine smell with the one I have. But… I have had others from GC that were just horrible. Example..Caramel Apple Lane. Purchased in 2023. Even tried it under a warmer lamp and It was still terrible and I had to throw it out. 😟
