My home is an 1800 square foot, single story house that was built in 2004. It is a typical, early 2000's American style home with an open concept living room and kitchen with more closed concept bedrooms. The ceiling height in the living room is approximately 20 feet high and it is the largest room in the house. The bedroom and kitchen ceiling height is approximately 9 feet.
I reside in Arizona, which is a hot and dry climate (most of the time). Winters are considered mild in comparison to other parts of the northern U.S. I am currently running my air conditioning and ceiling fans around the clock and will likely be doing so until early October. Ambient internal temperature averages about 77 degrees right now.
Please take all of these factors into account when you hear my opinion about how well a candle performs in the area of strength and throw.

I love Pink Beach by GC, which is a Yankee Pink Sands dupe, but with far better performance. One of my all-time favorite GC scents is French Autumn. It was gone for about 4 or 5 years and just was brought back last year. I still love the scent, but the performance on the new ones are not as good as it was. It's just lighter than it used to be.

Thanks for the review. I haven’t bought goose creek candles in over a year. I take it goose creek candles are still the same they haven’t changed.
Like I said before I rather pay more for quality over quantity.

I agree with you. As a reviewer, I’m in a little different boat, but honestly if I didn’t have my channel, I’d probably allocate most $ to Kringle & Homeworx.

I have this one but haven't burned it yet. I have other very similar scents from other companies (just finished Homeworx Banana Daiquiri which is for all intents and purposes the same scent as is BBW Under the Sun and they've had other names in the past again same scent. I was hoping it was a different scent but after it arrived i saw it was the same. If its light i may give it for a gift before i bother burning it or just save it for next year.

I haven't experienced sootiness with mine yet, hopefully it stays that way 🤞🏼. I do agree with the over-all scent and strength & throw portion of your review 😊.

I really didn’t get bergamot in this candle either. Most of the fragrances in this line are very base. We had a similar experience, I found mine a bit stronger though, probably due to our spaces. Great review!

Yeah, mine was pretty weak & I remember you said yours was strong. Probably different home layouts & environment & maybe even batch numbers 🤔

Sorry to hear that this is was a disappointment. Goose Creek can be a hit or miss just like other brands. Hope other candles will do better.
