Some of these I would have passed on if I had been able to smell them before buying. Clementine Sunrise (light scent), London Fog (soapy scent), and Sweet Tiramisu (light scent) are a pass for me.
Morning, Mr. Eric. Very nice video. The croissant candle makes me think of the French Bread candle BBW had years ago. It literally smelled like a loaf of bread! Lovely. Hi Naz! This 6 for $60 sale is pretty good deal for the newer candles. I believe you are right, the wilderness collection came out at the end of April. I loved the artwork they did for that collection. Hopefully they will come out with some more candles before it gets to hot for shipping.
Another great haul Eric and they look exciting. Anything citrus 👍🏻👍🏻 the Orange Grove Tree and the Gelato ones sound so good. I haven’t bought GC in years because they sooted so badly, I’m wondering if it’s still the same. Hopefully some of your viewers will give opinions. Pauline.
Hi Pauline, in the past GC had a sooting issue for sure. I think they have gotten that issue resolved. I've been burning the GC candles for a while now and no sooty wax or smokey candles so far.😊
Love your haul! I too got a powdery scent on cold sniff with London Fog. It died down after the first burn, thank goodness. I purchased two as well hoping it would be an authentic Chamomile Tea fragrance but I got light citrus & no Chamomile with a powdery tea note. It's not terrible while burning but I don't plan to repurchase it.

Hi Jeanne😀👋, The one candle I was disappointed with was London Fog. I was really hoping it smelled more like Earl Grey. To me, it has an odd soapy smell on cold. Hopefully that goes away when I burn it. Great sale to pick up some candles. Fingers crossed they arrive to your house with no issues!😀🤞
Well that seals it. I have been praying for a London fog candle for as long as I can remember, so that is so disappointing! It's really surprising to me that they couldn't get it right considering Earl Gray tea has a fruit loop kind of scent due to the bergamot oil. And I know they can do a good black tea scent. So how on Earth They couldn't get that right? Im so saddened 😭
I was so disappointed with London Fog. I thought, why in the world is there a soapy fragrance in this candle. It smells like tea and dish soap. Now, to be fair, I haven't burned it yet. So it might be ok, but I have my reservations.😒

Ugh buying blind sucks! Hope it's better burned.. but I'm gonna have to skip it. You and Sommer both said it didn't smell authentic 😭 and I trust you both.

Hi Eric, I laughed so hard with the boring segment that my coffee came out my nose. ( gross) Thank you I needed that huge laugh. I skipped this sale. Trying to burn. Today's burn is caramel hazelnut latte from kohl's. Heavy on the caramel. I wanted more hazelnut. Not a bad throw. Tiramisu is slightly stronger. I did a video on that. Last week the collaboration collections were also included in the sale. For a while those collections were $11 something. I like to check their website to see what sale they have going on since they change it up often. I have the London candle. I like it for what it is. It does remind me of soap.

London Fog was a disappointment for me. Had this odd soapy smell that I just can't get past. Sweet Tiramisu is very light smelling on cold. Aranciato Gelato smells really good! Like a creamy orange scent.😀
I picked up many of the ones you did . I must say even when the GC candles are a little light on cold ,they come alive while burning. I am loving the Sweet Tiramisu candle and the Clementine Sunrise woke up a bit while burning ,it has a decent scent throw (mine did in an open concept) Bakehouse Croissant is a very relaxing scent while burning and strong !. I had heard some not so great reviews about Arranciata (that its basic?) but I would have loved a creamy vanilla orange scent .Do you think I need that one ? Orange Grove I haven't burned yet but it smells a bit grapefruity (which I am ok with ) I picked up Georgia Peach and Peach Rings too . I am wondering if I should pick up the Guava scent and the one that has the beach balls on it Beach Party ? You could really go crazy ... What are your top receommendations ? Thankyou for a great GC video I am into them lately even though shipping is a fortune along with exchange rate to Canada .
You really can go crazy with GC candles! There are so many choices and they keep bringing out new ones every several weeks.😂 One of my favorites right now is the Iced Sweet Tea! It has a great sweet tea scent that fills the room. I love Orange Grove Tree, but I really enjoy anything grapefruit and orange. I just ordered Seaside Mango, that one sounded interesting to me. I love Cafe Ole', Georgia Peach, Willow Tree Lane is nice for spring. So many it gets crazy, but I love it!😀

The scent notes are a little out of my wheelhouse but my daughter is getting married next year under a willow tree actually so I am thinking hard about getting it for that reason.. Is it floral ? I was hoping for more of an earl grey tea scent as well. Wasn't quite what I was expecting. For some reason they smell kinda soapy to me on cold.
