My home is an 1800 square foot, single story house that was built in 2004. It is a typical, early 2000's American style home with an open concept living room and kitchen with more closed concept bedrooms. The ceiling height in the living room is approximately 20 feet high and it is the largest room in the house. The bedroom and kitchen ceiling height is approximately 9 feet.
I reside in Arizona, which is a hot and dry climate (most of the time). Winters are considered mild in comparison to other parts of the northern U.S. I am currently running my air conditioning and ceiling fans around the clock and will likely be doing so until early October.
Please take all of these factors into account when you hear my opinion about how well a candle performs in the area of strength and throw.

I completely agree about basic candle maintenance. People are basically saying, "I think everything should be perfect and defy science for me." That's not reality.

Wow, that's an HUGE wax pool from just an hour's worth of burning. These new Reserve candles are not going to last as long as they should. A bit concerning given the price point. I am on the fence with a few of them. Merlot is currently my top pick. Thanks for the review. 💜
It’s kind of strange because my Gingered Peach isn’t burning as fast. Yes, these wicks burn hotter but I notice that with trimming & as the wax pool goes down, they’re not as hot. I also wonder if the ambient temp in my house being warmer than average impacts things?🤔
I wouldn't think that would make a significant impact so long as the home was within normal comfort range. Mentioned it before, I live in Texas, so you & I have similar weather. I haven't noticed any of my more current Kringle candles burning hotter this month. With the exception of Banana Bread from that last launch. It's burning hot but not getting that big of a wax pool. Some of the Easter candles were doing that and I did notice they did not last as long as normal. So sad because I LOVEEEEE Easter Brunch. I'm the one who keeps harping for Kringle to bring it back as Sunday Brunch! 😆
@@Angel-Dawn-13 I’m honestly just as baffled as to why some are burning hotter than others. I’m so glad I have one more Easter Brunch in my collection. That one definitely needs to come back!

@@katiesjoyfullifeEaster Brunch is my all time favorite scent. It makes a delicious treat in the house and I like to burn it with any other scent and get a fruity croissant or chocolate croissant. So delicious!

You’re welcome! PB & J is definitely authentic, but if you let it burn too long (more than 3 hours),it can start to smell scorched. Trimming the wicks is a must on that one.
