- These are all the scented wax melts I own. I don't sell them, I just collect and use them. In this video I take out each individual melt to show you the label. Since I have SO much wax (well over 600 melts), I don't go into details about each scent. However, I do provide reviews of a lot of scents on our website at www.scentedwaxr.... And of course you can join our Facebook Group to discuss retail (store-bought) brands of scented wax melts, like ScentSationals, Better Homes & Gardens, Glade, Yankee, etc.
I am absolutely amazed that you were able to acquire such a lovely collection in only a year and a half! Love this!!Would love a wall of wax myself!
How did I get here.....
Omg!!! I understand!😩
I can smell em thru my📱
I’am a collector as well!
Great presentation!💗🕯💗
Totally jealous and love that your so organized❤️Totally inspiring
Love how you have everything categorized. Whatever you're in the mood for, you can go right to it.
You should apply for Guinness record. 😆
Love this collection! Thanks for taking the time out to show everything!
i’m going to need an updated one!! i love these videos so much
I keep meaning to do that, but I get so many new wax melts every few days that I can't keep up. Plus with 8 cats, it's impossible to keep the cat hair at bay and I don't want to take a video with wax melts full of cat hair, lol!
I adore your website and your reviews. This was exactly what I was looking for, someone who loves wax melts!
Thank you so much! If you haven't done so already, please join our Facebook group at facebook.com/groups/scentedwaxretail!
Thanks! If you haven't done so yet, and you're in the U.S., please join our discussion group at facebook.com/groups/scentedwaxretail. We have over 1,400 members!
I'm literally getting myself situated to watch this whole video lol I'm a new wax addict starting in November 2016 so I have a lot of catching up to do!
If you haven't yet done so, please join our Scented Wax Melts Retail Store Bought Facebook group, to discuss all store-bought wax melt brands like ScentSationals, Better Homes & Gardens, Goose Creek, Yankee, Sonoma, Tuscany, and lots more! No vendor wax discussions. U.S. residents only. facebook.com/groups/scentedwaxretail/
Amazing collection and such great storage!
+heidiu2scrap Thank you!
Please do tell that this place where you keep your wax melts is in s block or bricked area. I'm glad you keep them which looks like a fire retardant cabinet. I pray for your home to let no fire happen to it at all but can you imagine all the melted wax coming out all over the place but I can bet you one thing it will smell fabulous!!!!!
Wax is actually not a fire hazard, and they don't ever come into contact with flames. Nobody here smokes either. I've actually thought about tossing old unwanted wax in the fire when I have bonfires on my property, just to see how it would smell!
Oh my gosh! I love scented wax melts too!!! Great video!
I only have 18 so far but I love my wax warmer and my waxes I use my diffuser more though but I mainly love the manly scents because I get lonely a lot and it helps me relax XD
hahaha when you tried to pronounce "dulce de leche" its actually a hispanic desert, it means pastry of milk. its really good it tastes like condensed milk. thank you for the video! so cool!
+Katt Reviews Yeah I know, I should have watched this video before I attempted to pronounce that, lol! ruclips.net/video/bj2aKn9DnV8/видео.html (it sounds WAY better when he says it!)
I too live quite close to the U.S. border, and lastnight had sent a request for membership to your Facebook page. I mentioned that I was in Canada, and that I would only discuss U.S. brands, as you had requested from the other Canadian gal on here. I tried to be as polite as I could possibly be in my request, and I was quite excited to check to see if I had been granted admission today. Sadly for me the scentedwaxretail group was nowhere to be seen this morning, because I had been completely blocked! What's up with that?
Is your name Karen? If so, I just unblocked you, so you can request to join again and I will approve it. Sorry, I didn't receive any of the answers to the sign-up questions, including any mention that you would discuss U.S. brands; otherwise, I would have approved your request. We do have a couple of Canadian members in the group that joined years ago and I've "grandfathered" in, but more and more non-U.S. members started joining last year and posting about scents that U.S. members couldn't get. And then U.S. members started leaving! So that's why I had to stop allowing non-U.S. members into the group. But we do like seeing posts about non-U.S. wax brands and scents occasionally since it keeps things interesting!
This collection is amazing. I don’t know how you remember that you’ve smelled one before! I’ve just started to get back into wax melting after a long, long hiatus and I’m already building quite a collection. Do you find that you have no problem with the scents disappearing after you’ve owned them for such a long time? I worry about that but hope not!
Some scents start to dissipate after a few months, some after a few years, and some last many years. I still have many scents that are still crazy strong after 8 years! It depends on the brand, the scent itself, the specific batch, and of course how well they're stored (away from heat and natural light). Shortly after taking that video, I bought a bunch of file cabinets so all my wax melts are stored properly.
Wow! So organized! I love "coal" by Scentsationals, but I can't find any and Walmart didn't have it this year at our store. I think it smells the best of all the scents that Walmart puts out. Would you happen to know where I could order some? I've looked on Ebay and Amazon, but not there. Thank you.
I wish I could find ScentSationals Coal again too, because it's fantastic. And I just used my last cube a few weeks ago! Unfortunately it was discontinued years ago and I haven't found any dupes.
Dulce de leche means "Candy of milk." It's Spanish. Good stuff. (I loved your Happy Wax review, btw)
love your collection and your storage units are impressive. Luckily I only have a small drawer for my collection. I was wondering if you have any videos showing what you have finished using up? By the way I subscribed.
Thanks, Vicky! Like "wax empties" videos. Not specifically, but I do reviews for a lot of scents after I melt them. Mostly text reviews, but some video reviews as well. They can be found at www.scentedwaxreviews.com. And if you haven't done so yet, and you're in the U.S., please join our discussion group at facebook.com/groups/scentedwaxretail. We have over 1,400 members!
Wow....wax heaven. So jealous.
Awesome collection 👏👏👏it's Dulce de leche that's Spanish!😀😀
I wish I knew what it is like to have many wax melts but I don't .
Amazing collection, I'm in love!
I'm so jelly! 💓
I find when the wax melts I have purchased get over a year or two old, they get discolored (fade or lose color) and the aroma fades or becomes "off"....do you notice that?
I very rarely experience that. If they're kept in a dark, fairly cool area (away from heaters and sunlight), they can last for years. I only just got into wax melts in 2014, and many of the ones I bought back then still look and smell and throw just fine. It also depends on the brand and the scent itself. If they lose color, generally that won't affect the scent or the throw. Sometimes really old wax takes on a "waxy" note, which may or may not be apparent during melting.
im surprised I didnt see any scentsy wax melts. theyre by far the best compared to ones you purchase at walmart.
+London Rain Scentsy is massively overpriced, and the quality is not any better than store bought wax melts. The people that say otherwise are usually Scentsy sales reps, because they make commission on sales. Would you rather pay $2 at Walmart, where you can actually sniff the wax and not feel pressured to buy? Or would you rather pay $5 (plus high shipping fees) for almost the same amount of wax, some of that fee which is used to pay the sales rep their commission, but most of which lines the pockets of the Scentsy bigwigs? Don't believe the hype, people, or the unscrupulous Scentsy salespeople who only care about making their commission. Save your money.
I really wish someone would do a root beer scent a cola scent and a Dr Pepper scent.
Adult coloring book colorists have addictions to coloring books and colored pencils. Don't worry. You're ok. Question is do you use the ones you have or just buy new ones?
Oh I have WAY more than these now, lol!! And I'm always buying new ones. I use old ones too. And if I start getting too many or I get tired of a scent, I sell them in my Facebook group and donate the proceeds to Petco Love Foundation. So everyone wins!
@@waxmeltreviews good deal.
omg im obsessed with your collection 😍😍
That video was taken in September 2015. I have almost double that now, like 1,200 melts! It's a sickness, lol!!
Omg why did I watch this? I need to go to Walmart. lol love your collection.
how long do they last and is it better to keep them in a dark place?
+LondonCallingxx Thank you! They can last several years, depending on the brand and scent. ScentSationals, AmbiEscents, and Better Homes & Gardens (all made by Rimports) tend to last the longest of all the brands. Yes, it's best to keep them in a dark place, preferably in a closet or drawer where they're not exposed to too much air or temperature variations.
I absolutely love this vid. I should show it to my partner to justify buying more wax as he thinks I have a lot. (He would strongly disagree with me buying more though lol! 😝).
I definitely have a problem, lol!
@@waxmeltreviews I see no issues here!
Hi there,
I was just reading through the membership info on your Facebook page and I was wondering why people outside of the US will not be approved? I like right near the border and do a lot of my shopping in the states and would be really interested in reading the discussions on the page.
Thank you!
Taylor
I do have a couple of people in the group that are outside the U.S., especially Canada, but they're "grandfathered in" since they've been in there a long time. I've discovered that it makes things confusing when someone outside the U.S. is raving about a wax brand or scent, but the 95% or so members who are in the U.S. can't get it. If you're in Canada and want to discuss U.S. brands only, please, absolutely join us!
can u please post the brand names ware u bought each one
Oh that would be a very, very long post! Just head on over to www.waxmeltreviews.com to read reviews on lots of retail wax melts and where to find them!
ScentedWaxReviews
Hi.. How many wax melts do you have so far??
Great Commentary!!💗
@@taurus_beauty11-11 1,250 different wax melts, NOT including all my duplicates, which might be another 1,800!
Hopefully you warm these
😆
Whats your favorite brand?
+Simply Bri Graham ScentSationals, hands down! ScentSationals also makes Better Homes & Gardens (at Walmart) and AmbiEscents (at Bed Bath & Beyond), and all 3 brands have fantastic scents and throw. I also like Sonoma (at Kohl's) and Tuscany, and their holiday scents have been amazing. We discuss all of these retail wax brands on our Facebook group at facebook.com/groups/scentedwaxretail. Come join us!
Hi this is erica from your fb group, it's so cool, and sad to see all of the scents I didn't even know ever existed :( I've always wondered how you kept so much wax too, great idea! That's for sharing Teri
40:39 Orange Scream? Squirrel?
I can't say "Orange Cream Swirl" for the life of me!!! lol
ScentedWaxReviews lol Yeah, me either. It is a tongue twister.
Damnnnnn mama!!! Shoot!! How many waxes do you think you got!!! Nice collection
+munchkin byooms At the time of this video in September, around 550 I think. Now 4 months later, around 850. There's a girl who just joined our Facebook group who just discovered scented wax 3 weeks ago. In 3 weeks she has amassed 500 clamshells. Now THAT'S impressive!!
+ScentedWaxReviews wow love your collection!!! hahaha ms Teri that girl is me who recently joined your fb group and already own 500 🤗🤗🤗🤗
munchkin byooms she spent $1000 and more on wax???? Wish a lot of us could do that.
Just seeing this 6 yrs later, nearly. Wow, quite a collection, as a healer many don't like sage or incense, so I do make my own wax melts. Which hopefully you are doing by now :-) Agree on the Guiness Record comment. We all have our thing and hopefully you're making your own products by now. Best wishes.
Omg!!! I think this is excessive!.. but I also understand.. I love having my own inventory.
Is there any scent you don’t like?.. I don’t like the sugary sweet pumpkin ugh! smells...I only like the linen, fresh scents or flowers.
Those names are so inviting tho, hahah
Oh this is an old video... I have WAY more wax melts now!! I prefer very sweet scents. Not a huge fan of bakery or spicy scents though.
So far, the worst one I ran across is cotton candy cloud by sensationals. It barely smells like anything. Don't buy it! 😓
Why not make your own. Its even more addicting buying Fragrance oils to make wax tarts, endless possibilities.
I would love to, but it's every time consuming and expensive!
ScentedWaxReviews im in uk and i make my own. To buy costs £3+ to make costs £0.60p and takes 30 mins 😊
Hello je suis Carol de Nice France excellente vidéo en France no scentational 😤😭 bonne continuation félicitation 👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻❤️
+CaFR TeamElite Thank you! It's too bad you don't have ScentSationals in France, but you do have Goose Creek which is very good!
Lol wax porn! 🤣🤣🤣❤
Loved wax melts! I was obsessed for the longest time. That being said until I did research after I had started having headaches constantly and breathing and sinus problems. Come to find out after research and speaking to doctors...no matter if the ingredients in the wax are "natural" or not it is so bad for your health. She smell of the wax in the air is just that in the air. You breathe it in and its damaging to the body in many ways. So upon doctors advice I removed my warmers and wax bars from the house brought in air purifiers to cleanup the air in the house and left windows open for days. All symptoms gone! All the headaches and little things that I just chalked up to normal "health inconveniences". Gone!! Havent returned since. I started starting simmering a mixture of spice and fresh fruit on the stove once in awhile but other than that. No more "air fresheners". Who knew something I was doing seemingly innocent was affect my and my families health. Just fyi.
Definitely if you're experiencing unexplainable symptoms like headaches, sinus trouble, etc., start eliminating some things, like certain foods, air fresheners, etc. Some people are more sensitive to chemicals and scents than others. In our Facebook group there are lots of people who get migraines or stomach aches from a certain scent. But most have no problems with them. I do have allergies, but I've had them all my life, long before I started with scents! Maybe I'll take a "scent-free weekend" and see how I feel!
Hate to break it to ya but u breathing in toxins everywhere no matter what lmao
Do they expire?
Some of them do, but most I've had for many years and they're still just as strong. ScentSationals and Better Homes & Gardens melts tend to last the longest, as well as Goose Creek, Hanna's Candle, Sonoma from Kohl's, and even some Scentsy.
WOW.....
Mainstays Purple Sands is the best Mainstays scent
#waxgoals
Is it Mr or do they lose scent after a while if not used?
It depends on the brand, scent, and how they're stored. I find that Rimports brands (ScentSationals, AmbiEscents, Better Homes & Gardens), Goose Creek Candle, and Hanna's Candle wax melts last the longest. I've had some scents for almost 10 years that are still crazy strong! But I also have some scents that started changing or getting weak after only 6 months.
WOW I just started burning it
Omg if you are trying to make some room you should give me some 😍
amazing wax collection definitely wax porn!! noticed no scentsy have you ever tried scentsy or just not into it? they have some scents that i haven't found anywhere else their "thunderstorm " is probably the best true thunderstorm wax i have smelled
+AtheS perfume I've tried a few Scentsy bars, and for the most part they weren't any better than ScentSationals and Better Homes & Gardens at Walmart, in terms of scent quality and throw. But they're really expensive, like double the amount, plus high shipping charges. So for those reasons Scentsy is not my cup of tea, and a lot of people in our Facebook group concur. Wish they were cheaper though!
I finally did try Scentsy shortly after posting this comment about not having tried Scentsy. I have a couple of reviews either here on RUclips or on my scentedwaxreviews.com website.
dead serious too 😁
This is ridiculous
Lol I’am addicted to wax melts as well!🥴🤦🏼♀️🤗
