Love it. Thank you so much
🙏🙏🙏🙌🙌🙌👏👏👏
Thank you so much Dr. Katie! I have been suffering Trochanteric Bursitis the last few months. It sidelined me from my regular pickleball addiction! Your exercises got me back on the court after three weeks! I appreciate your course of treatment. I am continuing the exercises to maintain my strength and flexibility. You are the Best!
Really helpful 👍
so what does it mean if you do all these for 3 months and still when you walk for short distances and stand for short periods you still get severe pain and have to sit or lay down?
Thank you, thank you, thank you. I had to have knee surgery from doing a lunge wrong. Not only that it was A jumping lunge. After surgery I did P.T. and no one gave me the tips you just did.
Brilliant! 👏 Genius. 🎯 You are an angel. 🦋
Thank you. That was very helpful. Will try to do these exercises daily❤
Great video! Going to explore aqua therapy for a shoulder pain🤞. Thank you!
My hands felt better after one set. 😅
I just tried her exercises and I can tell an immediate relief ❤
Great video, and not only for seniors! I came across it accidentally but I found out it is a gem. Your explanations are appreciated and much helpful! Thank you!
Thank you…😊
I’m 76 and have been doing your exercises for almost daily about a month. It has definitely been helpful with my neck pain that would really be somewhat severe especially when I moved my neck up or down where the pain would travel to the top of my head. Hopefully this will be a help to others in my age group as well 😊
Thank you so much ❤
All of these maneuvers are illegal because you are in the kitchen
Even this first time the exercise reduced my discomfort 😊
Are you lifting your legs in the Swan? It looks as if you are, but you don't refer to it.
@@elenalatici9568 no you can keep the legs down, great question!
i may or may not be in my early 20s (lol) but I'm definitely in bad shape because i have numerous types of chronic pain and it is sometimes difficult to do more advanced exercises. so i come to exercises for seniors to help me in the meantime.
Thank you so much
Wow, thank you.
Hello, I watched your RUclips video and noticed it ranks lower than others.I was analyzing your RUclips channel. The Senior Centered PT struggling with subscribers and video views for monetization? SEO seems to be lacking, though your content is fantastic. Wondering why your videos aren't attracting more views? One key factor is the insufficient SEO (your videos' SEO score is 0/100%, ideally it should be 70%).if you'd like, I can assist you with improving it ,I can help you grow your RUclips channel & your business. Had total hip replacement at 65 after a tragic tripping incident through garage thresh hold onto floor. Because of my really good health and age a full replacement was recommend. I am just over 1 month out of surgery with home PT. It has just ended and now I am visiting put on site….intake first meeting done and tomorrow I start. I am walking well using Walker…. just started on cane. Had a couple of drop with PT a with surgery side knee as It just kind of let go……I am unable to kick out my leg when seated or left leg in a March on my back. I can March walking, and my walking is great just getting used to feeling strong again. I was always very strong and full of energy and lifting and garden8ng and walking….very active so just trying to engage that muscle(s) for kick out action. Suggestions?
@@diannajohnston4558 I’m so sorry to hear about that incident and glad you’re through that and the surgery! While I always recommend speaking directly to your physical therapist, some exercises that I find effective for clients who are having difficulty with strength through full range of motion is doing isometric exercises- I would ask your PT what they think about that
Thank you for sharing this great video. I have been doing water walking in our pool after my normal morning walk with friends, I’m up to 20 minutes pool walking but want to add in more resistance training also and my husband said this morning he would like to join me in the evening, YAY, so this is perfect for senior beginners!
excellent - its my first time here... (and first time as a senior, too)
She's very articulate on explaining exercises and what you should feel
Thank you for sharing your tips🙏
Thanks for these! Not a senior but will try these out.
great video.Thank you❤❤👏👏🙏
My first time, good
I have found sit ups to be a big help. I’ve had sciatica since 1991. I bought an attachment that clamps on to the bottom of a door to help me. You place your feet under it to aid in pulling yourself up. I do 100 sit-ups every morning. No more soft work outs like they run you through in physical therapy. This really works for me.
Hello, do you offer a full exercise program for seniors? Thx
@@ryarya3291 hi! I don’t have that yet but one day would love to, that’s a great idea!

Wonderful! So glad to hear!
This was recommended to me by my spine and pain doctor. I'm hoping it will improve my functionality.
I’m so glad to hear your doctor recommended it and I hope it helps!
Thank you for your video. Some Dr say NO stretching especially no crossing legs. Why is there such a big difference of opinion? Also, is it bad to lift objects.
Yeah so there’s different practitioners which have different expertise which can lead to different opinions. Also, crossing the legs to stretch or find space is different than crossing the legs while sitting which can lead to increased tightness/pain. Ultimately, if a movement is causing you pain (no matter who recommends it) you should ditch that exercise/movement. I would say it’s just important to lift with good form whether someone has bursitis or not- so making sure bending ones legs, not rounding in the back, and breathing while lifting- hope that helps! And as always, check in with your provider before doing any activity 😊
Terrific❤
Can some of these be good for babies?
This is a great question! And while I can’t say for sure because I’m not an expert in this area, I think there mats that people make/use for babies to help with development
Actually, these exercises DO help! Much better than my current therapist. Thanks for this!
I’m so glad they’re helpful! Thank you for your feedback!
Necesitaba esto tanto Dios bendiga su vida y su existencia y gracias por subir esto tsn bello ,para nuestra sanacion, emocional, ,😊😊😊❤❤❤

Love your videos because this is very important stuff. I found your channel looking for how to relieve knee pain, and then I had to peruse all your vids. Hope you continue to provide this valuable information to us seniors. I love your dog's reactions!
I’m so glad you found our site! And thank you so much for your kind feedback! It really helps me to know that what I do is important!
Recently completed the training and am teaching. I agree completely- such a wonderful program
My doctor said fluid around the bursa is the reason for hip bursitis and there is no way to get rid of the fluid. Why don't all these exercise instructors mention that. I have done every exercise in the book and NOTHING helps.
I agree My doctor prescribed PT; it made me WORSE.
I agree My doctor prescribed PT; it made me WORSE.
From what I understand the bursa is inflamed because the other muscles around it have decided to not work like they should. Therefore the tendon that floats over the bursa causes inflammation of the bursa. The exercises are to wake up the muscles that are not doing their job which will allow the bursa to heal. It took awhile to get here and it will take awhile to recover. If you completely stop then it will get worse. Good luck in your pursuit of health ♥️
Is this the same as stiff thighs?
Thank you!
