no way!!! I saw your car and took pictures of it since it had the unplugged performance brakes. This had to have been a while back since it was grey, I believe it had bronze wheels as well. I didnt even know you had a youtube channel, I saw it in the feed and thought it was someone else. I also saw your model x when it was that army green with the black rims. PLAIDAF2 license plate. Thats you right? Awesome channel keep it up.

Mine doesn’t fit. I can get 3 out of 4 mounting points to line up, then the last one is about 1/8” off and impossible to line up.

My suggestion, FWIW, for any future removal of parts adhered to the car w/3M VHB tape -- use fishing line or dental floss in a sawing motion behind item works well. Your knife scares me. :) Also, installing that wing "wet" would prove to be much easier -- just using a light spray of your alcohol/water solution on the trunk would allow some flexibility for position adjustment before the tape sets up -- once in your desired position apply pressure. The solution will evaporate quickly on its own or you can apply heat via a heat gun (on a low setting) or use a hair dryer to speed up the process.

lol, Tesla faked the fixed caliper look by putting a cover on the floating caliper……cheap…i love how they put dual caliper on the rear b4, now it is all about cost cutting, even on the high end model s and x….shame

Tip: Align with painters tape first, then lift and pull the edges of the tape out to the side.

Great driving. You are absolutely correct! Too many guys get on track in the first session and try to go balls to the wall. It's always smart to shake down equipment to check how the setup and tire pressures feel. It's nice that your car is quiet so we can hear that beautiful flat 6 😜

Mines making almost the exact same noise. Took wheels off. Cleaned everything, been to service 3 times and they changed my axles drivers side. Then passenger. Then both on the third visit so I’ve had 3 axles on both sides and can’t solve it. Is yours still fine after a year now???

From where did you get that ABS cable mounting bracket ? I didn’t get it with the arms . And now it’s the third time my cable got cut because of the missing holding bracket.

My ctsv made the same noise and it was the same fix. I get my myp and the same noise.

Thanks for the video! Just installed with the help of shop/friend. Definitely a long, meticulous and careful install! Have to be careful and patient when getting the tower to fit correctly. Had to use a washer of a very specific size on the top left side attachment for the frame. Tower fits very snug, definitely makes the car much more rigid and stable! Took about 2 1/2-3 hours of work, could have been a bit faster.

Follow up with high temp grease dabs and some on the center hub as well to prevent rust since moisture tends to accumulate under the center cap during washes. The grease won’t drip out in the heat, is designed for bearings, so it’ll prevent corrosion and last a long time.

Had the same clicking sound on my Model S 2023 with 19'' wheels. Did the same, and it´s solved!! Amazing

Just installed the brake duct kit but I get some rubbing on the hoses like you did. Really want to be able to go full steering lock as it’s my daily. Did you ever add spacers?

Interesting. I ordered this about a month ago, just received it. Still waiting on the bolts/nuts. When I inquired about instructions, they advised they did not have any available yet and sent me the link to your video. One thing I am going to try is using a hole saw bit to cut the holes into the carpet for slightly cleaner look. Like you, I am eager to install. Not sure I would of figured this out without your video, thanks for taking the time to put this together.

Doctor Todd showed me the Holiday Mode on this car today, hands doen one of the coolest things I've seen on a car. This wrap looks absolutely incredible in person, you can clearly see a lot of time and effort went into designing it.

cant wait for the roadster to come out. Love my plaid as a daily driver but it was fundamentally designed as a family sedan. Be nice to have a proper sports car that's more lithe and can attack the corners better

lol this dude DON'T know nothing about track alignment at least -2.0 degree negative camber and slight toe in. in the front. he put garbage UNPLUGGED upper arm and think the plaid is track star . dude dont' even have solid bushing front thrust arm. when you brake this will throw off any alignment is set. I swear all model S owner are dumm AF

So what does a modded Plaid run or can you actually do ANY mods that'll improve 1/4 mile performance? I know weight reduction doesn't really help. Modding cars is half of the fun ... Don't suppose there is much you can really do with an EV...
