Offside. Reason: The player next to him interrupts in the run of the defensive player.

The offender fell herself. There was contact between both players. I wouldn't have called this.

Theres a small pull but contact is allowed. does this contact cause the attacker to fall like she does or does she let herself fall, looking to draw the foul?

It's not a handball offence, because the hand was close to the body and the player tried to remove the hand

I believe the rule changed. The deflection should be controlled in order to be considered an actual play.

What about if a defender starts holding an attacker outside the penalty area and continues holding inside the penalty area any video examples

I would like to say that, I am lucky to have those videos of considerations. Thank very much for making those stuffs. But in those video I do have one question to be clear with. I believe that the most determine factors for the challenge considerations are force and the recklessness, carelessness or the forceful behavior of the players. How does the other three affects the level of punishment. For instance the stud, point of contact and mode of contact. I need more clarity in those three considerations. Thanks very much

AR missed the call but good for the VAR that caught the guy in offside gaining advantage.

If clip 2 were at midfield, would that then not be a handball? It came off the foot and then hit the hand which then was controlled. This happens a lot when the player has a wonky touch and pops up and hits the hand., and is usually called a handball. But it sounds like from this that if it hits your own body first and then your hand/arm that it's not a handball? I'd like to be really sure that's the case before I tell everyone to play on. I've never even had a player complain when I call them for that anywhere on the field. Thanks for these videos. They are super helpful!

hey Jason, but there was a VAR check by FIFA panel and they also agreed with the DOGSO call. So, I agree the referee made the right call.

50:00 discussion: If a player has a habit of fouling, many that are cautionable, are we not supporting his/her habit? This sounds like how players who foul constantly, get that way. Wouldn't a game or two that HE (his actions) hurt his team correct the problem? Or the team will correct the problem when he/she finds a new team?

I started mentoring teaching classes this season. If this instructor is doing a terrible job, it means I have been as well because, that’s kind of my teaching style. I enjoyed the convo from everyone else as well.

If a defender makes an attempt to block a pass to an attacker - that is in the offside position - but only slightly deflects it - and the ball continues straight to the offside attacker… would you consider that deliberate play? I would still call that offside.

That was a close one for the AR to call it. Good job by the VAR there.

I agree but they allowed the goal...It doesn't make any sense at all since it was offside interfering with an opponent.
