The white player is moving to her left and expecting play to continue in that direction. The attacking player "SURPRISES" the defender by playing the ball to the right. The defender reacts tot he ball being played and is able to deflect, but based on the fact the defender was surprised by this play and was not prepared for the movement, this touch is considered NOT DELIBERATE and the offside decision stays in effect and should be penalized. Decision - Offside by involvement with an opponent.
