This is now available for pre-order for the US in the Godzilla store. It is the exact same packaging. It will release in September. Glad we are getting it in the states.

Just ordered this from the Godzilla store it’s identical to the Japanese release it comes with a 4k disc and the black and white version with English subtitles.

I might be wrong, but I think that Night Ripper is SOV and British...or its a tv movie..that might be British. I'm getting flashbacks that might not be accurate in my 42 years of a horror damaged brain lol. Great video !

I also saw it on tv as a kid. I remember really liking it, but could never remember how it ended. After finally seeing it as an adult, I suspect I simply could no longer follow it once it got so abstract in the final act. I've seen people claim much of the legendary cut footage was actually added back in for the tv broadcast. And that's a VERY abstract ending. I loved the "realistic" take on scifi of the late 60s and through the 70s. This, Andromeda Strain, 2001. Six Million Dollar Man, Bionic Woman, Incredible Hulk. I was born in 69 and love that none of this was dumbed down for kids.

great episode ! Personally, I prefer the Argento story. I like both, but I'm a sucker for Argento's style and even tho I have 2 dogs now, I grew up with cats and I'm slightly more of a cat guy lol. Highly entertaining stuff !

To say Argento is weird is an understatement 😄 He certainly has unique ideas and style. That dream sequence is eerie.

What? Occasional my patootie, substitute that for a PG remark we got all of the child plays in Atmos, we got the original fog in an Atmos and so on, and so forth with scream factory, they seem to have gotten lazy last year. It looks like, They were on point in 220 to 21 and 222 with Atmos tracks, they even gave the prints of darkness and Atmos track, RoboCop two no Atmos come on, point break no Atmos come on. I don’t give them as much crap for it, though because they are not the only studio holding out on being selective with this upgrade of audio, Warner Bros. and Paramount seem to have a stick up their ass as well when it comes to awesome movies, not being taken seriously, guys and another 48 hours/48 hours/well I could go on, but I mean Paramount put Ferris Bueller‘s Day off and Atmos, but said the hell with 48 hours, make that make sense. The only studio that seems to be up on point is Sony, their old and new films are almost always at most along with universal and I know people give universal a lot of crap, but at least when they upgrade a movie to 4K, most likely, it gets the DTSX treatment or Atmos, so kudos to them kudos to universal and Sony Ford taking their upgrades more seriously. You know I’m kind of a little pissed. They put Flashdance in Atmos but not Saturday night fever, Warner brothers put the exorcist in Atmos, but not the lost boys come on what are we doing, we need to start holding these companies accountable where they’re failed audio upgrades, I am a little lenient on screen factory, because most of the movies I own that they have upgraded have been at most. 3:55

Great movie. So many angles. Just picked up the 4K and have yet to watch it. I've had it on DVD for a while. It's creepy, it will catch u off guard and a sad ending. Christopher Walken's in the deer hunter was a performance to remember as well.

Tales from the crypt is still one of my favorites. I really want them to reboot it. Also, Death becomes her was supposed to be a tales from the crypt.

How is the deleted scenes special feature? How many are there and is it in clip form or just pictures?

4K releases are the endgame for movies to collect.

I just grabbed Pandamonium and Beastmaster but they have not shipped yet. I was tired of all the scalpers in the dvd selling groups asking crazy $$ for used when the sale was less then 1/3 what they are asking. I mean 50 plus for something that is 35 normally on VS web page is just dumb.

Just need to say, being over 30 does not make you old. Please don't fall into that conformist thinking. I know people in their 60's who are not old. I also know people in their 20's who are so out of shape they can barely move so they call themselves old. They are obviously not old, just out of shape. Think of it this way, if you start thinking you are old at 40 and you live until 80, that means you have been wasting your life thinking you are old for over half of your life. I'm sorry but that's crazy. I don't understand this way of thinking. It's so self defeating and honestly just ridiculous. Age is meaningless. Don't fall for the narrative that's been going around

your criticisms of the film are beyond fair...but I love this grimy and ultra dated pos film. It was free on youtube for a while, and I watched it quite a few times. The bald dude with the beard and suit reminds me of Scorch PFGTV....if you don't know who that is, you're a lucky man. Great review !

You say that you've owned this movie for a couple of years, but never got around to watching it. 1) How can you own a movie for that long and not watch it? Whenever i buy or download a movie, i make it my first priority above everything else to watch it. 2) If you had no intent on watching it right away, why did you even buy it in the first place? I don't mean to offend, it's just i don't understand.
