I think Friday the 13th box set is the best boxset period. I don’t normally care about special features so it don’t matter so much. They could put a little more love into it.

Amazon has it cheaper. The 4ks look quite a bit better than the blu rays. I think it’s worth it.
Felt like The Ring Two Directors Cut is a good fun film to round out the Samara story. Plus gives you a reason to watch RINGS the short film NOT the movie! That short film is so good.
There's no reason for me to buy this set. It's not enough of an upgrade over my Best Buy lenticular exclusive Blu-ray. I only want the ring and if there is no Atmos upgrade there's nothing here. Thanks for the review
It's $63 on Amazon. I may pick this up. Love the first one, remember not liking the 2nd that much and don't remember the 3rd one really at all.
I would agree with you. This was the first time I saw rings. Had a few cool ideas but underwhelming overall. I bought this purely for the first one. That's not a bad price for the three movies. But hopefully it will drop to like 50 on a sale.
I'll get it. I'll wait for Shocktoberfest but I'll get it for a slightly lower price.

Yeah I would have preferred another label to get it. Mainly so the package was better.
But the Arrow set is the original movies, not these.

Disregard his final opinion, buying this set is CHEAPER than buying the 3 Blu-ray’s on their own. At this time this set is 60 on Amazon, the regular BD versions separately come out to over 60
Imagine liking Rings more than The Ring Two. Rings was the worst out of the 3 films.
Honestly, it felt less offensively awful than The Ring Two. Don’t get me wrong, it’s bad, but it’s more of a snooze fest that spends its entire runtime retelling the story instead of doing anything new of actual meaning. The Ring Two is just horrific and not in a good way. It’s doesn’t look or feel like a movie that cost $50mil. It looks terrible and the effects are nearly as bad. Plus the fact that they ditched the tapes in favor of an unexplained haunting instead is just lame. They removed the thing that made The Ring distinct. I understand that they couldn’t adapt Ringu 2 because they used elements of that film in The Ring, but to me Two was just insulting. It’s similar to how Ringu 0 loses everything that made Ringu and Ringu 2 stand out.
@@patception8722I think I have a soft spot for The Ring Two because I grew up loving the first two American movies. I love the atmosphere in The Ring Two. I know the director himself hated The Ring Two, but I don't hate it. Sure, the deer scene didn't age well at all, but I did like the interaction between Rachel and Aiden in The Ring Two more than The Ring.
