Really enjoyed this video with the cozy voiceover! I'm a local in Yoyogi Hachiman and ride bike to Shinjuku everyday. I have never felt as comfortable riding on those big streets as you seem to do. I might be kicked out of country by my own people for bad manners sometime soon.

Perfect Days is one of my son’s and my favorite films of Wim Wenders. (We also love Paris, Texas.) And we even own it on disc. So it was a treat to see you ride to those toilets. And congrats on the Rune! Can’t wait to see how you build it up. Cheers from America!

That Rune will be a great bike in the stable. I've got a steel drop bar bike with big tires and it's a ton of fun whether tooling around town or ripping up some dirt. Don't think I'll ever need anything more aggressive than it. Great video!

The bike saved me when I first moved to Seoul. No one was commuting back then. In fact, I was featured in a Seoul news story for my efforts. The time on the bike before and after work helped me to think and reflect on the day ahead or after a stressful day. Commuting on the bike really shaped my days. The only accidents I had in Seoul was self-inflicted cause I was commuting on road bikes with wheels 21-25mm wide. Cycling in Seoul is very convenient. Leaving your bike outside unlocked and walking into a cafe or convenience store is something I really miss one that I am back in States. One thing I remember is riding home through the neighborhoods at night especially summer. Riding through the different neighborhoods, you smell the different savory smells, one area is grilled meats, another one is seafood pancakes, etc.

If caught filming, simply say you're making documentary about Tokyo toilets.

The Tokyo toilet tour will be on my bucket list when I visit this summer. Since we will be staying within walking distance of Shimokitazawa, the curry restaurant and cafe will also be on my to-visit places. I find it funny that some have criticized your biking in Tokyo since my experience with Tokyo biking rules is that there are no rules as long as you are aware of pedestrians and other bikers. Cheers.

One reason for tourists at 8:40 is because of the anime movie "5cm per Second" by Makoto Shinkai. I went to spots from that film around Yoyogi because I also knew the places from 'Your Name' would be way more crowded. I also went to spots from Bocchi the Rock in Shimokitazawa. If I had known about Perfect Days, I'd should've added it into my itinerary.
