Lots of familiar places in this video, and cool bikes. I normally ride a road bike, but this channel motivated me to get a folding bike and cruise around my neighborhood to enjoy the scenery.
Excellent video, congratulations..!!! You have a new subscriber to your channel who enjoys urban bike rides in the city. The same thing I do every weekend and some days in the week, after work. Could you make a video where you show us all your bicycles. Greetings from Chile and keep going, with excellent videos, to enjoy.
Just wanted to say I’m loving your videos. You’ve inspired me to hop on my bike a little more often. Manchester isn’t Seoul though, so can’t do as many delicious coffee stops.
This inspired me to get out on the bike today and treat myself to a nice coffee. Cheers for the awesome videos. Just wish my city was more bike friendly
Such appealing videos, reverent to the joys of cycling. Love my gravel biking on off-road trails, as well as riding my retro-mod 2005 Trek 7300 FX Frankenbike Commuter. I enjoy escaping from my lecturing job on lunchtime rides, exploring the cycle paths and quiet fringes of the city, inspired by your videos. Often riding 10 miles or so from work on a Friday to catch the train home. Keep it up 😎🚴
Earlier I was wrestling with the idea of a quick ride to the beach before bed to catch the golden hour. Glad I did! Fitting that I found this video later. Thanks for everything!
Thanks for another great video! The camera you have clipped to your shirt-what's the name and model? I've been looking for something similarly low profile for filming bike rides.
After watching your videos I try to bike slower and enjoy simple pleasures like an iced coffee. I am curious about two things though- 1) what speed do you average? I went deliberately slow on my commute averaging 10mph but still end up a sweaty mess because of heat and hills. 2) somewhat related to #1 but what do bike casual commuters wear to office jobs? I’m just wearing short sleeved and pants but doesn’t seem to stop the sweat. Maybe my 122 meter climb in 26 degrees across 11km commute just makes sweat inevitable.
No idea my average speed. Probably 15-20kmh. I sweat but I’m lucky to have a shower at work. Before I used to just bring a change of clothes and some good deodorant. Worked well enough.
Excited to see this channel continue to grow. I have to put some blame on you for my current Rivendell Obsession, hoping for to get my hands on a Roadini someday.
Your videos really do make me feel like we're along for that ride and that bike check with the cool repainted low kicker. (Made me think if VO actually came out with that color, and strengthened my resolve to build mine with size 26 tires as well).

Always enjoy your videos and how you present them. Have you mentioned in the past if you run inner tubes or tubeless for your bike tires? Just curious. 🙂

Thanks for reviewing my Cinelli! Loved your handlebar comparison vid, have you seen any black cruiser bars by chance? Struggling hard to find some good black bars
With some friction shifters, it doesn’t matter which side they’re one. These are actually Sunrace shifters for Sturmey Archer internal gear hubs. Rivendell Bikes worked out that you can use them as friction shifters on either side.
I ordered my first bike a week ago, and was so excited to learn to ride it and take trips like you do, but unfortunately my phone broke and I had to refund the bike so I could get another one on an emergency :c I really hope I can get a bike soon, they seem like the perfect transport, as I really dislike the anxiousness and problems having a motor vehicle implies, stay riding!!!

Thank you for these 💚 Feel free to not answer, but how does it feel having so many people say yours is their favourite channel on RUclips? Is it a good feeling or pressure? Or both? Regardless, I hope you just keep making videos because you enjoy it and it makes you happy.
Thank you. I'm flattered and surprised when people say that. My favourite is when people say they started riding or went for a ride after watching my videos. No pressure. I just enjoy making them and all the positive interactions. I'll stop making them if I stop enjoying the process.
Love this. Great outlook to have. Thank you for the candid response 😊 glad you are enjoying the process. It's all about the process and journey, like a lot of things in life. Commenting before watching today 🙂When will we be able to order our probably riding hats?
Yeah we need some Probably Riding x Hitch merch - and a Patreon where we can support you so we can get more videos and stuff :)
Hats very soon!
Yeah! We have some hats coming in the next week or two. Considering a Patreon but need to work out what I can offer you all first!

Tubes in all of my bikes at the moment. Tubeless is nice but I think it’s a little overrated unless the majority of your riding is off road.
Thanks for the great videos! Not sure if you’ve covered this elsewhere, but what do you use that small rack on the back of your bike for?
Thanks! It’s a saddle bag support. Useful for when I lower the seat for my wife to ride with a saddle bag.
