I lived for a year in Japan and the everyday bike rides like this were my favorites. Thank you for the beautiful video that captured that wonderful country so accurately.
I don't normally comment on videos... but, I thought you might like to know that I was in Kyoto when you posted this video and you inspired me to hire a bike - from the same shop it turns out - and ride around Kyoto and visit some coffee shops. It made my holiday. Thanks for sharing and thanks for the inspiration! Keep doing what you're doing.
What a fantastic video. Thanks so much! Female occasional rider here (one of your 10%!) and I love seeing your wife riding about too, she always looks so cool and it encourages me to get out :)
15:18 so beautiful 😍 I was just thinking about Perfect Days earlier in the video. And then you mention it later on. Such a perfect film. Absolutely love it. It's a big favourite of ours over on the r/simpleliving subreddit. The simple pleasures and joys in life 💚 This is my favourite time to ride as well, early in the morning with the morning light and crisp air. And also my favourite type of travel, slow travel with a mix of spontaneity and intentionality. I hope you and your wife have been having an wonderful time on your travels. Thanks for another gorgeous video, Marcus-san 💚✌🏼
I'm a Japanese and a hardcore Komorebi lover, and I'm glad you went there because the "田舎" part of Kyoto is definitely one of the most beautiful places in Japan. Thank you for being on RUclips and sharing your beautiful journey☺
Bike lover in Kyoto. It truly is the best way to get around the city. There is more dedicated parking than you realize, unlike other cities it’s a little less convenient, but if you know the city you’ll realize a full bike lot is never more than a couple blocks away
Every landscape from Kyoto looks like a movie scene. Hopefully one day I can visit Japan and ride through these gorgeous streets 🙏 Cheers from Portugal 🇵🇹

Following my third watch of this beautiful video, I have to thank you. Perfect Days has just knocked Amelie off it’s ling term number 1 spot in my all-time favourite movie list. I’ve also just ordered the dvd of Perfect lives. If it’s half as beautiful to watch as your travelogues I’ll enjoy it greatly. Thanks Marcus.
I really do appreciate your channel, my friend. The consistently chill vibes, carefully curated content, and smooth delivery are exactly what I need right now. As long as your riding, I'll be watching. Cheers.

I’m also english but based in Sweden and although I never met them in person they were so personal somehow in their communication that I’ve made it a goal to visit the shop in person. If you fancy branching out and doing european bike checks I would be tempted to start there. The brakes are brilliant.
