This song will forever have a special place in my heart! ❤️ I was playing bass at the time back in... I'm going to say '68 or '69, somewhere around that time. Anyway, I was, probably 16 or 17 years old... and I'll be turning 70yrs old in July of this year. But, I digress. Our little trio plus a girl singer, played the Valentines Day dance at the Junior High School Dance, Columbus Junior High in Columbus Georgia... and we nailed this song proudly! I still get goosebumps thinking about it! Many, many moons ago.😎🤠😚☺️

@RichardIresonMusician Certainly do! And thank you so much for responding in kind! My RUclips channel has a few videos of my friends, and I performing some of our old favorites. I also played guitar on a lot of them. But, that was a few years back. Now you can catch me playing bass on Sunday mornings and Wednesday nights in our church praise band. Just enjoy showing the Lord how grateful I am for the little bit of musical talent He's blessed me with and allowing me to live this long, lol! I will always believe that music is Heaven sent, and if we're one of the fortunate ones that were on the receiving end, use it for His Glory and our enjoyment. 😎☝️🎶🎸

Nice cover man, this just came on top of the pops 1980 forgot how much I liked this song and the bass jumped out at me straight away, haven't played for a while but might have to give this a go. Might be a bit too fast for me though.
Hi there, the secret to getting back in to it is little and often. Try to make time every day for practice, even if that's only for a few minutes. Also, know what it is you want to achieve before you start. Focus on that target. Above all, enjoy the journey.
