Just as the rumors and whispers about Ubisoft's financial folly began making rounds I had started the "Ubisoft+ Only" Challenge. For all of September all I played was Ubisoft games, an experience that truly highlighted the cause of their issues: a lack of quality in their games. It's not a surprise to anyone in broad strokes, but the final details hold many surprises and are certainly more than meets the eye.
