I bought some really sexy MOMO Thousand Lakes seats for the Viperccino. It's a pretty small car after all, but they are small seats, so will they fit? Time will tell.

In this episode we have another go at getting the Advan A3A's to fit the Viperccino properly. Mark also waffles on about wheel offset, width, tyre fitment, pointers, life, the universe, and everything. The usual stuff.

Here we go on Pubrun 3 with the usual wide variety of cars and characters, including a visit to Fighterworld in Williamtown NSW. This was started towards the end of covid when venues were doing it tough because no-one was travelling. It was a way to spread a bit of money around and continues to do so.

Time to fix the ahem, not very good clutch that died on the MCM track day. We're replacing it with....exactly the same brand clutch made of cheese and failure. Okay I know. I have reasons however!

I thought the white wheels would be hard to top, but MAN am I digging those Advans!
They do look good with a bit of dish no doubt.
As a point of interest. Can we get an update on Woody’s wheel?
Getting new custom barrels spun up for them. Usually takes 6-8 weeks.
@@BarrelBros - What was the issue? Did they just split on him?
I'd love to see a photo of the Viperccino parked in front of a real Viper. It's like the transistorized version. 🙂
Hardly see anyone rotate tyres anymore.
Without a cone , what steering wheel is ?
MOMO Prototipo.
Either one looks good,Mark!
Looking niiiiice
Music sounds a bit like the message ....by Grand master Flash...
Sometimes I wonder how I keep from going under....
Funny how you always use the same Spanner even when you have a few of the same 😂
I know right. Same one every time. And when it's not there......
What size tyre do you run? I love 14 inch, but the options are very slim.
I run a 185/60/14 Dunlop SP. Plenty of grip on this nugget and a modicum of comfort.
@@BarrelBros thanks!
I really like both tbh, the red on white tickles my fancy a bit more with the car being red n white but the a3a's on a car that size with arches that phat look so good! Are you planning on returning to the track with martyn in it some day? It'd be nice to see it in action
Martin has driven it, however he is built a size too large to fit comfortably.
Sorry I could of worded that better, I meant it'd be nice to see ya back at the track with the lads but this time with ya camera rolling!
Yeah, I feel like such a numpty for not turning it on. Martin has 64 cameras in the car, but he also has a James to turn them all on hahaha!
It happens, blimey so that's how he shaves off milliseconds at the track then he just ditches a good 10 cameras a lap
i have a set of theese but 1 has a nasty dent in the lip, anyone know anyone that can straighten a dent in adelaide
Not in Adelaide, but All Aluminium Welding in Chipping Norton in NSW can do it. Just box them up and ship them up. I really miss my wheel straighteners.
See ya mate
Both wheels look superb but I think I prefer the Harts. Definitely have a favourite spanner but as I have a classic Mini it's a half inch.
I think it looks spot on with the A3As
The A3As suit the car perfectly 👌
They look 💯% better than the white ones imo, well worth the effort.👍✌
Красотища, адваны по мне так больше ей идут
Я в двух мыслях. Я думаю, что Harts лучше подходят по цветовой гамме, но A3A лучше подходит машине.
Would love to see the Racing Hart's on the front with the A3A on the rear. I wonder what a take on the volk 4/5 concept but with older 3 piece wheels would look like??
Yes I absolutely do have my favorite spanners, 10mm, 12mm, and the list goes on and I have multiple's of everything, haha. Seeya Rob
G'day.. Just seen you on MCM drift video and thought I'd give you a like and subscribe.
1:40 ghost in the upper right corner 😆
Not sure how the editor missed it. It looks like stunt double Mark with the moustache got mixed in with the regular Mark! 🧔🧔
How big are those bloody "yeah buds"? Those lips look like they're easily 20+ inches in diameter - is Shannon fitting them up to an RX3 coupe? Or is it a VL Commodore?
Only 17s from memory, but you're not far off the mark on the car lol.
Shoutout to dms motorsports.. I mean john kapowie!
Kapowie Engineering is a paragon in the motorsports community.
Hey Mark, Very imformative!! At sometime could you do a video from day one how you got into wheels, then progressed to Barrel Bros etc. 👍
That's not a bad idea actually.
That's not veteran wheel man Mark losing a valve core is it? No eye protection comment either. Who are you and what have you done with Mark.... that mo is not fooling anyone
@@the_real_superstickman hahahaha!
Return of the filthy mo
@Mardy72 and just as quickly, gone again 😊
@@BarrelBros thank fck 🤣
"Yucky old Techno Phantoms".....🤣 Those would not be yucky in my books,Mark. lol
lol, I'll take them off your hands for nothing.
Great watching as always 👍
I watch all your videos, but the wheel related stuff is my favorite for sure. Thanks for taking your time filming and editing all of this content. Cheers! 👋😉👍
Thank you for watching!
Hey Mark! Can you help me locate or make some centre caps? I bought a mk3 Supra ages ago and it came with a set of Work Rezax Roar wheels but the centre bits were never to be found :( I honestly don't know where to start other than buying a whole set of new wheels
This reminds me so much of my fitting "brides" into the first gen rx7 mistake. The fauxbrides fit the genuine bride rails and the genuine bride rails fit the car. But the driver didnt fit the seat and the rails pushed the seat up too high. Good way to spend money on swear words.
It’s a shame they didn’t work they looked great!
What about sunny truck
I tried fixed back seats in that and they were the wrong angle and uncomfortable. May give it a go though
Shame they do not fit. They looked great
Yeah, suited it perfectly!
You can't put a "lost time" value on activities that count as relaxation. Like doing a five minute angle grinder fitment test job on a part nobody would ever see anyway with a big mill
More mill! Great toys :)
Nice seats, pity they didn't fit. If I'm remembering correctly Roman Autotech used to be at Concord, near Ryde Bridge. I'm picturing seats in a window display you could see from Concord Rd.
I put fixed back brides in the brumby, got really lucky, the brackets that bolt to the side lined up with the holes in my original rails, and miss my door by just enough to get the seatbelt 😂
good to see some more content
Close but no cigar.
They would have squished your balls
Hi, you can try Bride EXAS, which I heard are made for kei cars.
Darn too bad. Those were nice looking seats too! Back to the drawing board,Mark.
@01FozzyS They suited the car so well and fitted me really good. Dammit!
@@BarrelBros Well you could always buy another vehicle to match the seats. Just sayin'. 😉🤣
Swap the engine to hayabusa
No.
Love to see you so happy with the start.
Jup, the roof was lifted... Its quite funny for us tall people. At least the headroom helps. But lower slung seats also helps. Oh from I'm from South Africa btw. Love the build! And has given me some inspiration to finish my b110....
Dave is skilled, Dave has good ideas, Dave is a nice guy and good for a chat (given more than half of this video was chatting with Dave). However, Dave does need to consider the concept of "just because you can, doesn't mean you should", particularly when it comes to wheel sizes.
I had a '62 Austin Healy Sprite with the A-Series 1098, dual throat Side Draft Weber, with no problems getting the back end to step out with a bit of aggressive cornering and a clutch dump
