Got the version 1, 2nd hand, great kayak. It's much easier to put The Bow section into the skin first and get it well seated, before adding the stern section second ! Also to get the last bit of the keder to slide in, put extra pressure from the 2 side pumps, let off afterwards, then just about 2 or 3 pumps on the sides, adjust keel pump to get desired rocker.

Recreational kayaks are generally 9 to 12 long. The pakayak is 14 feet, so it is considered a touring kayak. It has been used on rough conditions by Ken Whiting who is a champion paddler, instructor and member of the ACA American canoe association, checked it out and said it feels like any other touring kayak he's tried. The ACA teach about kayaks and water safety etc. He's not impressed with it's ability to roll though. He said the rolling was ok but you do lose some performance due to the portability.

Doug has decided to no longer include the towel. At 2 grand per boat, the towel should be thrown in there. So folks, if you do get the boat, be sure to use your own towel.

Don't use the nylon for rolling. The neoprene skirt is for rolling and much better.

Very interesting. Have you tried to put on a polarized lens on the drone's camera before to make it follow you on water? The polarized lens uses to minimize the water glare interference when you wanna see what is in the water.

Don't forget to take the material off of the bow. That material is to protect that part when you pack it up. Also neoprene spray skirts are waterproof whereas nylon skirts are not totally waterproof. Neoprene is better for edging

Thanks for the test... It just perfectly shows how Bad tracking Kaykas is! I Tried it in Whitewater and it got even worse. Tracking foam instead of Bright Orange/Red/Blue boats!

You guys are so comical you forgot to take the nose material off from the bow lol. It protects the bow from scratches when you pack it.

Make sure you guys practice incorporating your torso when you paddle instead of just your arms. Your mid section should rotate as you paddle. The main strength comes from your abdominal muscles rather than just your arms.

The newer ones are 10lbs lighter which is very helpful for me.

Great info from @vadimshayevich8748 The big thing I am seeing in addition to the hand/body position is the lack of good leg load and drive. You aren't using your legs to roll the kayak (not enough torso - hip - rotation). The body rotates around one axis from stern to bow (or bow to stern) and the legs rotate on another access from left to right or right to left around the kayak. That could be due to the lack of connection to the kayak.

Be sure to use your torso when you paddle so it eases the stress on your arms.

The bag that the pakayak comes in fits in the kayak so you could pull it wherever you need to.

With that kind of wind, I would not use the NEO anyway. I would use a heavier drone with spotlight option in this situation.

Yeah, if you try from palm and it can't find you again you can't connect it with your phone and get it back. It happened to me, flew straight up and after the battery died it crashed and broke. Get the repair service as soon as you buy a drone.

I made myself a Greenland paddle. Didn't really have a wood carving experience. But it wasn't really hard and took about 6 hours. I really enjoy padding with it. It is also not that heavy, about 780gr for a 224cm long paddle (from red cedar).

I agree with getting both. At 65, I basically do group tours and rent the boat. Way easier and very reasonable. I am purchasing a Tuktech as I want to do nature photography and I go on shallow rivers and streams. I want to compare the Trak and Pakayak for down the road. You gave me a great idea to purchase the Pakayak used. Hong Kong looks lovely. Keep up the good work!

Lower deck, narrower beam make a huge difference in roll progression. The other key is good outfitting in the kayak. My primary rolling kayak has a 20" beam and roughly 8" deck height. I still had to add a thick foam masik to give me the fit I needed to get the leg drive and rotational control. I have an Ilage coming and expect to add a bit more thickness to the masik as well. For comaprison, I am 5'9" and about 160 lbs. Keep up the good practice

good quality assembly video. I know there must be amazing handling characteristics for TRAK 2.0 foldable kayak, but I believe simple pump up quality inflatable will see water lot more than this kayak. I wonder if I can get it set up in about 15 min it can be something I would look into as I can see that's a quality product.

When packing it up, don't forget to release the foot pedals and slide them all the way forward or you'll have problems getting the last part to slide all the way down. Don't ask how I know.

I was flying mine, and on two OCCASIONS ,it just went totally rogue, suddenly accelerated , and crashed on the nearby walls, once almost hitting some passersby. Please watch out if you get the notification like - 'Unable to hover precisely' or something to that effect. Other than that, I absolutely loved flying it, and used it as a great vlogging tool. Not to mention great improvement in Video Quality after all the software updates.
