Amazing places - you are fortunate to have such locations to paddle. Great looking video as always. Image quality from the X4 looks really good, and intermixing the drone footage so seamlessly makes for some great scenes!
Thanks! Actually I was also using GoPro Hero 10 in many of the shots. All the shots of me paddling are on the C4. Do you have a drone? A drone really helps to capture nice shots of your trips!
@@AirOnTheWater I completely understand about having too much gear.. having a drone also slows down the trip and I always feel bad when my friends have to wait for me 😂
@@Fishaholicboy Yes, I guess.. still awesome though. I started realizing I was shifting from solo kayaking to almost always paddling with others second half of last year. This year I hope to reclaim some solo kayaking time (many of my waters are calmer than yours) and then it will be easier to do stuff like that on one's own paddling schedule 😎
Nice to see you back with new videos. I have to switch to my 4K TV to watch this video. Beautiful scenery. Thanks for sharing. The food is wonderful. I wish I were there 🙂
Hahaha I really love exploring and I really love watching him fall lol Be careful I'm sure you have heard of Karma. That waterfall looked amazing Wow what a beautiful spot. Great video again buddy and the seafood looked fantastic.
I just love this tropical-like climate. You have stunning views out there. And this waterfall - awesome! 🤩 IPIK is running smoothly from what can see. Technique-wise, you're looking good from my perspective. I'm also learning to use a Greenland paddle correctly (you already know it anyway - I got the Kalleq back in 2022) but probably slower than you - you might be having many more opportunities to go out and paddle. I personally never liked 360 cameras and never wanted to use them. They "bend reality" in a weird way and the image quality always feels worse. I'd rather get more rigged angles from regular GoPros or DJI Actions. Thank you for the video. I hope you'll show us more touring trips. 😁
Really appreciate your comments! I still need to refine my paddling technique with the GP.. still experimenting different ways. 360 cameras can be really good but just need to edit it with the software which can be a pain. I like using both gopro and the insta360 as they service different purposes. Will definitely have more touring trips for sure!
How do you like using the Greenland paddle? My Trak that was supposed to be delivered 2 weeks ago never showed up. After waiting 2 years. FedEx dropped the ball. But anyway. Does the Trak come with paddles?
Hi! I really love the Greenland paddle and it’s my primary paddle. Once I got started on it, I rarely used a euroblade now. It’s a shame you didn’t receive your Trak yet but I’m sure it will be soon! The paddles have to be purchased separately and I have quite a few videos about Greenland paddles. I have one of the Gealrab Outdoors Akiak and the Kalleq!
@@Fishaholicboy Thanks for the reply. I suspected there is no paddle included. If I have to buy one separately then I will for sure get a Greenland. I will check out your other videos on them. Hong Kong looks like a great place to Kayak. I used to live there over 20 years ago and will pass through next week for work. One of these days I will bring the Kayak and explore some of the places in your videos.
@@dt3269 wow.. you know HK very well then! It would be amazing if you come to HK to kayak, I can go out with you. There’s a lot of good rental kayak shops too so you don’t need to carry the Trak if it’s too much of a burden!
Thanks for sharing! It's very interesting to see video of paddling in your part of this great wonderful world. Just moved to Vancouver and received my TRAK, so your videos on the TRAK have been very useful, as is your choice of gear. Cheers to a fellow paddler! 🚣:-)
Hi! Thanks for the positive feedback! Have you taken out the Trak yet?? I love watching other people’s experience with the same gear/kayaks I use! Hope you enjoy the Trak!
@@Fishaholicboy I haven't had a chance to get out with it yet, but once I'm settled into my new place it is my top recreational priority. There are some very nice areas close to Vancouver, and in the Pacific Northwest.
wow, amazing locations
Thanks Ian!

@@Fishaholicboy I do actually, though I have yet to start using it. Too much gear to try and test and then have time for RUclips too 😎

@@Fishaholicboy Thank you!😀
It's cold & wet in the UK, lovely to see you all enjoying the warmth.
It’s almost too hot and it’s not even summer yet.. but I can’t complain 😂
I just received my TRAK after 28 months. I am also excited to try it out....
Hope you can try it this weekend!
now that's the definition of a blessed life, great video, just the way "I" like them. Lol........
Hehe.. I know you like these types of videos :)
I only like your trip videos,
Is it because you can see footage of yourself? 😉

Haha I believe in karma too.. so it’s eventually going to get me 😅
Good. No one criticises your paddling skills this time
😂 feedback is always welcomed
great job!
Thanks!

Where was the lunch spot at?
Hi, it’s called High Island Seafood by Sha Kiu Public Pier. Pin is here - maps.app.goo.gl/LfVRSdgSvCa8VwAc8?g_st=ic
