THis is the best OBS Video ive watched thank you !

I'm a little confused. When streaming, are you running two instances of OBS simultaneously (stream instance, recording instance), or are you just installing the new one at the beginning of the video so you have a fresh settings file? Also what does the portable mode file do?

It's been so long since I've subscribed to someone on a tip video. I have bad ADHD and can't focus on the way anyone tries to explain anything. I understand it all but just can't do it or sit through the video. You've earned a subscriber. When I clicked on this video I was thinking I was just going to hear a bunch of stuff I know. One of the very first things you said was comment how many tips you already knew. Just like that I knew you would still throw out basic tips BUT, only if they are important. I can relate to your style of content better so you've got yourself another member of the community.

Yeah realising that I’m not doing it very well, and it is super hard. At times I just wonder is it worth it? But I have to focus on the end goal.

I still streaming on twitch and shared video for my channel but I still find the part time job to working for make profit and support the life. Also I workout a lot of stream on twitch and I didn’t get more profit for me. So I do only to work and streaming together. [My twitch channel: pomsetsuna]

Will you PLEASE!!!! Update this to work with 0.2.6.! I have made all the changes in the Raw formula that I downloaded according to advice given in the comments. All OBS plugins installed and i keep getting "Invalid JSON" Missing request-type, at minimum this is required" error message. Please Help!!!

I've been streaming on kick and they don't talk at all. At the beginning I decided to wait for them to talk first, which is obviously the move, but the other day my mic stopped working while streaming and I didn't realize.... people kept joining the stream and even stayed for a little while but nobody told me I was muted, like why would you join and stay in a stream where the streamer is literally muted? I know there are lurkers, but I believe that kick sends bots to my stream cuz I literally saw people joining and staying on the stream while I was muted.

Hey so when introducing yourself to brands, do you use your real name only or would you say something along the lines of "Hi [brand name], I'm [irl name] and I stream xyz on twitch using the name [online name]..." obviously more formal than that but you get the idea of what I'm asking.

Found this because I have the Logitech C920, and I just can't deal anymore lol the most annoying part about it, is the settings that I may take FOREVER setting it up prior to a stream, don't save in OBS or SLOBS. It is not a OBS or SLOBS issue either, it seems to be terrible drivers in the camera. It gets even more annoying with the fact that even if I take a screenshot of all of the settings in SLOBS, the next time I open up SLOBS and put my webcam on, input the same exact settings, it will not look the same at all. Sure, sounds like it doesn't make sense, and Idk why it does it, but all I know is it drives me nuts and I need a new cam. I can't afford a lot of these cameras that a lot of people are recommending on the internet today, so I'm definitely going to be looking into the other ones in this video. Thanks!

Making shorts.. is a task i absolutely detest. Not because it's extremely hard, heck, i get at leart 5-10 clips from each of my streans. It's wheh you take 1-2-3h to edit a short, upload it being all hopeful, and it dies at 300-500 views with 0% conversion rate to your twitch/youtube stream. I have had a few now where swipe ratio was 55-65 to 45-35, but if its not in that 70+/30- ratio, short dies within a day. Also, AVD on 85%+ , still no more than 800 views... it's just demoralising to be completely honest.

Fellow content creator and love the concept, but the delivery is so fast that even with pausing I'm not understanding it well - and for reference streamerbot is all I use, so I'm familiar. This is a really great topic that I think could help folks with a more in depth and slowed down pace. I know the code is there to grab, but that's giving me a fish instead of teaching me how to fish. I know the battle of engagement, but I think you could slow down a bunch and pull in more retention. Just friendly feedback from another grinding things out!
