A Genius Idea or Gimmick? Posedla Joyseat Custom 3D-Printed Saddle Review!
I’ve been dealing with saddle discomfort for a while now. According to bike fitters and methods for choosing a bike saddle, I’ve tried many saddles that should fit me, but they never felt right.
Recently, I came across the Joyseat saddle. This is a 3D-printed saddle that Posedla makes directly based on the imprint of your butt. But it’s one of the most expensive saddles on the market. I’ve tried its first and second generations.
So, how do they differ, and is Joyseat worth it? You will find out in this review!

Is This the HOTTEST Chinese Bike Right Now? A Casual Talk About the SEKA Spear

At this year's Eurobike, I couldn't miss SEKA and their latest Spear frame. It promises several improvements over the Exceed and also introduces the WindEye structure. It is supposed to be more aero and improve ride comfort. First, Scott and I talked off camera, then I thought I'd at least do a short "interview." So here it is! I have their Gravel Edge, 45mm, 24mm internal width, came in at 1408g. Everything is great, but bc they're so light, they absolutely need to be balanced, all said and done, about 12g/15g per (front/rear) wheel extra for balancing, worth it, they ride SO damn smooth.

    Mate, wasn't the main issue that u made your butt footprint in foam in your underwear instead of cycling pants? Also overall thing for men is, that slightly shorter saddle is better, especially for aggresive body position on bike. It work at least for me :)

    • @cyclistshub

      @Milan_Nemec 2 дня назад

      @@cyclistshub but that is maybe the issue ;) you are not riding your bike in underwear, but in cycling shorts and another thing is, that it must be very inaccurate to make real saddle only from pictures :) in my opinion that process has to be similar to bike fitting...you just have to be right there at place

    • @cyclistshub
      @cyclistshub 2 дня назад

      @@Milan_Nemec I see, well, it's hard to say. 🤷‍♂Determining sit bones width is probably better from imprint with underwear than with shorts. Furthermore, shorts have different chamois so it can skew the imprint as well.

Thats one of the reasons wind tunnel systems are so big: to absolutely assure all the air coming to the test object is laminar and you can actually measure anything meaningful. Got the same one. I have driven them for about an year and only paid 560€ incl tax. Because of a new wheelset from CSC (30x59mm,1515gr awesome wheelset for 420€) I now use these for gravel. As described, they are not too stiff and are also suitable for gravel with 40mm tubeless. Due to their relatively low weight, they accelerate very well. They also seem reliable for racing. On the road there was a comfort gain when changing from 25 (5000sTR) to 28mm (CONTI TT 28mm) tires. The sidewalls remain flush with the tire so that there are no aero disadvantages. All in all, a clear recommendation to buy.😅

      Well, there are many pros and cons of using a smartphone instead of a bike computer. I have a fully dedicated article on my website: www.cyclistshub.com/bike-computer-vs-smartphone/.

    Hi Petr, thank you for your review. Regarding your change of crank length, how tall are you and what's your inseam measurement? Best

    • @cyclistshub

      I have 185cm and my inseam is 86cm. 😊

      @@cyclistshub You were feeling pain with the 175mm crank? I have the same measurements than you both in height and inseam. That's why I find the topic even more interesting.

      Sometimes my knees hurt in the winter or I was troubled by the IT band. But I mainly wanted to try shorter cranks. :-)

    Dimples on bike parts is marketing gimmick. Dimples on golf balls is to control and enhance flight. A bike does not fly in the air.

      Yeah, but I am sure it will have some limitations like the TT bike it's compatible with, etc.
