Awesome video. I agreed with you on most of if not every point. I haven't watched the series since I was a kid. and Honestly thought of it as "Gatcha the anime" As a show it was.. okay. But like you said, the characters didn't do much for me so I dropped it. I wondered why it has gone on for so long though. So its been at the back due to intrigue. To know why lots of people watch the show for 5 seasons.

I wish some studio pick up this series and re-adapt it again with bringing back hideki naganuma who's responsible on the banger ost, and giving the high quality animation that it deserve. it just wishful thinking but there's still audience for this kind of anime genre and with the successful of bombrush cyberfunk, the series need a second chance.

Fortunately for me, I dipped out 5 minutes into episode 9 then back in up until the murder her little croc buddy. Could feel the story just tanking and I couldn’t expose myself to that.

I don't hate Boruto but I think the Naruto show is definitely alot better. Naruto didn't really end at a good point for a next generation sequal. Maybe if it was about 2-3 generations later. Mind you, I haven't read either of the mangas since I don't like battle mangas. Boruto's characters just feels flatter than in Naruto, the villains are just boring. The Akatsuki was alot more entertaining than Kara for example. The focus on tech in the main plot (at least up to episode 230+) just feels so boring. I'm watching the show with ninja magic because the ninja magic is entertaining and interesting, if I wanted cyborgs I'd watch a sci-fi show instead. Boruto's battles also focuses alot less on interesting abilities of the characters, and feels more like dragon ball with the focus being on raw power and laser beams/balls. I know that stuff was in Naruto as well, but there was alot of other abilities in the mix as well. One of my biggest complaints about Naruto is that the MC basically just uses two things, clones and Rasengan, for almost the entire show. There's a few minor interesting abilities in Boruto, but most are just borrowed from Naruto, like Daedera's exploding clay. Outside of these few spread out instances it just boils down to who punches the hardest 😞

I read the manga it gets really weird. It needed more chapters about the main cast,the flashback chapters are too sexual and useless overral.

The story was all over the place and rushed, but the drawing and the animation was pretty cool. I'd rather watch this than 99 percent of Japanese anime. Plus I like that they used American voice actors and didn't make it in another language and then dub it. It feels more authenticate and the dialogue makes more sense. And RZA doing Shakespeare was sick lol. That reminded me of the DiCaprio version Romeo and Juliet movie. Over all the story telling was horribly bad, but the visuals were cool.

I woulda rather watched Naruto and Sasuke through their 20s fighting the otsuskis than watched this embarrassing knockoff of Naruto. And the amount of disrespect they give the main characters especially Naruto just pisses me off. Like the fact that he has to constantly be at the Hokage's office signing papers like his specialty isn't shadow clone jutsu? And the fact that Naruto is a living god of shinobi and he gets tossed around by random side characters? Or they made Naruto's Hokage ceremony some stupid prank and made a comedy of his entire life's goal not to mention that his stupid kid keeps shit talking his name every episode? I can't get myself to resonate with this dumb storyline and this stupid brat nosed kid, he's just annoying and all the other side characters suck too. Shikamaru's son is literally him and they made sasuke's daughter a nerd with glasses. What a great disrespect to the Uchiha clan. Great characters like Itachi, Madara, Obito and than this nerdy girl that's Sakura with a shitty sharingan? Also why doesn't sasuke have like 2-3 kids? What happened to restoring the Uchicha clan? Even the Villans in this are boring with no real backstory, literally made up as clones with anime ass pulls. The only good parts of the show are when Naruto or Sasuke are fighting. They made all the other old characters lame. Even fact that they had to modernize everything to fit the 21st century theme made Naruto lose its entire traditional ninja and gritty feeling. The whole series is just dumb and disrespectful to the original masterpiece. I wish they would just cancel the show and rewrite it from the 4th great ninja war or Naruto's the last.

13:20 - Mr. Satowski is NOT a creep in that parallel universe. The wonder-killers are only based on how the wonder-eggs perceived them. I did like that whole thing and getting back to psychological difficulties of young people. Alt-universe Ai didn't have as much time to figure out her own emotions about Mr. Satowski (jealousy, love, confusion, paranoia) and we the viewer saw him through the MC's lense for a while there, only to realize later on he was a good guy.
