Considering that shows for children can have plenty of mature themes, people recommending to watch more adult stuff are always a bit odd. But love this concept for videos, good stuff! Would definitely watch a part 2.
Here's my hot take: a lot of what people call filler in a manga is actually just a lower-stakes arc to help wind down before the next big arc. If you don't have lower-stakes arcs, then the whole series can feel like a constantly dragging high. Plus, low stakes can allow for character building you can't have during a hyped up battle.
I really loved your response! Is very ironic that, in shonen especially, when you try to find good examples of platonic relantionships, they usually came up with very good chemistry, and you can see them as a couple sometimes. On the other hand, when you want some kind of romance, they tend to just have some guimick and it ends up falling flat.
