The satisfaction of Van ending Claw... man you really undersell how perfect the moment is. Claw begins his monologue speech and Van just immediately ends him without hesitation, right as he begins his villian monologue, and walks off. No pizzas or flashiness, no "epic" moment. It's just happens so fast and Claw's death is not given any more dignity nor indignity than of any other human being. What a well directed scene that could have easily been stumbled.
Gun x Sword was a series that i enjoyed but forgot about for a long time, it was until Super Robot Wars T and 30 that Gun x Sword and its story was included in those games that made me remember it again, so watching it after so long was worth it.
@@TheKnightOfZ0 And Honestly, it came out so Good because he wasn’t being Oversighted by the Studio, not like with Bandai or Bamco! It was real Bullshit how “Code Geass” came out so fractured in R2.
I thought this was a great series. I really enjoyed the slow burn of the first half. It allows the viewer more time to become familiar with its characters and setting. It's not entirely unlike Steins;Gate in that regard. I'm not sure there will ever be a more pro-revenge anime ever produced (at least not within the mecha genre).
Dude its been like a decade since I watched this show. Never thought I'd see it brought up again. Thanks for bringing back old memories.

I always loved the opening that Siluhettes upcoming characters to prevent spoilers.
The characters have such good designs. Their long legs limbs remind me a lot of Code Geass
Made by the same director

Absolutely fantastic thumbnail brother! The gold frame really makes it pop.
I love these retrospectives, so many pieces of media just out there😮
This definitely makes me want to rewatch the show now. I started years ago and never finished it. I only remembered it because of this video
I miss this era so much. The 2000s were such a fun time
This anime is my must watch with dororo and fma brotherhood
I loved this S-cry-ed and G-Gundam.
Gun X Sword story telling remind me of Katekyo Hitman Reborn! The first half is filler, and then the story just off the rails into a grand conspiracy.
