Thanks for checking out the channel. In this channel, we do rides, reviews, and sometimes rants. I currently have a 2020 Softail Low Rider S, and am loving every minute of it. I also have a soft spot for Sportster as it was my first Harley Davidson. Thanks for tuning in and being a part of this journey!

Is the suspension stock ?
Cute vest
Ok diddy
Just wish it was cheaper
I know what you mean.
@@IronBornRider but my guy I can’t take it anymore I will be buying it next month 🤣🤣
@@RaMt2oo lol I support this decision 😂😂
I really love the road king but hate the price 😢
Same here!
I am 6'4" and am completely at ease on my 2022 tribute xsr 700. Such a light and nimble machine. It will happily putt around town in low revs but it punches like hell past 5k rpm's. Some people think it's a good bike for beginners but I think it is more suitable for intermediates. Peace!
dude, would you share the link for your gauge? I like those and wanna buy too
Thanks man. Harley sells it but I feel like ive seen it cheaper elsewhere www.googleadservices.com/pagead/aclk?sa=L&ai=DChcSEwiGgpnhsOGIAxWoX0cBHb3PHhgYABAsGgJxdQ&co=1&gclid=Cj0KCQjwjNS3BhChARIsAOxBM6qwv20m7Kl1UvKcyCWWludCvHVbJHnXaiMc0wC03s1DroT1FgC-vhwaAiAAEALw_wcB&ohost=www.google.com&cid=CAESVeD2ixspBpwVWxM9hZ-EWj7A0_R44K-O6rw-h5sUB2kB1V0XoZpBKS0euaSNufLTyAy_93LIkm-P432p-HXouAhRn2t2PKq0FFvSXHdS7gMoTHN5RP4&sig=AOD64_1QcHijfmvRMUoZHIvojzEhMUhHFA&ctype=5&q=&ved=2ahUKEwiVrpPhsOGIAxUVEVkFHa0NBFQQwg8oAHoECAgQCQ&adurl=
Whats up with the little toolroll ?
I ride a 06 fatboy cvo 200 back tire but I run a130 front tire had it for years very comfortable a little slower in twisties rake n trail make it slower in twisties
That’s awesome!
It's not a motorcycle, it's a roadster. Best open road touring machine.
Don’t buy any helmet unless it’s over $1000…… if you can’t afford it than don’t ride. Jk 😂 lots of people buy expensive helmets for status mostly…
Agreed, I think the benefits start falling off around $600+
I'm a beginner riding a Vulcan-S. Glad I've got 6months on it riding everyday and long weekend rides. Im definitely ready to step up. Seriously looking at the Scout
It’ll be a great upgrade. Maybe not as comfy as a Vulcan but still an upgrade
Harley wants to sell Ferraris or Land Rovers... They say FU to chevy Spark motorcycles or Mustang motorcycles..
I've had my LRS for 4 yrs now. Just now changing the battery at 30k miles. I've ridden cross-country on it. It's been a great bike. No issues at all. When I get old I'll get a bagger.
Nice bro, how much inch you lift up gas tank?
1.5 inches. Giggity
Looking to add to my 2018 Tri Glide, 107. Cannot really hear the sound of engine in the video. Hoping to get feedback on how this could be a good addition.
what riser do you have?
Lucky Dave’s
True. I have also noticed this. They have shifted away from their Softail line which are the most iconic models for HD and are more focused on the touring models. Where the Softail models should be getting the most attention. And bring back the original Sportster line. Imo
They’ve done a few updates to the softail line aside from the low rider st, but this year was the year of baggers for sure. Would love to see them come out with a true entry level bike too
Yeah, If HD came out with an $8,000 entry-level bike that can actually COMPETE with the other entry-level cruisers, they'd make a mint, from sales to service to merch. Too bad they're going the way of Ferrari, trying to take a mainstream brand and make it exclusive/luxury/whatever.
If triumph can do it, Harley can too
@@IronBornRider ... but WILL they? That's the question.
@@RoadReality well they haven’t in however many years so probably not lol
Great to see you on your HD! They are idiots. If I didn’t get into the company on an iron 883, I wouldn’t have been on a soft tail.
Thanks! Same for me, the sportster is what got me into hd
The sporster comparison was lacking. Your test bolt needed a pipe and flash. How did the hit compare to the iron? Better torq to 70mph feel.
Buying the new Nightster is like going to a Seafood restaurant and buying a steak... Most that are interested in a HD don't want a motorcycle that sounds like a sewing machine... When HD looses it heritage characteristics (Classic style , potato potato sound) it's just a another motorcycle to consider that cheaper and just as good..
Yeah I get that the nightster doesn’t have the hd qualities
For me it’s less about the models, and more about the price when it comes to entry into Harley. I was lucky enough to find a used Iron 1200 at my local dealer, but theoretically you would think they would want to try to push the Softail Standard as the entry level bike. The 107 motor, minimalistic vibes, and shorter stance make for a friendly ride for a beginner. I started out completely green when I got into riding. I never ever rode dirt bikes or any bike with a motor on it when I was young, so even the 250cc bike in my MSF course scared me at first, but I got a cheap 883 off marketplace and after I got my license I immediately got bored with the 883 within a month. Found the 1200 thinking it would be crazy power that I’d be satisfied with for years, and here I am a year later wanting more power. Had I listened to my buddy a little bit more I would have probably just pulled the trigger on a Standard or a Street Bob even. But there was no way I was gonna pay 20k out the door for a Street Bob as my first bike. Harley has to figure out how to lower their prices if they want to expand their consumer base. They cater to the retired crowd who already made their money and that’s about it.
Yeah I had the same journey and there’s no way I would’ve paid what they’re asking now for a low rider s. I had to work my way up. But they at least got me in with the entry level bike
I haven’t seen a single used sportster (iron 883) in the dealership in quite a while. Makes it hard to get into HD now at a descent price. They do need to fix that.
Yeah if I were them id try to buy up all the used sportsters to sell at the dealerships at least
Skipped the low rider missed the st. Bought the sport glide
Yes their CEO has made major fk up with their product positioning and this will go down as a major mistake in case studies in business schools in the not too far future. He has a background in in luxury retail goods and sportswear and he's trying to replicate the strategies he used there, with low margin highly competitive motor vehicles. I don't think he understands the market segment and industry dynamics. He's banking on brand name too much. I give him a maximum of 24 months in the company unless he pulls a rabbit out of his arse.
The CEO is a major fk up... So is the the whole board....
Which helmet are you rockin om this trip?
Ruroc atlas
Nice roads where you are.. back country roads where i am in western Pa. Not so..
Thanks! Always in the hunt for nice roads
I started on a street Bob and my buddy a low rider. We’re both doing fine
Totally doable
thw best beginner bikes are the one with training wheels at the back 😎 after months of driving then you can take it off
this or the Z650RS?
Xsr700 for me
Thanks for your video! I just traded in my Ultra Limited 2020 for a Fatboy 2023. I testrode the fatboy (2022) and I tried some manouvres on a parking lot, NO PROBLEM! It just feels different when fat tires. Greetings form Finland, Europe.
Thanks for watching! Enjoy your fatboy!
Beautiful choice for a first Indian. They're way nicer bikes than the competitor.
Thanks, and I agree!
Which bluetooth headphones do you use with it? Mine is too thick for the slots given, my ears start paiining. Please recommend.
I use the cardo system
I own a chieftain it’s a nice bike. I may have bought a Harley but I detest 99% of Harley riders 🤷♂️🤷♂️🤷♂️. I own 4 bikes and my sport tourer is leap years ahead of any American cruisers. I find my cruiser just a chore to ride, noise, vibrations, shitty power delivery, terrible handling especially in the wet and the frigging heat…But it does look cool but to be honest my other three bikes are way better at being bikes.
Yeah a few buddies of mine have sport tourers and it’s tempting for sure.
Just got a 24 fat boy and it's perfection.
Nice!
Ooooh lemons. Stupid woke lemons. Should be oranges. Cuz freedom. Unsubscribe.
Have a few friends with the scout bobber that are 6' + and they have absolutely no issues with the scout for the size problem
I’m in a scout bobber Facebook group and a lot of people 6+ have mentioned the opposite. I suppose it’s subjective
Road king Road king special well it has a nice speedometer and you know how to ride a motorcycle. What’s the point of this video? 🤔 Is this supposed to be a review or did you accidentally post the wrong video and this video was meant for your wife and kids so they can see you riding motorcycle I’m confused brother.
Great bikes. Dude 11 minutes of you riding around telling us what you like and dislike. Try showing us the bike and going over the bike and details. Give some views of the stance and overall look of what you got going down the road.
Appreciate the feedback! I did that with one of the other demos but forgot to pull over for the roadking. I guess I was enjoying the ride too much 😂
nomen est omen - special for a reason
Got a brand new low rider s to pick up next week. Stage 4 kit and a lot of extras on that bike, arlen ness big brakes, se/ohlins suspension, le pera kickflip seat etc. can’t wait
That should be a lot of fun
Thanks for the review man. Finding that sleek hidden support bracket helps me out too. I have an UltraCool oil cooler mounted up on my left front frame tube that would be in the way of that long lower bracket. Plus I think you’re right about it looking better too.
Thanks for watching. Yeah the support bracket was a good find since I like my crash bar
i think people got caught up in the fashion of a bobber and not the reality of a bobber like most things these days, clothes, dogs, cars.
Yeah it looks cool, but not the most functional for long riding
@@IronBornRider sounds like a rebel 1100 would be more suitable to long distance
1 glove?
Funny you say buy a cheap bike. I get bagged on by my in laws because my bobber is cheap. They all ride 25k+ harleys😂
Lol. But you’re the one paying for the bike so get what you want 😂
@@IronBornRider exactly. I call them bill poor ballers. Ain't got 2 nickles to rub together but they got payments
I personally don't like the looks of the special over the standard. I get why they cut one. I am sure it helps the bottom line but they still lost some buyers, how many? I honestly don't know but I doubt I'd get a special.
It seems like it may be a lot of people. I’ve had a lot of people mention they prefer the standard vs the special
That looks like ... Rockville?
Correct!
Great bike man. Can you share a link for the seat? You mentioned it’s the Indian Solo Seat but looks very different from the sport solo seat they offer, which isn’t lifted off the frame like yours. Much prefer the look of yours. Trying to decide between the Scout Bob and Triumph Bob and your videos have been really helpful.
@@CMHGonzalez thanks. I’m actually selling the seat if you’re interested but it’s a “1920 scout solo saddle seat”.
Jason, I think you have one of the best looking low rider s with the modifications you have done. I could watch this video 30 times and not get bored of it. Good stuff!
@@RUclipsReplayed wow thanks for the kind words. Really appreciate it
Who cares what you think about any vehicle. What’s that red switch for again?
