I have a cruiser. Not the most powerful or fastest bike but I like cruisers 🤷🏾‍♂️and I agree *some* of the HD riders are dicks. I stay far away from that brand entirely. Sport bike riders are friendly for the most part. From a far It looks like they’re just psyched on their bikes and I can get with that. Do I plan on ever owning a sport bike? Nah. But I can appreciate the machinery and the rider out here risking it just like I am

The road king special feels better riding strictly because of the fork placement. The fork on the Springfield is further forward than the road king. It makes a huge difference in flickability. I’m 6’2, the Springfield feels like I have to reach forward a bit. The road king feels natural

For me a useful helmet must have a camera in front and a camera at the back (in case of accident for legal purposes) and a connection with the telephone with a display voice command and microphone and speakers. The traffic lights on the helmet are a redundancy because the motorcycle already have traffic lights.

Just start out on the rain mode. It's a slower smoother ride. They should last 200,000 miles. If the maintenance schedule is honored. My advice is to rent and ride a few different motorcycles. The kawasaki ninja 500 cc , 2024 is a good first bike for the younger crowed . If you're over 40 rolling with a used upgrades Indian bobber could be a better fit . And before any of that, get lessons and training . If you're not a good driver in a car. You're😊 better off buying a truck, hehehe.

That chart of price and power almost exactly justified my purchase of the Eliminator. I wanted something that looked good, was easy to work on, and was reasonably priced. The most important thing about that bike is that it’s perfect for someone who is undecided on getting a cruiser, standard, or sport bike. It kinda has a little bit of everything, and it helped me figure out what I would want as a second bike. The Scout is really cool, and I like how you can spec it with mid controls. It’s just too bad the local Indian dealer is never open when I decide to drive/ride down there 😒 The scout is really cool, but like you said, the used market is rightfully stingy.

@IronBornRider I'm one that when I got my 1st bike, I was 44 or 45 years old. I knew nothing about helmets' quality or safety. All I saw was it was sold in the dealership, so hey, they're all the same this one is just 200 vs. 900. Then I noticed the helmet breaking apart for no reason bought a bell helmet right away I noticed the difference in the sound and less noise while riding. Had an accident had no choice but to buy the cheaper ls2 helmet because they didn't have bell or shoei helmets in stock in my size and right away I was like oh hell no huge there was a huuuuge difference. I went and got a Shoei this time around and again a biiiiig difference bke I will say I was going between the shoei and another ls2 like it's been said many of budget companies have started stepping their game up the shoei barely beat the ls2 the price i got on the shoei 799 helmet I got for 500 something and it's was just a little more than the ls2 model but the shoei fit was much snug and not painful snug and the sound was much better as far as not hearing all the outside noise
