This game was awesome in its day on ps1

I've never really seen the PlayStation version of CMR 2.0, I own the PC version. The PS version looks pretty nice, despite the less crisp graphics than the PC version, and I'm glad the gameplay lost none of its complexity between the different platforms. CMR 2.0 was when the CMR series really started maturing and hitting its stride as a classic rally racing series.

I never liked NFS4 for the simple reason that they removed split-screen. I played NFS3 for years with friends in split-screen, and out of nowhere it was removed in NFS4. A huge disappointment, and the reason why we never played NFS4.

I remember listening to the Jack Thompson trial results while playing this game. The fact that the pigmen severed parts would slide down angled surfaces and leave a blood trail blew my mind.

Question When I use the Raze Source Port…sometimes I would experience screen tearing while I turn left or right also aiming up and down Feels a bit jaggy…I’m running full speed when I walk straight though…it’s just weird Is there a setting in raze where everything smooths out? Help 😂

This was recommended to me 5 years too late but duke nukem 3d is among my top 5 fps of all time. I personally grew up with the n64 and ps1 version. If i wasn't playing doom on the ps1, it was duke nukem 64. Replayed the single player countless times, never got bored of the levels and playing multiplayer was so damn fun. I recently picked up Duke nukem again after 4 years away and damn i forgot how good the Roch levels were(fan maps), kaiser land 3 is also an incredible level.

This is a legendary game ! One of the best rally games ever made.

tbh this was the only duke nukem I've played back in the late 90s and prefer this to the FPS versions because of the 2 player versus mode is so much fun that me and my friends had clocked in long hours in it

Eduke32 doesn't support alien world order without silly things like copying it into the Steam folder. Then again, that episode can't be played in the original anyway.

What blows my mind is how this is not on N64 Switch online. This would be an excellent game as you can just pick it up and play, plus they can implement online 4 player with some backbone.

It's crazy to think the Ps1 land the foundation to many classic series. You can still play this game today and have fun. Classic.

I remember playing the PS1 version as a kid, but for the longest time, I couldn't progress past the third tournament because of how difficult and frustrating the races were.

I still remember the first time I played this. I missed the Shotgun in the opening area so I was stuck with nothing but the Blaster until I found the Machine Gun. It was not fun. After a friend showed me where the first Shotgun was I memorized its location. This game has my favorite Id Super Shotgun though I prefer the Nailgun and Super Nailgun to the Machine Gun and Chaingun. I prefer the opening sections of the console ports to the base PC game because like the original PC expansions they start you right next to a Shotgun.

I do think the remaster is great, but I honestly think the original version of the game kinda sucked The OG game had terrible weapons due to the input lag, very slow switching, and also the machine gun's massive kickback Not to mention the enemy AI was also pretty bad even compared to the Q1 enemies

Fun fact. Sonic Mayhem made a soundtrack for Quake 1. Should be fairly easy to find a dl for anyone wanting to play that game with more metal music.
