I started to play and rank TA (I'm still silver but I'm getting there) and it is a super fun mode, also you can mess around with your teammates before the round and it's not as sweaty as other modes. Contrary to cashout, I started to play it competitive and I just can't make it work. In TA or Power Shift, I can get 2 or 3 KD almost everytime, but in cashout is just not for me, but I want to make it work, sometimes I just try to play the objective and suddenly team wipe... if you can provide some tips, I would appreciate it.

The only problems i have with ranked is the Prep phase should not be a thing or reduced to 5 seconds an the garbage players i get matched with

TA sucks man. Has nothing to do with the meta. It’s just not “The Finals” at all. It’s boring. I’ve spent my entire life playing Halo 2, Halo 3, Destiny 1, Destiny 2, and now The Finals… I do not care about the playstyle that is TA. I couldn’t care less about CSGO or Valorant. There’s a reason I never played those games. Never interested. Here’s a fact that sums up how bad TA is: The players from the team that JUST WON $15000 in Twitch Rivals have all QUIT maining The Finals bc they don’t care about TA. Think about that.

I have to say, I find it EXTREMELY refreshing to hear any opinion other than “TA killed the game”. I happen to agree with you, I prefer cash out most of the time but TA is a good time, and with some tweaks(I think revives being allowed would make it feel less boring after you die for example) it could be a great mode. Anyway, subscribed just because it’s nice to see somebody just having fun with the game and I’m looking forward to more content 🤙

the mode is shit, It's not the meta that make us rage. Its a completely different game, setup, pace...

I usually don't watch more than one balance change video but then i saw it was you and clicked anyway. This community needs more positivity, no i don't like TA (I'm glad you do) but i feel like thats all we focus on and i just want people to get back to enjoying the game. I stand by you that Terminal Attack is in fact fun. All of my friends prefer to play it as well

i dont think boundaries are a good idea, lights need the room to flank and/or disengage.

Ranked TA is the worst thing ever. Every season i grind diamond ranked rewards. Now its locked behind the worst shit ever.

6:15 still going positive against them with trusty riot shield 🗿 9:22 while this might be true, something is wrong with the math behind the current system. +200 for a 7-6 win against a team with 8% higher RS but -1100 for a 6-7 loss against the same team does not make any sense.

In cashout I had only two teammates I’d have to worry about, now in TA I have to worry about 4 teammates and I am completely unable to fix their mistakes. Along with the annoyance of being put down to 100 health after the first fight of every round.

I’m not enjoying this season lights seem to be dominating every lobby just boring now

6:30 Why bother playing a game like this legit if you don't have the time/care to get good? Most people who cheat are adults. (or kids that want to be good but I'm going to skip this) Most of the adults that cheat don't give a fuck if a game is getting hurt, all they care about is not getting evicted or not going negative in their bank account. Basically, what I was trying to say is that they don't care, to them it's fun and cheating IS fun, there's no denying it, people don't do it because of the trouble you have to go through to get them but, ask any cheater out there rage not closet, and they'll tell you because it's fun. And for example, you downloaded and used a rage cheat for a few days you'd also be having fun. At the end of the day, it's just pixels on a screen.

I hate TA, I personally played The Finals for cashout 🫤 (I don’t like CS:GO, Valorant, or Siege and their gameplay) I’ll still play and get used to TA for the diamond skin but damn, stuff sucks man.

it would be great having separate queues for stacked teams, its fucking frustrating to fight against people that are playing together in ANY mode, not only TA. Also the matchmaking in TA is pretty sad, getting matches where there are silvers,golds and even bronze against platinums

I have a sneaking suspicion when they reintroduce cash out into the ranked playlist it’s going to be with a heal beam rework.

The nerfs where soo much needed its was wayy to buffed and i was getting lights the all lobby and am only medium

I came into terminal attack with an open mind and just didn't enjoy it, the slower gameplay isn't what I play the finals for. Not to mention the chip damage, it really does ruin it for me. If you enjoy it then good but I do think that its the minority.

You shouldn't be shy about your opinion on ranked TA plenty of people including myself enjoy this mode

Why not just revert the LH1??? Was upset about the buff because i knew this nerf would happen. Worse than season 2 LH1

I'm trying so hard to like TA but its killing me atm. Weird tho as I've come from CS so dying early and sitting out the round didnt bother me nearly as much as it does on TA.

I only played rank and have hundreds of hours in this game, if they would’ve at the very least mixed cashout and TA in ranked that would’ve been sooooo much better than forcing TA and giving us a shitty world tour.

It's funny how when meta was heavy and medium we did not get any nerfs for a long time but once the meta is lights we get instant nerfs. I feel like embark hates lights together with the entire community. I'm not saying the nerfs were not needed though.

They need to add revives to TA. The game is literally designed around it. I'm 100% sure more people would play if they do that and it doesn't make it any less competitive

Throwing knifes were finally in a place were you had a chance against the other classes and now they nerfed them TWICE again!! Light is the least used for teamplay and comp. Out job, by game design, is to get in get some kills and get out. And they keep nerfing us because Medium and Heavy are in danger in a gunfight for once. Forget in, until Light get some mutch needed love I dont touch Finals again. Thank good the Elden Ring DLC is here soon.

I really like terminal attack I just wish you could regenerate your full health back. Snipers feel so punishing with little counter play and it feels bad.

I'm not against terminal attack. I'm against there isnt a ranked mode of cashout. Two ranked mode couldnt coexist?

I really think pushing terminal attack to more of a COD S&D experience would make it more fun. I'd like to see everyone be able to regen to full hp, everyone running light is just the only option right now. Maybe we should revert the "prep faze". I just feel like the matches need some more momentum since they dont play like R6 or CS.

devs keep nerfing stuff instead of rebalancing and it’s ruining the game you can’t make every weapon feel like shit

I think it is the better ranked mode though as when your team is playing well you will win and vice versa. But in cash out there is way too much rng envolved with spawns and third party, you can win playing like shit and lose playing really well it’s very annoying.

Therminal attack is quite fun too, just a different in some ways kind of fun, it is less frantic than cashout but more nerve racking and suspenseful, i seek and dread at the same time every encounter. Having said that, even tho i personally have fun with the mode as it is right now, can agree with the neccessity of some kind of costumization of the maps for the TA mode in particular and maybe a reduction in the rounds needed to win the match so the games can feel a little more fast paced. I understand that Cashout is the preferred mode for the majority and that the change can be frustrating, but i find the reactions and drama about it quite overblown. People absolutely can manage for a couple of months with WT if they hate Therminal Attack until they add Cashout back to ranked next season (it could even happen mid season) but they are acting like they killed the game lol. I find the stiffness and lack of adaptability of many players probably more problematic than the changes in the game it self.

Adding onto my previous comment, than you thixx, I just want to have fun on a game that's extremely fun to engage, and we can't because people only like to complain and not adapt. Again yes I deal with super sweats and cheaters, but I'm still having fun goofing around figuring out how to outsmart my opponents.
