How Much Does it Cost to Rent an Apartment in Puerto Vallarta in Mexico?
I wish I were brave enough to do what she’s doing. ❤❤❤❤
It looks very beautiful and peaceful. Barb looks great and gets around really well. Very impressive.
Very nice video covering the basics. I am sharing this not to brag but to show what’s possible. I’m retired and I have 2 separate portfolios. One is a long term growth dividend portfolio of stocks where i sell covered calls strategically and my 2nd portfolio is the Crypto trading strategy where its all about income. I am on pace to make $120K in realized options profits and around $869K in crypto profit... What is great is that my long-term portfolio is still up significantly as well. As such, it’s possible to generate excellent income but still have a total return perspective. ...Amidst this, the insights of a knowledgeable guide like that of Expert ‘’Matthew D Heck’’ can be crucial. His expertise in navigating the nuances of trading has been the key for Me understanding and making the most of these emerging financial trends
New survey has revealed rising adoption of cryptocurrency among the world billionaires, as they start experimenting in the digital currency, expanding their investments portfolio beyond traditional profitable assets.
I heard his strategies are really good, How do I reach your Coach/mentor.
How would you recommend i enter the crypto market? I am also looking at studying some traders and copying their strategy rather than investing myself and losing money emotionally. What's your take on this approach? and How can i reach him, if you don't mind me asking?
Can't share much here, I take guidance from ‘Matthew D Heck’ a renowned figure in his industry with over two decades of work experience. I'd suggest you research him further on the web
Use his name to quickly conduct an internet search Matthew D Heck
I’ll be there soon! ❤ I’ll be going first to stay for a month or so and my husband and I will be there part time snow birds when he retires in just a few years. We love Puerto Vallarta.
My husband and I are going to live in Puerto Vallarta one day. I’m going to go first and stay for a few months for the next couple of years until he retires. I’m so thankful we visited Puerto Vallarta in 2018 because we fell in love with the people and their culture , the town itself especially Zona Romantica , the Bay of Banderas, the beautiful skies in the day and the sunsets in the evening. We also fell in love with the delicious food and drinks local to Puerto Vallarta. ❤ the bay and especially the food and beautiful skies and sunsets. ❤
These gringos living the best life in Mexico and in turn Mexicans in the USA are treated like criminals for picking and farming the food of the American people! Shame on all of you!
wow such a happy person,
No one is safe in Mexico.
Great Spanish enunciation.
Are you being told by some people that $300 US Dollars for your lovely apt is too much?
. tht is a lovely place . i could like to live there too . am 78 and paying 1.150 for rent in Canada . that is reasonable .
What a lovely lady
Great Video!
Thank you for all your information, with the current administration in the US and the possible crackdown on the cartels, do you sense any difference in the climate towards Americans? Thanks
It’s noisy, hard to tell why?
Yeah. As a medical professional I can't tell you the number of times seniors get ill in these places. Tell me how good the healthcare is there. Big surprise. It's like the seniors who retire to the countryside for "peace and quiet". They never figure their health won't last, they can't drive and the spouse dies. Think long term folks and access to transportation, groceries, pharmacy and healthcare.
My choice as a health professional to be far away from hospital. DNR. Sweetie possibly you retired some years ago believe it or not we have helicopters where I am. Would you believe it we have ambulances. Please tell me how long someone can sit and wait in an emergency room 😂😂😂 Stop being such a drama queen. Do you think this woman is do stupid she doesn't know what she's doing. If she has an aortic aneurysm she's dead and that's fabulous. Not everyone thinks like you.
Typical female medical professional hence I always insist on males 🙄😤
I don’t know why you stopped her from telling people what the house actually costs rent when she’s living there Solo. That’s what most people would want to know.
I am 56 and is inspired to move to the UK in 4-5 years, Barbro is living her dreams and I wish her the best!
No dogs allowed. Love that!
Buenas tardes! I got that loud and clear. I'm 75 and looking for a place safe like this
A beautiful place, but she has to have room mates to get that low price. So you have to be able to stand to live with other people. I love the flooring and wrought iron features of the place. Just wonderful.
Hello and great info. I just find it so hard to believe that they would require $88.5K per retired couple as proof for six months of income ($7377 x 6 x2). Was it that high when you first submitted your application?
Thank you for sharing 😊🎉😂😂😂❤❤ nice 🙂🙂🙂🙂 apartment ..I'm working on relocation😂🎉😂❤❤❤❤soon
Wow 80 yrs old ,what a beautiful gal.❤
Lovely park? Till you look down at all the garbage.
Love this, I always thought Mexico was a no go due to high crime and gangs but to see a lady living there feeling safe is refreshing. The cost of living is way cheaper than here in the UK too.
80? Wow!
@ 10:46- Have a plan for when you cant or should not be without some assistance or care. Don't wait until you fall and if you do fall, do not put friends/room mates in the position of having to be part time care givers. I see people doing this and while it's okay to ask for help a few times, if it's an ongoing permanent thing, it's time to hire help. One fall can mean permanent disability or death at 80. Always wear sturdy tennis shoes and do not rush or try a stunt because you're not being patient enough to wait for a tall persons help. And is it a good idea to broadcast to the public how you walk to and from the market? It looks too isolated and can make you a target if a predator sees this video and recognizes and knows the area well. Pepper spray gel sprays further than pepper spray. It's sad to say, we have to be prepared because the number one target is older women and in Mexico, white American older women are higher on the list- and just fyi- getting assaulted is not easy to recover from. Be careful this makes me worry!
Thank you for your concern. Have a great day!
What misery follows you
I can’t believe Barbra is 80! Wow!
This lady is SO INSPIRING!
She certainly is! Thanks for watching and commenting!
Where do you live for six months when your visa expires after six months? Have you applied for permanent residence?
I have permanent residency.
It is good for her bur I feel bad for the locals that have to pay 11,000 for room 😮😮😮😮😮
Thanks for your comment.
Barbro looks amazing. I am inspired. Im currently 47, and this is how i see my life at 80.
She is an inspiration for us all! Thanks for watching and commenting!
Over 700 usd a week is too much money how can that be budget living in Mexico places like bali Vietnam Guatemala panama would be nearly half that amount to be honest
Hmmm, budget does not necessarily mean inexpensive...it means living with a set amount of money, at least in our definition. You are certainly right that one could live in those other places that you mentioned for a lot less money. We like to say, "there is a place for everyone and for everyone's budget!" It's a matter of where you want to live. Thanks for watching and commenting!
Are there any problems down there due to the US deportaions? What is crime rate in general in PV? Can single person live on $1,500 per month w/out scrimping & suffering. VERY interested. THANK YOU FOR YOUR VIDEO & INFORMATION. BTW, the vid of Barbro was interesting as well. Do you guys live near each other. Thx again 😊❤
So far we feel very safe living here and no problems due to the US deportations at this time. There is some petty crime, like pick-pockets/purse snatching as in any tourist town...we're recording a video this week about that as a matter-of-fact. One could live on $1500 usd a month but you have to get your residency first...that might be an issue. Did you see our recent video about that? We live close to each other as it is a 15-20 minute bus ride through town (10 pesos). Otherwise we meet up in town and walk all over the place! Thanks for being here!
@RetiredLifeMexico Hi, Louisa/Michael- thanks soo much for responding 😊to my questions. Your warmth& congeniality come through your video. No, I didn't see yr current vid on residency; how would I access it? 🤔.Am wondering if it's an expensive &/or complicated process bc you said that "it might be an issue". BTW, it's Nice to hear that you & Barbro live close by. Also wondering if PV has take-out food restaurants w/delivery or cuisine variety like Chinese, Italian, etc? , lol, Or any BurgerKing/other biggies, lol. As you know, NYC has all that PLUS delivery options like DoorDash. Apologies for rambling on w/questions but PV seems like a contender for visiting/relocating. Have a pleasant day & Once again, thank😊you !
I enjoyed watching your videos. Very interesting. I never thought about Mexico as a pace to retire affordably.I speak Spanish so that makes transition easier. I already know people from Vermont that live in Mexico on the regular and this peaks my interest to talk to them about there experiences. Have you been to Merida or Oaxaca?I would love to see videos on those places done by you. .
Thanks for watching and commenting! We have traveled to Oaxaca and several other cities, just didn't have the RUclips channel yet. We will be working on putting something together about them for the future. We have not been to Merida, yet. It seems like a nice place, but we are partial to the Pacific side of the country for its beautiful coastline. We have gone to Oaxaca for the past 2 years and will be there again this year for El Día de Muertos. Come on down! Buen día :)
Soooo how does someone get to do house-sitting?? Do you put in apication to housesitters agency? I am Senior Canadian? I am on tight budget and American exchange to Canadian dollars quite expensive so would need to pay for a place in Pesos not US$?? Thanks. for info!!🫠🫠
Yes, there's a site called, "Trusted House Sitters". I would google it and go from there. There is also a version of it for Mexico. Thanks for watching and commenting.
but needs bars on windows and doors I will never go there for any kind of money!!!! We have very affordable housing for seniors in Canada there is also Safer that you can apply to for help with rent.
The bars are very traditional in Mexico, not just for security. I loved my life in Canada, but I have to tell you, I love it more here. It is all just a matter of what make your heart sing. And I'm never cold!
Ah nice to know that there is no crime in Canada 😂😂😂😂😂
@barbrozaniewicz3818 you are indeed living your life ❤.
I'm sooooo envious!! Need more info. Thank you. ❤❤❤
Stay tuned! We're working on a sequel :) Thanks for watching and commenting. Have a great day!
Do you only have to share part of the year. That’s good. Oh. 2 roomies. I don’t know. Thanks for sharing with us.
It's an arrangement that a lot of younger people have, the digital nomads. But, it works for Barbro, too. Thanks for watching and commenting.
4500 a month in Mexico 🥴
That is a lot to live on in Mexico
I would love to come and stay with you and get a tour of rentals in where the grocery store is and all that business. The only thing you hear about that area on American News is cartel and murders 🤷🏻♀️
Isn't that the truth. Those things do exist in parts of Mexico, but it is not the daily reality here in Puerto Vallarta, which is very safe. I can assure you, I feel very safe here.
Wow, Barbro, what's your secret for looking young and feeling young? C,mon, share the secret please?
I think it is good genes, lol. Thank you for your kind remarks.
How do you manage in Mexico not being able to drink the water?
Water is available and delivered to my home several times a week. It comes in the same containers as are used at home in coolers, and that's what I use to drink. I cook with tap water. Never had a problem. I wouldn't drink the tap water, not that it isn't purified, but apparently the distribution system, in the pipes, is where the problems exist with the water.
@ thank you for taking the time to answer as I was so curious about the issue . Have a lovely day.
I live in PV and rent starts at about $700.00 a month for a small place, unfurnished. Internet, gas, water, and electric are cheaper than the US.
That's pretty much what we are finding as well. Thanks for watching and commenting!
I heard this morning that the Mexican president wants to send all Americans back home. This was a threat being used because President Trump wants Mexico to accept illegal aliens back into Mexico. And he was using tariffs to get Mexico to do so. I hope this lady can be prepared to leave it that happens. God bless.
First of all, Barbro is Canadian and second of all, we all have our residency visas which means we are not here illegally. Thirdly, wherever you "heard" that this morning, or yesterday morning, the source is most likely not credible. At any rate, thanks for watching. Have a great day!
@RetiredLifeMexico Even if you do, doesn't mean you can't be told to leave the country with what is going on now. And why in the first place would you want to live in a foreign country, where criminals like drug cartels rule. I don't even want to visit Texas or other border states with all of the dangers now. I read many years ago in the Readers Digest that Mexican criminals would put drugs in visitors' cars and if you got caught with those drugs you would be jailed. Then to get out of jail a family member or someone you knew would have to come up with bail money. If not then you would be in jail till you could come up with the money and if you're a woman you could be raped by the jail men. Nope wouldn't want to go there or live there. Yes I know there's criminals in America but I'll still stay in America. God bless.
For people like you is that places have become unavailable for the locals. I hope you treat them with respect.
We certainly do treat them with respect. Our neighbors are wonderful!
She has bars on her windows and doors.
Wow, this made me feel so much more hopeful about the future as a 50 something woman. Thank you! Gracias! 💜
Thanks for watching and commenting! There is hope for us all! Barbro is amazing :)
