The rifle that you showed in the image was a ptrd-41 not ptrs, the ptrs has a semi-automatic mechanism and a 5 bullets magazine.

Yea, many people think spaced armor was first used on panzers for recoilless launchers like the Bazooka. But in reality it was first used to combat anti tank rifles as spaced armor was quite effective at shattering the round upon impact.

That's a PTRD btw. Same caliber, just much simpler design.
