    I didnt expect this much diffrence between .50 cal and 14.5mm but to be fair this was a tungsten carbide round while .50 cal was hardened steel, I will make a video with .50cal SLAP and compare it to this 14.5mm bullet.

      I've read somewhere that's 14.5 had 3 time the power of the .50

      I was shooting a .50 Browning and I was standing next to a BRDM 2 as he fired his 14.5mm KPVT. That's a huge difference.

    KPVT is extremely powerful, more like 20mm autocannon. In fact, it was developed out of at 20mm cannon.

    can we see a 14.5 TC round vs 50bmg slap round against solid steel and then NERA, would be interesting if the slap round has an advantage at longer ranges, or is worse

    Thx for your hard work new I know that using some cheese armour is more effective than using NERA 😂😂
    btw that is Egyptian IS-3 from 1967 war survived multi hits some of them is from 105mm L7 gun so there is idea for a video for you.

      @@Slavkovic_Predrag The 105mm L7 would fire against tanks APDS or HEAT-FS but I think it was APDS round.

    Big difference of 50 BMG and 14,5mm in penetration is because of Tungsten core

      Tungsten core helps, but 14.5mm round also has roughly twice the energy of 0.50 BMG.

      @@JaM-R2TR4 What's your point? There are SLAP catridges in 14.5mm caliber as well. 14.5mm is simply a different class of weapon with 1.5~2x round energy and is more comparable to some 20mm cannons.

      The 50bmg slap has 16,000 joules of energy while the standard 14.5 API(hardened steel core) has 32,000 joules of energy

    Looks it doesn't work.
    not enough sloped, not enough energy from rubber and aluminum is soft .
    And overall energy absorption is not enough

      This one worked for .50 cal so people requested it to be done with 14.5mm that is much stronger.

    Da li bi se mogla pokušati napraviti nekakva kombinacija oklopa koja bi zaustavila 14,5x114, a da je ipak lakša od ekvivalenta RHA debljine 35 mm i iste površine? Hvala.

      Već sam napravio onu perforiranu koja je oko 30-40% lakša od običnog čelika. Wolfram karbidni projektil 14.5mm može da probije i do 50mm rha čelika na bliskim distancama.
