Canon PowerShot SX70 Zoom Close-up Deadly Australian Snakes
The Canon PowerShot SX70 HS has an incredibly powerful 65X (1365mm) telephoto zoom lens.
When I came across two Eastern Brown snakes (Pseudonaja textilis) I could get some brief close-up video and keep a safe distance from these extremely dangerous snakes before they disappeared into the grass without trace.
The venom of the Eastern Brown snake is the second-most toxic of all terrestrial snakes in the world.

Australian Red Bull Ants Hunting at Night Attack and Kill Moths
Просмотров 5386 месяцев назад
Giant Red Bull Ants (Myrmecia brevinoda) are the largest ants in Australia and hunt mainly at night and prey on small animals. My spotlight attracts moths and the bull ants ferociously attack the moths with their long and powerful jaws and their venomous rear end stings. The moths are high protein food for adult bull ants and their larvae. Giant Red Bull Ants have very good eyesight and will tr...
Grey Goshawk Takes Charge of the Henhouse and Attacks a Chook

A rare Grey Goshawk (Accipiter novaehollandiae) attacks a chook. The chooks happily coexist with many wild birds but the chooks are terrorised by the powerful and hungry Grey Goshawk. Interesting traffic.
I hope all goes well for you as you travel.
That one was pregnet
Bro he dead...
won't flies escape from those holes than?
Yes. The system is designed for the adult flies to come in and out. The BSFs are attracted to the food only to lay their eggs in the container. The eggs hatch and the larvae eat the food scraps. The larvae change into pupae and are the high quality protein for chickens or other animals.
Stop it had egg in it
Nice footage👍I had wasps in my living room in September and had to get pest control n to get rid of them from under my floor. They were not well and most unusual to get in my living room. Thanks for sharing your video. All the best, Julie
Wow! That's scary. You will feel safer now they are gone. All the best to you too from Morelia Australia.
What are the kids feeding them? There are many of them outside my unit feeding on insects from these trees and I want to befriend one
That's so good you have many willie wagtails at your place. The kids are feeding the willie wagtail rolled oats. Also there is a rubbish bin that attracts lots of flies near the path and the willie wagtails love the flies and have got used to people nearby. I hope you can feed your birds and befriend them.
Hello, they were very focused in searching for a prey and good that you know that they are dangerous.I have the SX60HS and it delivers good quality full hd video and also very interesting for recording birds with 1300mm:50= 26x telezoom and excellent macro.Greetings Gijs 🤠🤠
That's good you have the SX60. You don't need to change lenses going from telezoom to macro. This is good for nature photographers who are often out in the rain or in dusty places. My old camera was a SX50 and it didn't have exposure control during video. Exposure control is a good option on the newer models. Also I like the option of in-camera editing of videos. Sometimes I take very long videos just waiting for the subject to do something interesting then I clip and save the good parts.
👍👌
🐸
Muy bien video . 👌
gracias
Amazing zoom close-ups of these snakes.
Thanks. With all your travels I wonder if you'll ever make it to Australia one day.
Spectacular 🐸
Bro its just a gecko! How nasty can you get
Yes, they are an invasive species taking over Australia and displacing many unique Australian species.
Qué bella!
Bella y peligrosa. Los visitantes e intrusos en mi casa deben tener cuidado.
Toujours à la bonne place comme chez nous😂

Cześć... Fajny filmik 😊
Dziękuję. Mam nadzieję, że wszystko idzie dobrze z tobą.
Beautiful, great capture, thanks for sharing.
Thanks for you good comment. We have a lot of different birds at my place here. Have you seen my playlist of bird videos?
Fantastic close-ups that you managed to capture from a safe distance. 😊
I'm very cautious when I come across large brown snakes like these.
My scaly breasted lorikeet Ms Diva 😘🦜 loves your video.
That's great you have a scaly breasted lorikeet. Have you trained her to do a few tricks? We have a few wild ones around my place here but they are not as common as the rainbows.
😍😍😍😍😍😍😍😍😍
Hello. Are you a moss and fern grower? Have you seen my video 'How to Grow Moss and Ferns on Bricks' ?
This is a very precious and rare video. It must have been difficult to film. I enjoyed watching this valuable video.
Yes, it was difficult to film these dangerous snakes when my knees were shaking.
guys don’t smack them i catch them all the time all you have to do is make sure there still and when it’s completely steal quickly try grab it but do it softly
Good advice.
Raising living things is a noble and great task. Regardless of whether the purpose is edible, ornamental, or loving, it is truly a great thing. This is because handling living things must be done very carefully. Nice video!
Thank you for your good comments. You handle your guitars very carefully and I love your beautiful finger style music. I look forward to enjoying more of your special music.
Do you think you could take some videos of Blue tongued skinks? I love them 😊
Hello. Good to hear from you again. I love Bluetongues too. We have lots of them around here. I'll put this on my list of videos to make one day.
😻😍🤩
cuánta belleza 😍😍
Supongo que te refieres a la rana, no a la persona. Ja ja.
A very nice video on the frogs, and yes, I found the big Nepenthes 🤩. That's a beautiful greenhouse, thanks for the link Morelia and best regards from Germany 🙂.
Oh, I had overlooked this movie. Busy spider, nice movie, but the nature sounds on your farm sound much better than the highway 😁. Greetings from Germany!
Thank you and greetings to you from Morelia Australia.
Siggi would you like to see a glimpse of my Nepenthes in my fern house? Near the end of the video is the Nepenthes. ruclips.net/video/JWxBi-KHh9o/видео.html
Interesting and frightening to learn how dangerous and fast they are. Great captures of these 2 and glad they didn't decide to move in your direction!
I had a big adrenaline surge when I first came across them quite close. I froze and then backed off slowly without disturbing them.
Hi! Beautiful nature. Excellent video my friend. +lk Warm regards.
Thank you and I hope all goes well for you both as you travel.
Congratulations for the video dear friend. The snakes in Australia are mostly venomous, more ericulous than the European ones. All the best, Monica!
Thanks and all the best to you too from Morelia Australia
They are beautiful but I'm glad we don't have huge and deadly snakes here. They look like that can move very fast if they want.
These snakes can be dangerous but most of the snakes around here are harmless Carpet snakes and Green tree snakes.
Me nudos ejemplares .😲
¿Puedes explicar qué es esto?
Good morning Morelia. It is a beautiful pair of snakes that did not go unnoticed, apparently by the cries of birds.😅
The birds help us when they warn us of danger nearby.
Pseudonaja textiles?
The genus name Pseudonaja is latin for false cobra because this species of snake will flatten its neck and rear up and sway from side to side. The species name textilis refers to the woven fabric pattern often seen on these snakes.
Impressive snakes ! ...but then it's not really possible to have a peaceful picnic with the family in Australia ? 😅
This time of the year we have to be careful but in winter we usually don't see them for a few months.
Amazing backyard find! They look as mean as their bite
Yes, they do look mean. I have to walk carefully in my backyard.
❤❤❤
Thanks for your hearts. Have you seen my spider and stick insect playlists? I have been going through some of your interesting playlists. You have done a lot of good work getting those playlists together. Best wishes from Morelia Australia.
Why do housegeckos have 50 names 😭
haha
Hello, a nice movie of you and there is so much to see in this area!! Greetings Gijs😊😊
Greetings Gijs from Morelia Australia. Have you been back to the Maashorst nature reserve lately?
@@MoreliaAustralia Hello, may i know your first name.....? Yes....i go there a least once a week and in springtime 2 or 3 days.It is late summer here and a lot of dragonflies. We have a bird watchpoint here and the migration just started and the birds are flying from the north ( russia, scandinavian) to the south (Western Africa ) and in springtime vice versa. We had a cold and rainy spring but the summer was very good with temperatures between 20 -30 degrees. Thanks for your interest and like to stay in contact with you. How are you doing?😊😊
All is going well here thanks. Lots of spring flowers blooming now after some good rain and all the wildlife is thriving. I use Morelia as my first name on this channel. If you would like to address me by name you can call me Morelia. I hope you see plenty of birds returning to the nature reserve this season. All the dragonflies are a good sign of a healthy ecosystem. The migratory birds should have a good feed there and a good rest and continue their journey and safely make it back again. Do you ever see any of the bison there? I think they are amazing animals.
@@MoreliaAustralia Hello Morelia,well......we have 3 animal species here which are used to graze the area and keep the middle area open. The tauros ( a cow breed ).the exmoor pony and yes......14 european bisons called the wisent and they are behind a wired fence.I am befriend with of the rangers and may go in if i want and did it already several times. I have a lot of footage of these grazers and at some point i will publish it on my channel. Thanks for your question and you live in beautiful natural country with a lot of space for nature- and wildlife.😑😑🤠🤠
That's good you have access to the fenced area. I look forward to more of your videos. I think the big grazing animals are an important part of the ecosystem.
Oh
Picture of the baby gecko
How did you managed to make it stand on its own? Did you used support and then took it out later?
Yes, it had support when it was young. When the trunk thickened I pruned off most of the lower shoots and tip pruned the top and now I regularly prune like this to keep it this size and shape. Have you seen this plant growing where you live?
@@MoreliaAustralia haven't seen it but I'm seeing some being sold online and it's expensive.
It grows very easy from cuttings so if you see someone with a plant you could ask them for a piece and propagate your own. Keep an eye out for the purple flowers when you are out and about.
@@MoreliaAustralia TY, will keep that in mind. If I can't, I'd probably have to save up hehe
I believe it's a cutest bird on earth ever
It's good you like these birds. They are great rat eaters. Have you seen any of my other owl videos? Do you see owls where you live?
I read "how to catch a pet gecko". That smack caught me off guard 😂😂
Hello, very well seen and first there has to be an accident before they do something about it!! Greetings Gijs
Greetings to you from Morelia. I hope you are wrong about an accident.
Good spotting
Looks like a serious safety concern. Maybe a good idea to send this video to the local leadership or a news station?
