Canon PowerShot SX70 Zoom Close-up Deadly Australian Snakes
The Canon PowerShot SX70 HS has an incredibly powerful 65X (1365mm) telephoto zoom lens.
When I came across two Eastern Brown snakes (Pseudonaja textilis) I could get some brief close-up video and keep a safe distance from these extremely dangerous snakes before they disappeared into the grass without trace.
The venom of the Eastern Brown snake is the second-most toxic of all terrestrial snakes in the world.

    • @MoreliaAustralia
      @MoreliaAustralia 11 дней назад

      Yes. The system is designed for the adult flies to come in and out. The BSFs are attracted to the food only to lay their eggs in the container. The eggs hatch and the larvae eat the food scraps. The larvae change into pupae and are the high quality protein for chickens or other animals.

    Hello,they were very focused in searching for a prey and good that you know that they are dangerous.I have the SX60HS and it delivers good quality full hd video and also very interesting for recording birds with 1300mm:50= 26x telezoom and excellent macro.Greetings Gijs 🤠🤠

    • @MoreliaAustralia
      @MoreliaAustralia 18 дней назад

      That's good you have the SX60. You don't need to change lenses going from telezoom to macro. This is good for nature photographers who are often out in the rain or in dusty places. My old camera was a SX50 and it didn't have exposure control during video. Exposure control is a good option on the newer models. Also I like the option of in-camera editing of videos. Sometimes I take very long videos just waiting for the subject to do something interesting then I clip and save the good parts.

      The genus name Pseudonaja is latin for false cobra because this species of snake will flatten its neck and rear up and sway from side to side. The species name textilis refers to the woven fabric pattern often seen on these snakes.
