Wonderful filming and documentation of this large and beautiful Orchard swallowtail. Fantastic illustration of the stages of its growth and scenes of the female laying eggs completing the cycle. Best regards, Cathy
@@MoreliaAustralia Hi Morelia. Yes, but not such amazing butterflies that are found in Australia. Unfortunately, in Sweden, many butterfly species and insects are declining a lot.
Thanks. I was hoping you would comment about the wasp. With only brief text of the main points in my video I thought it would confuse some people if I tried to say what the wasp was doing there. Another pupa that I put in a cage was parasitised by a Tachinid fly and lots of maggots emerged instead of an orchard butterfly. My birdwing vines are doing well this year and there are lots of late season caterpillars nearly ready to pupate.
Such a joy to watch this swallowtail butterfly, it's fascinating to observe them. You filmed it beautifully. Thank you for showing us! Have a great week!
It is a very beautiful and large butterfly and as always your shots are wonderful (the images of its life cycle and... its poop 😄 are wonderful)! Thank you, I wish you a good morning
Thank you. I think slomo is great for butterflies when they are flying. I would love to see some of your butterflies. Can you let me know if you ever put some of your photos and videos on your channel some day?
Beautiful big butterflies! They are like birds flying around. I can`t imagine this in real life as we only have very few and only small butterflies here where I live. They look awesome! The caterpillars also look very big!
Hello,woww....really fantastic to see these slow-motion images and very well filmed. Also a nice portrait of this butterfly and seeing the stages of it.Very well done....Greetings Gijs

A species of butterfly that I had the opportunity to meet.

Very interesting
Beautiful and interesting footage. They are so nice to watch. 🦋😊
We have quite a few Birdwing caterpillars now so we should see plenty of the big Birdwing butterflies in springtime.
Incredible footage of beautiful butterflies😊 Thanks for sharing. //Karl-David
Do you see many butterflies where you are in Sweden?

Awesome captures
Thanks.
Great stuff! You've got the entire life cycle and you even nabbed a parasitic wasp on the pupa (chrysalis). Love the slomo.

Very nicely filmed. I know this butterfly well and it is always a pleasure seeing them flying around. Thank you for sharing🙂👍
We have lots of citrus and wild Flindersia trees here for the caterpillars to feed on.
Amazing video :)

All countries are different and have unique and interesting things to see.

We have many different species of butterflies and one type here is called the Crow Butterfly.
@@MoreliaAustralia I just googled it. It`s beautiful!
