I needed this today because after I did the Tuesday Security Updates on my Win 10 22H2 PC Microsoft somehow upgraded my PC to Win11 24H2 (which I thought wasn't available yet ???) So , using your Video I managed to remove/Disable all the items that worried me about Win11 .I'm now Subscribed and will be following your channel . Cheers !

No mention of needing to be on W11 Pro version. W11 Home versions will not have the gpedit section immediately available.

This video is a life saver Because I was struggling to get rid of the Copilot icon from the Windows Search menu and Edge (despite WinKey + C still opening Edge) But I can rest easy with Copilot essentially nuked from my PC, and I have Registry backed up into an external file I can just import on each update, should each update revert certain registry files

Will an OS update reset all of those settings?

I appreciate all the work put in but gahdam, if I spend 1/3rd of pc time just undoing and re-setting the hidden boondoggles that mikrocrap keeps re-setting then what is the point. really. I may still keep remnants of w11 but all the aggravation and reg-hax not yet learned are not productive. If my resume said I learned how to make winders work like a device is supposed to and it only took three years, then what is the point, really.

I just saw this video today, I tried it but didn't work at all. I called up PFS and they asked me t install the PFS app to install the plugins. the PFS app wouldn't even open! I'm using am M# MacStudio with OSX 14.5 😥

I finally successfully removed Bing but I wanted everyone to know that (apparently) the Windows 11 on my computer in the U.S. didn't mirror the file (drop-down) organization in your video, which I assume was bought in the U.K. I found your strategy spot-on but I had to search around to find the exact settings I needed to change. My 5 year old machine hasn't been this spry in ages -- thank you!
