When someone says I lost my place or train of thought, your suppose to review and repeat what they said because that shows you care about what they are saying. Ignoring their asking for help and changing the subject is just rude and it shows lack of interest and concern.

Thank you Fr. Heilman, Bear Woznick, & Doug for this needed podcast. My father was the godfather of our family and because of him all my brothers became men. My mother was secretly the heart of the family. My son's wife was put in hospice one year after their marriage and he took full care of her at home for two years and she made it out and lived another 5 healthy years only to go into hospice at home again and this time she died in a week. I am proud of all my brothers and my son for being strong physical prayerful men and loving and respecting their wives. All of these men start their morning with their wives in a prayer. I love June because of the Sacred Heart. My birthday is tomorrow and Fr. Heilman's was just a few days back, two more reasons to love June. ❤🙏

With self-mastery should be emphasized equally men performing actual acts of chivalry, ie get the door for women, and not just a woman for whom you have romantic feelings/your wife (although they should absolutely be included.) Develop the habits of doing acts of honor directly towards women. Pushing the chair in for women, helping them carry their bags at the store, letting them go first, and offering an umbrella...

Too many women are pushing men away. I feel bad for men that want to do great things and be wonderful and supportive of their wives. When women want to take the place of a man, that is a problem. They want control. It's nice not having to be in control all the time, let our husbands help us and love us in the proper way. I just heard an old country song a few days ago, I had forgotten about. The lyrics say, "I believe pride is the chief cause, in the decline in the number of husbands and wives.". Boy is that true!

I was just contemplating this morning on 2 wicked men in the bible, Haman and Pontius Pilate and their wives. Even the wives of wicked men were help mates but they were too proud to listen to them. Both women said in their own way "have nothing to do with that righteous man nothing good will come of it" .. they disregarded the counsel of their helpmate that was sent to give them a way out, a safe harbor, but were disregarded to their own detriment. God is good even to unjust men, .. how much more to the righteous.

P0rn has destroyed families, relationships, etc. It can be so hurtful to a women for her to find out her significant other is viewing that stuff despite her making herself available for her spouse/significant other. It degrades the relationship in so many ways. It’s a cancer in our culture.

"Root of it was the pill" did marginalize the man. It was a result of woman's lib movement and putting down men. Men who are now 60 years old were raised in this time.

Mr. Woznick makes some interesting points, but he seems at least a little out of touch with the struggles of modern men and women. I say this as a coach myself. Many men today are trying to do everything they can for their women (and families), and their wives (or girlfriends) are not appreciative, often put them down and then play the victim. Some then have affairs or simply divorce them outright (if married). Consider that approx. 70% of divorces are filed by women according to recent US data (need to verify this, but it's from a reasonably reliable source). I know this plight deeply, both first and second-hand. I don't think this gentleman has enough exposure to the real struggles of men today (below the age of 50). Perhaps the most toxic elements affecting relationships today as per my experience are Marxist Feminism and AI, together with the propaganda that goes with them. Many women don't even "want a man to surf with them" anymore, to extend the metaphor. And the propaganda has done a remarkable job of convincing them that they're better off "surfing alone." Finally, and as a nail in the coffin of many marriages, the economic environment is very challenging for men (and marriages) for a number of reasons, not least of which is the brutal and deliberate reduction in labour in favour of technology, especially mobile technology. So, this is not just a social and spiritual issue; it is also an economic one. A recent interview with Prof. Brad Wilcox by Lila Rose revealed that when a man loses his job, his odds of getting divorced increase by 30% - yes, 30%. So, while men do need to treat women right (and better in some cases), this is largely a red herring -- the struggles are much broader and deeper than that. Thanks for the video. God bless.

Apparently the Bear has not experienced the reality of No Fault Divorce. You see Bear? Me, many of my friends killed themselves for their families. Led them to church and the Rosary. One thing I find difficult about prophecies is how much is symbolic and how much is literal? I figure the answer is always repenting, the rosary, and sacrifices, so that is what I focus on.
