The seven promises given to St Bridget of Sweden for those who devote themselves to her Seven Sorrows.

What an awesome trio!!! I have been leading RCIA at my home parish for 2yrs i want you all to know how you have helped me share and understand my faith but i know its by Gods grace that i have done this.....I love you all you are my strength and inspiration everyweek!!! not trying to offend you but why would your parish pick you to lead RCIA of all things, if you didnt even know your faith well?? the reason I ask is because a parish by me picked a DRE just because she's great when she is "on" i guess that means she is good with people, but she really didnt know much about Catholicism. so sad.

@@margaretadamson6239I think the person was, simply, pointing out that many who are teaching Catechism really do not know the Faith as we should. There was a time when a person couldn’t even receive Sacraments without knowing the Baltimore Catechism, throughout. What we have in some dioceses, now, is flotsam. In my own is something called “Sycamore”. Never even heard of it, but it’s a few DVD’s and from what I heard from another parishioner…”no time for questions” during the classes.

I believe I’ve had an illumination of conscience. I was thinking.. yeah I have this heaven thing in my back pocket. But God revealed something different and brought me to my knees. Recently I’ve heard the Holy Spirit tell me to work towards holiness.

Father Alar’s videos were a massive part of my reversion to the faith in 2021. At the time I hated motherhood , and I was always angry at my husband. I was angry at my vocation in general. I felt like a disenfranchised victim most days. I did not practice my faith and I barely attended mass. My home was in disarray… there was no order in my marriage. I could go on and on. By the grace of God, I found Father’s videos. They shook me awake. My husband and I both returned to the sacraments. We have since welcomed 2 more children, whereas before I would’ve said no to such a gift. Father Alar I hope you see this, THANK YOU. I am the happiest I have ever been. I am a Catholic mother, a Catholic wife. I am a daughter of God. And by His grace I try every day to work towards sainthood. AVE MARIA!

We're living in the end-times, so, naturally, the whole culture is at odds with a truly Catholic life. Michael Hitchborn (of the Lepanto Institute) told about the time he was on a plane and was having a pleasant conversation with a woman. That is, until the topic of children came up, and he mentioned that he had 7 of them. She became angry and replied, ''Seven what?!''
Back to your testimony, I was raised in a Catholic household, my father was/is a very devout, orthodox, daily mass going Catholic. But I never saw him joyful, happy and at peace. I've never seen first-hand the healing/restoring power of God, although I've often *begged* God for deep, deep healing (of myself), but not much, if anything, came of it. So it's good to hear of one life totally transformed by prayer. As a result of often turning to God and not getting much as a result, I've grown quite angry, bitter and jaded with the whole God thing. Oh well.

I think the key to my reversion was realizing that I would suffer a lot in the office I’ve been called to as a mother and a wife and yet even in that suffering, I may grow closer to Christ. I was not promised a life of joy or pleasantry here on earth, but rather a spot next to my Lord in the Kingdom of Heaven where there will finally be no more suffering.
That being said, my suffering here no longer seems like suffering most days. I have chronic pain from autoimmune issues, I do most, if not all of the house work, and spend the majority of my time serving my husband or my small children. I come last right now and offer it all to God. I will pray for you ok? I don’t know who you are, but I love you and I hope you find joy in your suffering, knowing that we may one day be Saints if we live it well ❤️ I will hurt with you and pray with you.

For adult children of divorce, there is a wonderful ministry called "Life-giving Wounds". I have joined this ministry and it is so wonderful to talk with other adult children of divorce to air out our wounds from what happened to us when our families were broken, and journey together for healing through redemptive suffering of Christ. I pray all pastors seeing this will welcome this ministry into their parishes. The wounds of children of divorce are very deep and hidden, we have no one to talk to about it except others who have endured it. God bless you.

Sometimes divorce is better for the children, especially when the father is verbally abused by the mom in front of the children.
Thank you for sharing about this group. Unfortunately my son and I don’t speak at the moment due to so many factors including my own sin. It is so important for children or divorce (especially if parents aren’t able to co-parent well) to heal by connecting with others, growing in forgiveness and uniting their cross to the cross of Christ. Praying for all children of divorce, it is not easy being caught in the crossfire.
I was lucky that my parents had a loving marriage. I have seen where many have suffered through divorce. Many times the Father loses connection with his family. He remarries and starts a new family. Sadly, he ignores his children from his first marriage. That is disgraceful

Thank you for posting this video. I have so much to thank Fr Chris Alar, Fr Donald Callaway & the entire Marian Fathers for re.educating me to the catholic faith when i returned back to my catholic roots - been away for 25 yrs, feels like i had a spiritual comatose, their videos on the Divine Mercy youtube channel helped me immensely & that included the development of my prayer life as ive joined their holy rosary & divine mercy prayers. Huge thank you to all the Marian fathers, i also joined the Association of Marian helpers, i have you all in my prayers everyday. Im contemplating now kn joining the third order carmelites, God allowing.

My parish doesn't have the devotion. I'm going to ask our Priest to start. I went to the vigil and confession prior, but I don't believe it's the same.

So many of us were at home, alone, no one to commune with, and suddenly, by the Grace of God, we found all three, and special talks, and prayers on First Friday. and First Saturdays. Just to let you know I had a friend recommend your program. I think it's phenomenal I've been watching for several months now. It is amazing that all of my family has fallen away from the church. I'm the only one of my 3 brothers that have had my children baptized and still believe. I always seem to have challenges in my life that are difficult. My brothers have given up their faith and have everything they want. It seems like Satan is attacking me everyday and blessing my brothers with whatever they want. I've come to believe that The Great deceiver makes sure life is easier for my brothers so that they don't pray to God for help. Have talked to them and they just don't believe anymore.. Any devout Catholic will be severely under attack especially if they are living the Sacramental Life. Satan and his minions won't bother wasting time on anyone that isn't following Jesus. It is always a good sign if you are under attack from the enemy...constantly ask The Saints, Mother Mary, Jesus and your guardian angel to help you. I think you should do the 33 day Consecration to Mary so that she can pour graces on your life especially where you need them the most. God bless you...

Priests need to speak about modesty from the pulpit. Every church needs to have a dress code prominently displayed at every entrance of the church and chapel.

I listened to the recordings of Annalise Michael possession, the DEVIL SAID YOU FOOLS TAKE THE HOST IN YOUR PAWS , AND THE DEVIL LAUGHED BECAUSE WE ARE DOING HIS WORK ! I never take communion in the hand , I would kneel down but my knees won't allow me , I wish the church would bring back the Kneelers, so remember next time you take communion you are taking it in your paws and doing the devils work .

I have said this before, but I don’t think many know about this. In 2011 in the middle of their fridges winter, over a million Russians waited in line for over 24 hours in this weather, to kiss the sash of Mary at a church. I think they were converted in my humble opinion. Here in the west we would never do that I don’t believe, even in 70 degree weather.
Indeed Russia was a used as a punishment and will be used as a source of conversion and blesding for the world. I think 2029 is important. 1929 was when Our Lady told Sister Lucia at Tuy that the time had come for the Consecration. When the pope did not do the Consecration Our Lord appeared to Sister Lucia one or two years later and complained. He said that when the King of France was told to consecrate France to the Sacred Heart, he did not do so and he mentioned the period of one hundred years. In fact, it was exactly 100 years to the day that the King was asked to consecrate France to the Sacred Heart until the fall of the French Monarchy.

Part of the Our Lady of Good Success prophecy received from Our Lady stated above refers to one who remains silent. In all the discussions of this prophecy I have not heard anyone comment on this. I would like to hear some discussion about this statement.

In the '60s many television shows were written and designed without moral truth and seemed to do nothing but promote and objectify a sexualized lifestyle in contrast to the pillar of the church and the family.

In a recent presentation on Father Gobbi and Father Muir, the host at Mother Refuge of the end Times program said Conchita looked at her newborn sister and exclaimed how darkened her soul was. She could see how a newborn needed baptism! All four girls of Garabandal had their children baptized within A few days of their births.
Our parish added confession times. and there is always a line. I go weekly now.
Even some (non-Catholic) academics agree. Circa 1980, my doctoral fellowship mentor observed, “As goes the nuclear family, so goes society. Destroy the traditional family unit? And society’s demise will follow.” Kyrie Eleison.

We used to do the Five First Saturdays at my parish 50 years ago. I have asked the parish Priest to start them again. He said there was no interest. Seems to me he he should explain so there IS an interest in the First Five Saturdays..pray for our Parish.

The decline in mass attendance here in Ireland is a result of church abuse on a massive scale. This needs to be addressed. People’s lives were ruined and the faithful Catholic spirit which pervaded this country when I was growing up was all but destroyed. Practically obliterated. All the evil practises that are evident in todays society in Ireland followed from the church scandals. I personally know men whose lives are still in turmoil over what was done to them by Catholic priests. How do we come back from that?
Evil attacks what is True the hardest, and many priests fell hard. That doesn’t make the church bad, just the priests.
Turning to God and healing is important.
Maybe the Rosary, and let Mary guide them back?

Look - it was purposefully blown out of proportion. There is miniscule se xual abuse in catholic church compared to almost everywhere else. There is much higher percentage of teachers se xually abusing children, pediatricians, protestants schools - than catholic priests.
I recommend to search the numbers. We still go to see doctors we still don ´t leave education. Because nowhere it had been blown up only in catholic church - where it´s very small percentage compared to other institutions.
It´s bit like with opression of women. I was so angry about horrible oppression of women done by catholic church which I accepted as a dogma by woke crowd.
Then I got out of that propaganda and looked at actual history - no one told me in schools and found out it was just a lie or some cases which were again blown out of proportion by making them a rule even though it was just few individual cases. I got really angry for being lied to.
If people are leaving the church because of abuses, they need to be consistent and never ever go to see a doctor or enrol in any kind of school... Or enter sports. Or be part of a family because the most number of abuses happens by family member...
In the places I came and went they were students that believed in God. There was always someone

Can the preaching in the Temple, mean, the Temple is the Church?
I heard a modified liturgy will be rolled out this Advent that will be “more inclusive.” Doesn’t sound like a good direction at all.

I was born in 1968 and can remember going to public school, third grade the school took us on a field trip to the Catholic Church down the street. I. I agree about some people not knowing about the first Friday's and I have to say that they do not tell the Hispanics about it. Many do not know and yes there are still some parishes that do not have Mass on Saturdays. They will have 5 p.m. Mass which that is counted for Sunday. Some of the reason is shortage of priests. BUT there are priest that are canceled. It's always that fight within.
There are two different devotions!
First Fridays is one, and First Saturdays is another.
First Fridays should be 9 consecutive first Fridays, and first Saturdays is confession, a rosary, Mass, and 15 minutes of contemplation, for 5 first Saturdays.
Neither has been promoted much in the past few decades!
Saint Padre Pio and Fr Rodriquez goes in detail about the 3 days of darkness and the Blessed Mother said to save up food and water for 3 mos and include out animals. It’s in the Bible about 1/3 will die. Many will come but few are chosen. We are supposed to get holy blessed candles for they will be the only light we can make.
