The seven promises given to St Bridget of Sweden for those who devote themselves to her Seven Sorrows.
1. I will grant peace to their families.

Please o please bring the tabernacles back to the Alters as Fr. Calloway states. Please bring back the Alter Rails and let's face our Lord with respect and attention. He is there and we need to change our actions THEN our attitudes and hearts will follow.

Two Carmelite priest came to Our Lady of the Springs church and the first thing they did was move the tabernacle to the center of the Alter and ceremonially installed a large statue of Our Lady of Mount Carmel. The increase in respect was almost instant. They also brought back adoration and increased the confession times. It was as if a dead church had come back alive.❤🙏
PLEASE HOLY FATHER BRING BSCK THE TABERNACLE TO THE ALTER. THE PRIEST MUST, I SAY MUST FACE THE TABERNACLE AND SAY THE MASS NOT HAVE HIS BACK AT THE TABERNACLE AND EUCHARIST.

My daughter just got on a catholic podcast sharing her conversion and experience she had in front of the Eucharist adoration. I can’t share the experience because I don’t have permission for that but I will tell you this as a mom I’m the one who got the phone call when she left the chapel and got in her car. I thought she got in a car accident because she called me crying so hard..like a child begging me to believe her and I will never forget how that felt for me. I just knew I knew she was telling the truth. She’s had a conversion from the adult entertainment Industry, she is now in sanctifying grace. I am so grateful for God‘s mercy. The most profound thing she kept saying is, he’s real he’s really there people need to know he’s actually really there the veil is so thin. Every time she tells it she cries she can’t help it for some reason she tries not to, but she always cries.

We used to go to norvos ordo my kids hated it! We switched to TLM now my kids teens love it that they even became altar boys!

As someone who attends Mass at a parish within the diocese of Orange, I pray that the bishops who were featured in the film do something to bring reverence to our Lord. My parish does not even have the Holy Tabernacle front and center despite our many, many requests and pleads!!!!!
I will add your request to my prayer list as when they moved our Tabernacle back into the area behind the alter it caused a tremendous increase of reverence & respect. 💔🙏

I like what you said about spiritual starvation. I have seen this in my own 8 sons. Sometimes, they articulate it without realizing it. They talk of being an empty shell and not fitting anywhere.
The way society is going now days, they might wise in not fitting in. Praying they find a good group of caring and holy friends to let them know how much they are worth. 🙏🙏🙏
I’m wondering if these Catholics (who are going to Mass) are observing how the priest and the altar server etc. move about the sanctuary and around the altar. Do they show by their actions that this IS the Christ. Example: The way they handle the Eucharist, the way they clean the vessels, if they are careful using only the thumb and fore finger, if they cover the chalice at the appropriate times and how they preach about how to receive Jesus in communion.
Father Heilman. You are on fire, when you speak about the Eucharist and the forthcoming renewal in the Catholic Church.
Check out Bryce Crawford, 20 yrs old . Spreading the Father’s love after a personal encounter the night he contemplated suicide. Not Catholic but it would not take much to draw him to Jesus in the Eucharist. From Georgia, ministering now on the streets of LA. Youth are emulating him & taking Jesus to the streets.

I wish there was a way we could model how we should enter the sanctuary. I wish we could make the people feel like they are in heaven amongst the Angels and Saints. perhaps the pastor could put a sign at the door of the sanctuary telling people that this is a silent holy place as soon as they enter.

Loved the movie, but lacks action in what is the Church going to do to change anything! If the communion rails and receiving only on the tongue are not brought back and showing reverence to the Holy Eucharist.

A friend and I, last week, went to see the documentary. It was very good, however; I’m wondering if anyone else had the problem that we did. We were disappointed because ALL the subtitles were in Spanish. We could not understand what was being said in at least, half of the film. Only when the American authors and priests spoke could we understand.
I left the theater to tell someone that there was something was wrong, but nothing changed Everyone watching in the theater felt confused.
We think there was an English version that should have been shown.
We certainly felt cheated of much of the wonderful things that were portrayed in this film.
For sure, the enemy didn’t want us to hear the whole message.
I think on Thursday there were Spanish subtitles. Tuesday and Wednesday was in English

In Buffalo, NY the English version was on Tuesday and Wednesday, Thursday was in Spanish.
Great podcast as Always Fr H -The one thing that has not been addressed is Receive God on your knees , at the rail, on the tongue. No more Eucharistic Ministers-no in the hand. The reverence disappeared after those changes. Its the "elephant in the room"

I THIRST FOR YOU.
It is true. I stand at the door of your heart, day and night. Even when you are not listening, even when you doubt it could be Me, I am there: waiting for even the smallest signal of your response, even the smallest suggestion of an invitation that will permit Me to enter.
I want you to know that each time you invite Me, I do come always, without fail. Silent and invisible I come, yet with a power and a love most infinite, bringing the many gifts of My Spirit. I come with My mercy, with My desire to forgive and heal you, with a love for you that goes beyond your comprehension.

I know you like the palm of my hand. I know everything about you. Even the hairs of your head I have counted. Nothing in your life is unimportant to Me. I have followed you through the years and I have always loved you even when you have strayed. I know every one of your problems. I know your needs and your worries and yes, I know all your sins.
But I tell you again that I love you, not for what you have or ceased to do, I love you for you, for the beauty and the dignity My Father gave you by creating you in His own image. It is a dignity you have often forgotten, a beauty you have tarnished by sin. But I love you as you are, and I have shed My Blood to rescue you. If you only ask Me with faith, My grace will touch all that needs changing in your life: I will give you the strength to free yourself from sin and from all its destructive power.
I know what is in your heart, I know your loneliness and all your wounds, the rejections, the judgments, the humiliations, I carried it all before you. And I carried it all for you, so you could share My strength and My victory. I know, above all, your need for love, how much you are thirsting for love and tenderness. Yet, how many times have you desired to satisfy your thirst in vain, seeking that love with selfishness, trying to fill the void within you with passing pleasures, with the even greater emptiness of sin.
Do you thirst for love?
“Come to Me all you who thirst … ” (John 7:37).I will satisfy you and fill you.
Do you thirst to be loved?
I love you more than you can imagine … to the point of dying on a cross for you.
I THIRST FOR YOU. Yes, that is the only way to even begin to describe My love for you.
I THIRST FOR YOU. I thirst to love you and to be loved by you. So precious are you to Me that I THIRST FOR YOU. Come to Me, and I will fill your heart and heal your wounds. I will make you a new creation and give you peace even in your trials.
I THIRST FOR YOU.
You must never doubt My mercy, My desire to forgive, My longing to bless you and live My life in you, and that I accept you no matter what you have done.
I THIRST FOR YOU.
If you feel of little value before the eyes of the world, it doesn’t matter. There is no one that interests me
in the whole world than you.
I THIRST FOR YOU.
Open up to Me, come to Me, thirst for Me, give me your life. I will prove to you how important you are for My Heart.
Don’t you realize that My Father already has a perfect plan to transform your life, beginning from this moment? Trust in Me. Ask Me every day to enter and take charge of your life and I will. I promise you before My Father in Heaven that I will work miracles in your life. Why would I do this?
Because I THIRST FOR YOU.
All I ask of you is that you entrust yourself to Me completely. I will do all the rest. From this moment, now, I behold the place My Father has prepared for you in My Kingdom. Remember that you are a pilgrim in this life traveling back home. Sin can never satisfy you, or bring the peace you seek. All that you have sought outside of Me has only left you more empty, so do not tie yourself to the things of this world; above all, do not run from Me when you fall.
Come to Me without delay because, when you give Me your sins, you give Me the joy of being your Savior.
There is nothing I cannot forgive and heal; so come now, and unburden your soul.
No matter how far you have strayed without a destination, no matter how often you have forgotten Me,
no matter how many crosses you bear in this life; I want you to always remember, one thing that will never change.
I THIRST FOR YOU - just you, as you are.
You don’t need to change to believe in My love, for it will be your confidence in that love that will make you change. You forget Me, and yet I am seeking you every moment of the day - standing before the doors of your heart and calling.
Do you find this difficult to believe? If so, look at the Cross, look at My Heart that was pierced for you.
Have you not understood My Cross? Then listen again to the words I spoke there, for they tell you clearly why I endured all this for you:

As the rest of the psalm, I was praying says of Me: “… I waited uselessly for compassion, I waited
for someone to console me and I did not find it.” (Psalm 69: 20).
All your life I have been desiring your love. I’ve never ceased searching for your love and longing to be loved by you in return. You have tried many things in your goal to be happy. Why not try opening up for Me your heart, right now, more than you ever have before?
When you finally open the doors of your heart and you finally come close enough, you will then hear Me say again and again, not in mere human words but in spirit: “No matter what you have done, I love you for your own sake. Come to Me with your misery and your sins, with your problems and needs, and with all your desire to be loved.

Not everything Father Calloway teaches is shown on the movie, it’s too long and confusing, no answer to the people in the streets that they interviewed so frustrating, I felt it was a waist of resources and my time :(
The whole movie was an answer to the people in the streets, the approx 70 percent who dont believe or understand.

Then we must all receive on the tongue, kneeling, from a Priests consecrated hands only. Because Jesus deserved these honors.

I saw the movie and it was wonderful. However, friends went the next day only to learn the theatre in town cancelled it. Worse yet, here we are in the Indianapolis area and the film was not promoted by our archdiocese or even my parish. I only learned about it on EWTN. I hope it comes out on DVD soon because it would be good to share in RCIA. I was the only one who stayed through the credits (normal for me) and was rewarded with the Knights of Columbus video.
Thanks for sharing about the Knights of Columbus video at the end after the credits. I always stay for credits but the person I am taking with me doesn't and now I will make sure they will.🥰

Seen the movie last week. Going to see it again next week with my husband.
Jesus had to refuse the narcotic used in the wine. His suffering had to be of the pure passion and without spiritual flaw. I never watch religiouse movies since there is always something eronious in what certain scriptutes will say.... to explain this is that so many Bibles are translated differently, I stick with my Benedict DR and this to me is so clear and truer. As far as not feeling the real Presence, this is simply Depression and this easily understood by all the Vatican preasures going on these days. Than You
I came back to my faith about 2 years ago. Via confession and Sunday Eucharist I felt a stronger pull. In beginning of June I was doing the sacred heart novena and I went to church every day. By day 7 I found myself weeping in my pew. I had intended on only going to mass everyday for the novena but now that it’s over I can not stop myself from going everyday. I can’t explain it but what I do know is that it is too beautiful to resist.
I saw the movie Jesus Thirst it was great. The best part was the mini movie about the Virgin of Guadalupe after the movie credits.
Cardinal Burke has a nine month novena going on right now for Our Lady of Guadalupe. He is still asking people to hop on board as prayer is so needed.🥰

Sadly, this movie contains Communion in the hand, and the Priest facing the people during the Consecration. It also shows Medjugorje - an unapproved apparition. Communion in the hand has diminished belief in the Real Presence. The Priest facing the people during the Consecration does not accurately display the correct theology. Showing a Mass at an unapproved apparition which involved so much disobiedence is not good either.
I agree with you there are much more things that I notice were wrong, I’m not promoting this movie.

The trailer shows the Priest with his back to God, National Catholic Register wrote that Medjugorje is featured in it...plus numerous people who have seen it stated that there is Communion in the hand. I wouldn't for a minute waste my money on that type of garbage...
@monicamohan4720 First, the Novus Ordo Mass is valid. Secondly, Medjugorje has not been condemned, and the movie spent very little time at that location. Thirdly, the movie shows many comminicants receiving on the tongue.🙏🌹

Long story short, I have had this experience with Eucharist Particles, after receiving our Lord Jesus Christ, during pandemic 😷. Small and one big Eucharist Particles were glowing beautifully in the sandwich bag, where I stored the water bottle cup! I have used it to avoid receiving Jesus in the hand! 🤴 ❤🙏

The movie would have been SOOOOOO much better , more impacttfil, more meaningful if there had been English subtitles... could not understand more than 1/2 of the movie ....sadly.

How can this be so easily misunderstood? We are to glorify God in our bodies through everything we think, feel, say, and do. But man says it is about eating, drinking, and taking care of yourself. However, the kingdom of God is not about meat and drink, but righteousness, peace, and joy in the Holy Spirit (Romans 14:17).
In Mark 7:14-15, Jesus said nothing that enters the body can defile it, but what comes out of the heart. Even the drinking of wine is not a sin-*_drunkeness_* is. For God made wine to gladden the hearts of man (Ecclesiastes 10:19, Psalms 104:15, Proverbs 31:6, Judges 9:13). Simply put, do what God said through Jesus and you will live.
This film had too much NO and not enough Latin traditional Mass. not enough communion on the tongue.
I was pleased to see so many receiving on the tongue. Glass half full, not half empty.🙏🌹
Seriously?? Do you know how reverent my & countless NO parishes are?? And did Jesus tell the apostles to offer TLM mass?? I could go on!!

The very basic problem is that no one treats Jesus as though He's actually present in the Blessed Sacrament and it causes a tremendous loss of faith.

It's above the level of a young child who hasn't reached the "age of reason."
One of the things I've had to wonder about these past few years is. Is it legitimate to make a movie to bring people back into the faith If it was funded using money that was gained immorally Or unjustly? Supposedly, as Catholics we are supposed to uphold that the means do not justify the end. I guess I'm asking if we did make a movie. Where the funds were gained immorally and unjustly, but it brought a lot of people into the church. What would christ think about this ultimately?

The disciples were seated at table at the last super and didn't kneel or receive Jesus on their tongues. Maybe we should all sit at a table and the priest could pass the Communion around in a basket like He did at the last super. Some were married.
The Twelve were the first priests. The Last Supper was their ordination. Peter had a mother-in-law, but no mention of his wife or any other Apostle's wife. Peter was probably a widower.
