OMG the “any reason is good enough” brought back childhood memories from the 50’s when little girls wore those cute gathered waist dresses with stiff net petticoats sewn onto the inside waistband. They were cute, but irritated the skin around my waist. I cried when my mother would make me wear them to school because I knew I’d be miserable all day. This is the first time (but not the last) I remember her telling me, “Oh, the price of beauty…” To this day if anything itches, scratches, is too tight, or is uncomfortable for any reason, I don’t wear it.

I totally get the decision fatigue and the stalling! Oh man!

Love your intentionality! I don’t thrift much clothing, our Goodwill prices are high and there are no dressing rooms to try things on. I prefer charity or church shops but the volume and turnover is slower. I’m taking a cue from you and doing some boards with ideas.

I have a suggestion for you. It’s something I have done myself. I found a cardigan I loved but the buttons were not very stylish. I bought it and decided to get nice gold or brass bottoms for it. Man they are expensive to buy these days. But I thrifted a cardigan that had nice bottoms and was not even my size and since it had more bottoms that I needed, I was able to add buttons to the sleeves too!

I'm an occasional tucker 😜 I hope you managed to remove the stains from your top. If not, if it is still sunny where you live try placing it in direct sunlight whilst still damp. I find the sun a good stain remover.

This is too funny. My hubby disappeared this afternoon & I found him in our closet going through all of his clothes bagging up all the ones he no longer wears or fits. So of course I plunged in too. We both finished our clothing, but still had to tackle our clothes. We filled up 5 contractor plastic bags! I had said years ago, if I bring something in, something must be donated. completely agree on the acrylic material! it is not breathable so i am always hot when i wear a garment made of acrylic. this fall i’ll be purging most synthetic fabrics from my wardrobe!

This patio turned out lovely! I think a portable fire pit would be nice maybe in the grass area by it. You could also add some citronella candles to your coffee table for extra bug repellent ❤

Love your videos! It's powdery mildew on your beautiful zinnias. If you spray them a couple of times a week with neem oil, it should help keep that away. You can purchase premixed neem oil or purchase neem oil and mix with water according to the package directions. It has always worked really well for me with zinnias and other plants prone to powdery mildew like zinnias. Always enjoy your videos!
