Having had one of these, I’d have to disagree about the steering being razor sharp. I found I had to wrestle mine into fast tight corners, try the gen 3 s1000R or the gen 3 superduke 1290. They turn in much quicker 👊✊️✊️

Try a little less attitude and you might find a different police experience

Came here from the tuono video...im struggling with thumb pain on my blade now sometimes after only ten miles but my heart is in sports bikes since my kr1 back in 1990. Don't like the look of super nakeds maybe ill add a tuono. Not ready for an adv bike yet

I hate V4 engines, they always cook your bollocks... Inline four is the best engine for sports bikes on the street manufacturers! That said I hate sports bikes now I'm getting older, I never thought the day would come but all my bones ache now as I rode my body too hard and I'm only 40 lol. All the accidents and bone breaks are catching up with me and now I just like a good cruiser with a sofa for a seat lol.

Great review I bought a black Speed 400 recently, I downsized and I'm absolutely loving it. The Gold forks superbly match the black tank, the whole retro look with the aluminum side panels and badges is brilliant, well done Triumph. The bike is easily manoverable at 170kg, 80mpg, £5000, upright riding seat position, easily flat foot it at 5'8" and the 40hp is ample for what i need. 🙂👌 PS: Only thing I'll change is get the seat made softer, age thing and a rad guard.

What a git of a copper!! Saying that I had a twat in Edinburgh who chased after me with sirens and all going. He pulled alongside me and shouted "pull over". This young twat was on his first week of patrol and was out to impress his mates. At first I had no idea what he was stopping me for but it seems that filtering through traffic and coming to a pelican crossing its illegal to pull away ahead of the first two cars at the crossing (it was a two lane each way road)Anyway this clown was very happy at handing me a 100 quid fine and 3 points and proudly said "your one of my very first customers". I just looked at him and gave him with a very dirty look. Think he got the message. Sometimes power just goes to their heads and its times like this when I dislike the police and idiots like this who give them a bad name.

Did you get a ticket? Younshould have pleaded not guilty, he couldn't see that the tractor trailers had no nimber plates, how could he see whether yours were legal or not.

Not a great conversation - Officer was out of order but you have no defence by using the "these are used in Moto GP" line - slick tyres are used in Moto GP but there is a reason they are not used on UK roads. I would say the officer was over zealous and in fairness he probably goes home to suckle on his moms breast milk at the end of the day. I would say it is poor policing but i also understand they want riders to be legal.

police man was just not the smartest and of course thats whats in the police force these days and abusing their power.........and then ignoring the tractors with no plates...discrimination against visitors as he was not prepared to summons his own people in his own area...corruption.

Police are given discretion, and as I see it how they apply that discretion is an indicator of their competence. Sadly, many of these people are condescending and not very good at public facing jobs. This particular specimen is nothing more than a tool. He would just about meet the competence requirement to hand out the empty tray for your coat at airport security.

So hang on ,one minute you're having a pop at farmers for not having number plates on trailers. then you say cop should be helping farmers in an advisory way to prevent theft ! . Did the trailer need a number plate ? You didn't say , perhaps they didn't need ,some do some don't . Added to this the plate on the trailer doesn't need to match the tractor towing it ,they do need to be owned by the same person .I'm no fan of the police ,and no fan of people who antagonise them ,you'd have been gone quicker iff you just nodded and said yes or no .hard and all as it is. The issue I have is that you skirt around the fact you have illegal number plates and try and make out the police was in the wrong. If you had legal plates I'm sure no ticket would have been issued.
