Have you tried the Abergwesyn Pass.....that is superp..you can join it in Llandovery and see the lakes at Llyn Brianne. The Pass goes from Tregaron ..also can head to The Epynt Mountains once in Abergwesyn. Great Vid.
I thought by _West Wales_ you'd be in my neck of the woods but you're barely scratching the surface. Awesome roads round here - Ceredigion, Powys etc. - but they are flippin dangerous too!
Ah yes, we’ve def got some more trips planned to cover more of Mid Wales. Found an awesome route around Newcastle Emlyn which I really liked, and anywhere near `Aberystwyth seems to be amazing. Always open to suggestions for good roads👍 But as you say, you do need to have your whits about you, easy to get carried away!
@@mattbikes46 The A44 from Aba to Leominster is quite a challenge - mixture of fast mountain roads with switchbacks and hairpins that jump out at you. Speed limits have ruined a lot of great roads, I don't mind slowing down and cruising but HATE getting tailgated by idiots who've caught me up within the limit!

Nice one, I've ridden parts of that I think. But you're right about the speed limits and the bad behaviors it brings.
