This would almost certainly be against your better judgement. There’s almost no reason for buying their jacket specifically and ample reason not to squander your money. Those horween leather trims are simply not worth it. I also feel like I have to reiterate my response to someone on RA2’s channel, which was cowardly censored even tho there was nothing too terrible about it, so here we go: There's leather jackets fully made of horween leather that are less than half the price of this one. Horween leather might be more expensive, but not to the extent as many overpriced companies would want you to believe, especially so if it's just leather trims. How much horween do you need for that? A case in point would be collaboration ‘Schott X 3sixteen 20th anniversary’ jacket. Not only was it entirely made of horween, but also horween made a very special chromexcel leather specifically for them and it still was twice as cheap as this one. BUT IT’S HANDMADE: ALL of them are handmade. And many of them are made in the uk: aero and Eastman, just to name a couple. That statement doesn't even mean anything outside of marketing the product. And then they do what, sit there with a needle and sew it together by hand?! I doubt that. And those are just two fairly priced brands amongst many others making them in all sorts of different styles including more modern ones. The Connecticut X Carl Murawski shearling jacket, for example, arguably has better hardware for significantly cheaper. And to their argument about the number of shearling skins their back is just single panel. Although many people would claim it’s not necessarily a better thing to do. The real McCoy and such... well, Japan has an interesting market and value things differently, especially when it comes to leather industry over there. Some Japanese people are fanatics and are more than ready to pay ridiculous premium just for the legacy of the brand. there's, of course, few more things to consider (stitching, hardware true to the originals and so on and so forth), whereas goral made only sneakers JUST YESTERDAY. But already have a bigger appetite than some of the established brands with rich history and expertise in this very field. So no, it is not a fair price and they're definitely not the real McCoy to even begin to have the temerity to present themselves in such a way. Some of the responses were on the verge of arrogance towards other makers as well. Labor cost, shearling skins, over the top quality… I’d say to that ‘whatever floats your boat’, but it’s not like others are made on galleys where people are beavering away to avoid the whiplashing. And they definitely didn’t have to go all the way to Poland to source their sheepskin. Obviously to cut costs but still price it this much. It’s not like the landed cost of manufacturing this jacket is so high that they cannot afford a decent price. It’s not even that complex unlike some of them. And it surely would not be slim profit if they priced it around £1300. Instead they chose to act like ‘Dior’ with their $67 dollars to make $2000 bags. Just to put this into perspective, this is the price of made-to-measure ‘durable one star’ by Bill Kelso where you are in control of almost each and every detail that goes into your jacket. I hope people wouldn’t let this slide.

Hello, Thank you for taking time to view the product and comment. As a small family run business we listen to all of the comments and appreciate constructive feedback. I am sorry that you felt that we came across in anyway arrogant in our replies on comments on the jacket, although looking back we did say that the brands you mentioned are amazing and doing a great job - we'd hate anyone to think that this wasn't the case. The jackets that we make are made-to-order, so we aren't buying the material in bulk, this cuts any wastage - but also comes with a price. We make them to individual measurements and we have done so for several customers that have ordered. We have used the highest quality leather/shearling and hardwares, but this isn't us saying that anyone else's are less than - we are all different. We use the Horween trims as this is a staple in our footwear collection and the idea of being able to match your jacket with shoes felt right to us. ​@@vladimirsamoylenko3912thank you for replying and bringing some of the points I have made in other videos. I think this rests the case of why there are better and cheaper options out there with a higher expected quality from reputable and specialised leather jacket companies (like Aero or Eastman). A topic to add as to where the high price for this jacket is coming from and I have not seen shared in Goral's reply is that this is a collaboration jacket with a RUclips influencer guy, which apparently comes at a cost to Goral. That is also reflected in the price towards the customer.
