The Mac works well, I do like the look of them. A black sole and laces would give a bee-wasp look. I wonder if a Parka would work the one with "fur" edge on the hood, fun ankles for the winter? Great video 2x👍
All in all, I don't hate this. Someone could argue the ripples as a sort of patina without the effort of wear. Would I wear these? I'm going to go with a solid "probably, yeah".

The brand Loctite in America makes a vinyl adhesive which works really well.

What is the material you use as the surface when applying the adhesive? Does it not get all sticky

With a technical lining and some membrane on the vamp these would be fine…
Boot with a real Mac! That might be a cool concept that could sell. If you could get them to be waterproof with a gusseted tongue.
