I've played the campaign 4 times. I don't think kratos dies when Thor hits him there. I think he's more just unconscious. The man's been hit by so much. There's no way he's gonna die from one shot

Its explained late in game, but Thor was trying SO hard to resist chugging the Mead after he poured. As one who's fought alcoholism on and off for the past 5 years, id recognize that pained look on his face immediately. I have however been sober for the past seven months and im a mere mortal. 🎉
