I hate that noone really reacted much to Thor hitting a MASSIVE serpent so hard that he knocked him out, then hit him even harder to knock him back through time.
jormungandr reborn he gets sent back in time the cycle goes on🤯🤯 Glocos face Is like this emoji 😮😧 Like when jormungandr gets sent back in time it’s like so random when it happens
I know that’s what annoys me with all these reactions I even remembered that jormy was to be sent back in time in this version so I knew it was gonna happen during my play-through
I love Jormangandr so much but watching him fight Thor makes him look so weak 😔 But if Jormy was a wee faster, like when Atreus called him in 2018 then Thor would be dead
That's the problem with fighting small targets as a large one. They're much faster than you by default. I don't think him being faster would have made much if a difference in this case
Budget/Resourcing. Ragnarok in general should have been on a much bigger scale. but unfortunately its still a PS4 game aswell and there is only so much you can pack into one scene. If this was a PS5 exclusive then no doubt we would have seen a more grand and intense fight with Thor and Jormungandr
That was a younger and smaller jormangandr fighting Thor, I believe the old one is bigger also has more experience, but yeah if Thor was jormies size, Jorm woulda won
I can understand this much that the gamers in this video don’t pay attention to lines said in game and don’t understand Norse mythology, like what Miri said “he didn’t follow us from Midgard” and at the end the World Serpent disappearing, it is said that the battle between Thor and Jormungandr was so devastating that it sent Jormungandr back in time
So i am the only person with brain on earth who realised the snake is from giant realm that was created alongside angerboda and thor sended him back to 2018 when he disappeared at the end
@@Recast_VR Only briefly. It's both the same Jormy. Midgard Jormy already experienced this hundreds of years ago. That's why no one knew where he came from. Atreus hadn't created him yet.
Fuming at the lack of reaction you're literally watching the prophecy take place. Thor SMASHED HIM so hard that it splintered the Yggdrasil and sent him back in time. DEEP THAT. He hit him SO HARD, IT SENT HIM BACK IN TIME.
Giant snake Boi disappears yet nobody puts it together that they're living the story about him being sent back through time by Thor. So wouldn't that make this a never ending cycle? Cause if Jormangandr got sent back then it just lives the same stuff over and over. Cause once it gets sent back then once you get to that point again then it'll happen the same way
The serpent sent back in time was the snake that Atreus and Angrboda put a giant’s soul into. The one from GoW(2018) was still in Midgard during Ragnarok.
The jormungandr got sent back in time is a younger version that atreus and angrboda put the soul of a giant into a snake, and jormungandr in the 2018 game is an older, more experienced version. So for a short while there were two jormungandrs
Honestly, so disappointed Jormungander was so… Underwhelming in Ragnarok? He helped us so much back in 2018 yet here in ragnarök he just feels like an afterthought, how did he came to be? Just because Atreus put a soul of a giant on a snake simply for the meme, nothing profound, no thought put into it, they don’t even let us see the snake grow and when it fights Thor there’s so little fanfare about it, and neither the players nor the characters care that much when young snake boy is sent back in time… Like, legit nobody cared, and that makes me sad
Jormungander was always meant to be a small thing in Ragnarok. In Norse Mythology, Odin has his own fight with Fenrir and Heimdall has a showdown with Loki. Thor’s battle is just one of a couple “events” in Ragnarok, and Thor is supposed to die not from an actual attack but from taking on too much venom. Their fight is supposed to play a small but cool part, kind of like the reveal of Ingrid being Freyr’s sword. It was just a neat little side thing between Kratos and Atreus’ fights.

Most of them don't even know Norse lore
@lechillinarts2426 a lot of you don't know norse lore either lmao, you guys just learned about it after God Of War came out
@@Theboredgod it's not even about knowing the lore, it's about seeing the immense strength Thor has.
@@christopherdiaz9921 very true my friend but these niggs had 5 fucking years to understand 1% of Norse lore and they didn't, I'm dead 💀

bruh nobody barely had a reaction when thor sent jormungandr back in time, so disappointed
I know that’s what annoys me with all these reactions I even remembered that jormy was to be sent back in time in this version so I knew it was gonna happen during my play-through
The only people that had reaction was us the viewers who got chills and hype after that scene
To be fair, I don't think they knew what happened, so they paid more attention to Thor dragging Kratos around again.

That this one was from the giants realm

If you speed up Jormungandr's first "lines" in the 2018 game he says that he knows Kratos and that him and Atreus need to go find Mimir

Jacksepticeye was SPOT ON in guessing which Jormangandr was which
Wait so the snake that Atreus gave soul to in jotunheim is the world serpent in god of war sent back in time by Thor
PS4 limitations really held back ragnarok

It's a main question?
Because i didn't see this scene
@@thesayrex7687 it’s an unskippable cutscene. The game pauses to show you the fight.
