This is one of the greatest plot twists in history. The game was giving us subtle hints the whole time as to who he really was but nobody really caught on
@@kellypedersen6590 another little detail I noticed, is that when they introduce Odin it shows the ravens turning into tattoos on his arms. For the rest of the game, you don’t see those tattoos, meaning that the ravens were out. Huginn was with Atreus, and Muninn was in the closet
The way the subtitles shift the name Tyr to Odin mid sentence is a great touch. Even greater is that the subtitles gives him the name Tyr. When later on, as you find the real god, his subtitle name is Týr. It's subtle.
@@andrei-cezarbleaje5519 When talking ABOUT Týr, the little bit is there. But Odin wearing the face, the subtitles say Tyr. Is a good little subtle hint.
What makes these scene so good, is that everyone thought brok was just being a comic relief. But once he smacked away the mask everyone thought he was over reacting, (besides jacksepticeye). But the tyr reveal is still such a shocker
Everybody has already pointed out all the great stuff why this scene was so impactful but can I just add, this scene also containing the first time they showed us how dwarves uses their teleport, it was cherry on top.
What hurts most is that his "soul bits" are broken up. He doesn't even have an afterlife after that...he's just...gone. I loved Brok. A hard man, but also a friend when you needed him, master of hilarious insults. Dude didn't deserve to go out the way he did :(
I don't think there has been a moment in all the games I've played that has made me feel so utterly betrayed as this game, and this scene. I was so... so angry, and so upset, that my trust was manipulated so thoroughly, I could never forgive Odin. And he's a damn fictional character. And Brok, I think I actually mourned him, he was such a character, so full of life for being effectively a zombie.
I won't lie. First time I saw this part which was my first time playing on PC. I was completely unphases when Brok got stabbed. But when Odin appeared that's when my adrenaline for "WTF" went through the roof. An amazing feeling of plot twists such as this.
First time for me in a game where im fighting the Final boss and the only thing I can think about is a Side characters death. Got the get backs for my brother

Actually there was a video someone made before the game was released saying that tyr is odin
In brazil many people though that @@hassanawdi3793
@hassanawdi3793 that's Captain Kuba I'm sure 😅
Re-playing and watching how "Tyr" shoves Atreus out of the way in Groa's prophecy shrine . . .

Probably one of the the saddest death Scenes in a game that really hit me and till this day …. Rip Brok😪💙

The biggest plot twist and the saddest death all in one scene. I literally screamed WHAT?!?! on my first playthrough.
I accidentally spoiled it for myself when looking at a guide to find all ravens. 🥲
Love Corys "WHAT" 😂

I dont react much when playing or watching a plot twist but this scene geniunely made me visibly open my mouth in shock.
The music as Brok dies made it so much sadder

I was shocked and stop playing the game for days because of this.
Ya tenia ganas de matar a Odin desde antes, pero con esto se volvio personal
Thanks again!
I haven't experienced a plot twist like that since Jak 3's plot twist. I was SO glad I was staying away from the internet to avoid spoilers.
I love this plot

2:50 literally everyone: 😮
Please make part 18
Can you show when they meet up with sindri and he blames atreus
I was happy to take down Odin before this moment
But after? Nah, it became PERSONAL
2:45 Fake Tyr kills Brok.
I’m so high right now this is like a adhd simulation
Sooo sad 😢😭
The sadest part is, brok is not alive even in helheim

As disappointing as this game is, this was a great scene
Look it had its faults. It’s could have been more better , but still a great game to say at least.

Atreus sucks. Always hated him.
Bro what? Tf did he do?
He is not at falut of this, Only Odin and Sindri.
