Early last year, I acquired a clamshell iBook G3 and upgraded it with an SSD, but the top and bottom case didn't quite go back together and the screen assembly crackled alarmingly when opening due to misaligned tabs. As such, I opened up the iBook again to fix those structural issues from the initial upgrade (and opened it up a third time to install a bigger SSD). My first upgrade on the iBook was successful; my subsequent work was a genuinely good job.

I think I fully accepted jankitude when I realized there was no "proper" way to swap out the HD in my Mac G4 Cube for a 2.5" SSD without accepting a little ad hoc. I mean, if it was good enough for half a dozen RUclips pros (like you gentlemen), it was good enough for me.

These old GPU's still have a lot of power in them for modern games! Even Maxwell GPU's are still very good, i built myself a project box to experiment but to also have a solid high end Windows 7 machine and a totally overkill Windows XP machine. It ran a GTX680 at first but found a really solid deal on a Titan X Maxwell and snagged it and its just insane how powerful Maxwell is to this day. As a matter of fact, Maxwell is still being sold today through the Switch because it uses the Tegra X1 SoC!

I mean the intake and exhaust fans on laptop can be reused for the intake you can either use it as an extra intake fan for your other laptop and for exhaust fan you can use it as a vacuum fan to suck out hot air
